Anyone TTC May

Hi Ladies,

I was hopeful this month but can feel signs of AF creeping up and due in a couple of days..

I'm not too distraught as we only managed it a couple of times in my fertile week so thought it may be the case this month was a no. Now I am so ready to get annoying AF out of the way and get on the May bus!

Is anyone else in the same boat and hoping next month is the one?

I am taking folic and vitamin D at the moment but I'm going to add DHA and co-q10 as well as I've heard v good things.

Good luck to those going for May... it's my birthday in May too and I've asked for a baby 😂

Hey everyone! Another one here 🙋‍♀️ trying again after 3 chemicals this is my first ovulation after my last loss and my final try before leaving it for a little while. Starting my aspirin at 1dpo also being prescribed progesterone pessaries when I get my positive pregnancy test so hopefully that will finally work for me 🤞

CD1 for me after AF arriving today. Wishing everyone all the luck for May! Happy about a new cycle after some uncertainty and and a fresh start. 4th cycle trying for #2 💛

Lovely to see so many replies and know we are all in the same boy one way or another. Lots of luck to everyone for May. I hope we can give each another some support as well as having one another to have a good old rant to!
Af due tomorrow - I'm pretty sure it's on its way I notice I get the weirdest gargling noises right before! 😂 strange..

I'm still 10/11DPO on this cycle but AF due Friday and I feel like it's coming so counting myself out for April already...feeling really disappointed after a faint but clear, with colour and everything, evap line got me excited earlier this week 🤦🏼‍♀️ BFNs since, boo. Looking for some solidarity as I gear up for TTC in May, and for support in helping me break my POAS addiction! This will be cycle 2 TTC #3, and am considering trying SMEP for the first time this month- anyone had success with this before? I'm not sure I have the energy for it 😆 huge amounts of luck to you all ladies 🍀🍀🍀
... whats SMEP? 🙈 i went cold turkey on POAS, I was on opks then pregnancy tests every day from about cd7. Its addictive! X

Hi everyone! Hope you don’t mind me joining.

We’re onto cycle 4 of ttc #1 this month after an early miscarriage in December, I’m 27 and my husband is 28.

Last month we tried the DTD every day of my fertile window approach, it took the romance out of it completely for me, so we’ve binned the OPK’s this month and we are just aiming to DTD when we want to and hope for the best.

If that doesn’t work out we’ll jump right back into tracking in June 🤦‍♀️🤞!

Me!

We were NTNP for March and April but for various reasons weren't able to DTD at the right times anyway. This will be our first month making a conscious effort!

I have very long cycles (34-44 days) and am using soy isoflavones to promote ovulation which definitely worked last month, just not until CD 24...

Should be ovulating either the 2nd or 3rd week of May so we'll see how it goes! Smile

What does NTNP mean? Sorry to ask I think I'm being a bit thick

@Snowdonia you’re in same boat as me I think. My cycles vary a bit but I’m due on anytime between Tuesday and Friday next week. I’m 99% sure I’m not pregnant this month so just wish af would hurry up so I can try again x

Another one here!
This will be our first month TTC. Came off the pill February but have been using other contraception, as wanted to see what my cycle was like first. Had one 27 day cycle, just waiting for the second to start in the next few days.

Hey! This is the first post I've found where it's not too late to join on hopefully 🙂

I came off the pill in November, had a normal AF in December, then in January and February my cycles were crazy long compared to normal. Got my hopes up thinking I was pregnant but it was just my body adjusting after the pill.

I'm due on next week and don't think I'm pregnant. I think my tracking apps were off as I forgot to adjust them as my cycles altered. I should really try the OPK's!

Hopeful for May along with you all!

Hi ladies! Apologies in advance for what I'm sure will be a rambling post! This is my first post but I've been lurking for a while :) I'm on cycle 10 of ttc and trying to chivvy myself along that this month will be the one. My partner works away a lot so while we've been trying for a year, retrospective tracking tells me the first few tries were wildly out of line time wise :) My cycles can vary from 24-28 days, but I've found that with some (albeit internet cheapie) OPK's and watching my discharge I can predict when I'm ovulating and when I'll come on quite well, which is 'nice' if not disheartening every month haha.
Looking forward to chatting with you all and hoping for some good news stories! x

@Msd2416 haha it’s awful! I mean it’s great that we can time things but jeez it’s confusing sometimes! I managed to lose my clear blue opk so just used cheapies from last time that were expired and got positives 4 days in a row. My cycles since stopping breastfeeding recently are anything from 28-31 days so I’m really not sure when I actually ovulated. I’m single and using a donor (same donor as before) so really have to time it right! X

@Losd oh wow. How confusing is TTC ha! I feel like i learn something new everyday. With my daughter we decided to try and it happened first time. I feel like all this tracking etc is so WILD ahaha

@Msd2416 when I was TTC my daughter my cycles went from 28 days to 31 days. The month I actually conceived I had skipped a period altogether! I conceived her in middle of March 2019 but my last period had been the start of January x

Hi ladies, ok if I join in? I’m technically still in the 2ww for April but I’m less than optimistic for this month, so pretty sure I’ll be TTC in May and hoping for TTC buddies! X

@polkadotpixie Oh thats good your cycles are shorter! Mine seem to have got longer for no apparent reason? 31 days now...

Im ovulating around 10th :)

Me! 🙋‍♀️ I'm 36 (37 in May though) and it'll be cycle 1 TTC #2. I will probably ovulate around 19th May

I have a 2 year old DS who took 11 cycles to conceive, probably due to my Endometriosis so I'm not expecting it to happen quickly this time either

I have short cycles 23-26 days and plan to use OPKs and chart my BBT again as I found it really helpful last time

Gosh, my heart goes out to you. I was beside myself when it happened to me. This would be my 1st so I didn't know what to expect.

But yes I agree 🤣 I tried to be relaxed but I'm so impatient so now it's back to tracking 🤣🤣🤣
