Anyone TTC May

Hi Ladies,

I was hopeful this month but can feel signs of AF creeping up and due in a couple of days..

I'm not too distraught as we only managed it a couple of times in my fertile week so thought it may be the case this month was a no. Now I am so ready to get annoying AF out of the way and get on the May bus!

Is anyone else in the same boat and hoping next month is the one?

I am taking folic and vitamin D at the moment but I'm going to add DHA and co-q10 as well as I've heard v good things.

Good luck to those going for May... it's my birthday in May too and I've asked for a baby 😂

I had my first strong positive on an opk and a smiley face on clear blue Friday and yesterday. Today is an empty circle. We dtd Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night. Am I covered or should we do it today even with empty circle? X
If you want to then go for it.

I think I'm out for May, I'm due to ov next Sunday and I'm away Friday and Saturday night through to Sunday evening with work so won't be able to BD.

Been using the OneStep OPKs and decided I'd get the CB Advanced Digital for this cycle as it is our first cycle trying (came off pill Feb but wanted to just track cycle for a couple months with protection). First CB I used on day 14 and got the solid smiley straight away! We BD a day prior, on peak and the day after, (and again today and tomorrow if we feel up to it). This is the first month I've really noticed the twinges of ovulation too. 1DPO today. Again 1st cycle so trying not to get hopes up this early on!

Hi new here. Me and my lovely partner are into cycle 3 it's being a learning cure each month and clair is starting to read her body better and our tracking ovulation has improved doing alot of affarmand meditation between us to keep positive wonderfu journey to be on worh this wonderfull women and really want to give her this dream. Hope everybody gets there wish nice to meet yous all.

That's slightly darker than my line I would think you're almost there.. go for it!

@LovelyLion3 do you think you're about to ovulate? You may get a solid tomorrow like you predict or maybe slightly later.
I had an empty circle today but have a feeling I will get my first solid smiley tomorrow or perhaps Saturday.
We have a date night tomorrow night so dtd tomorrow evening 😂 and hopefully Saturday morning!
I wouldn't get disheartened I would assume ovulation hasn't happened yet and is due soon! Good luck 🤞 xx

I drank grapefruit juice yesterday for the first time as well. I really don't like the taste but drank it anyway.

Have you got some left? If you have ovulation pain I would do one to check. You might just have not built up enough hormone yet. My lines aren't super dark on a cheap opk but I know I am about to ovulate soon as all signs pointing towards it. Our bodies can be strange and complicated sometimes. I would test and go from there! X

Hi @LovelyLion3 I am experiencing slight ovulation pain today too. I think it is 24-48 before you actually ovulate. My app says I will ovulate Tuesday however I have now got egg white cm (been drinking grapefruit juice, and I can confirm it works!) I think I will get my peak tomorrow/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.

I'm learning much more to listen to my body and look for the signs as the apps aren't always bang on x

Can you have ovulation pain days before ovulation. I had the pain yesterday but I didn't think I would ovulate until tomorrow and I'm afraid I missed it. My cervical mucus has been slowly changing. It was dry yesterday and sticky. Today it's white and creamy. I was hoping that meant I was close to ovulation but idk what that pain was yesterday. It felt like O pain. 😞

I think I ovulated on Monday - no idea but that's what the app said. DH is now feeling really unwell so I think any action is off the table tonight aghhh Confused

I'm 12dpo today and bfn. But yesterday had a positive ovulation test. So confusing, fed up, had enough!

I am 13 DPO, did a test yesterday and BFN. Last night and this morning I feel so down. I'm so tired of TTC & thinking about it constantly. I had some pinky mucousy discharge and cramping this morning & now I'm thinking about implantation bleeding, but surely I would've got at least a faint positive yesterday? Its probably the start of AF. I hope there's better news for all of us soon

@Losd oh no! I’m so moody I can only imagine AF MUST be coming!!! Five days late now and only BFNs, so definitely not pregnant!

@Fiep well that’s af arrived with a vengeance! So there goes my theory haha! OPK’s at the ready for next week though, this will be it, a nice wee Feb 2022 baby!

@Losd same! My cycles vary by a few days but that’s it, not like this.
Actually the same thing as you happened to me when I conceived my daughter too. Skipped a period and then conceived at some random point a few weeks later! Let’s hope so!

@Fiep aw man it’s so frustrating!! My periods only came back in September because I was breastfeeding but they’ve been so regular! I mean they jump from 28-31 days but this is now day 34 which has never happened before!
I’m power-eating chocolate too haha we’ll end up the size of houses and not even pregnant Grin Just wish we could either get BFP’s or at least AF! It might be a good sign though as like I said, I conceived my daughter the month I skipped a period so maybe it’s our womb linings getting nice and thick and cosy to welcome a little egg! X

@Losd, same here!!! AF late since Friday and only bright white BFNs here! Boobs sore but that’s probably just because I’m comfort-eating chocolate in crazy quantities and getting fat as a result? Blush

Omg I’m so fed up now! 17dpo, period 3 days late. Metallic taste in my mouth, dizziness and tired, but BFN on all tests! Testing like the POAS addict I am but nothing but bright white negatives, getting scunnered with this now. On the plus side, the month I conceived my daughter I had skipped a period so might be the same again, will start doing OPK’s when I would normally ovulate anyway
