2/3dpo anyone?

Sorry to hear it @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 and @HannahAD -not def out til AF I guess? But I know the disappointment -hope you're both doing okay and are treating yourselves a bit today x

My AF's due on Thursday and not going to bother testing again as I don't have any symptoms apart from a dull ache on the right side of my pelvis, which I'm pretty sure is some kind of muscle thing. Looking forward to guilt free wine!

Any news from anyone else? Hope everyone's doing okay x

@MoominC for some reason I hate taking tests! Now I’m temping I can see if temp starts dropping and if my charts not looking good, I can manage my expectations 😂 Sounds like a lovely weekend with your niece.

@CurlewCalls sorry about the funeral. I’d say three days before sounds like you’re still in, and that last temp spike looks really good!

@ChickenNuggetRose- that sounds like it could be a good sign, but I definitely relate to not wanting to get your hopes up -It can be so hard though.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 -sounds a good idea not to have any tests in the house, but that's also a good call about the cheapy ones from @MoominC
-does anyone recommend a cheapie brand? You hear some stories about some bad ones...

I've attached my chart -I went to a funeral over my fertile window and so really had counted this month out until I started getting carried away with thinking how lovely the timing would be with goodbyes and hellos... But BD 3 days b4 ovulation is pretty unlikely I think, esp at 36 and with not much EWCM... Weirdly, I rarely get peaks on opk's, I'm not sure why.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 have you tried amazon? You get get like 50 cheapie tests for quite cheap which are good for when your feeling inpatient and want to test 😂 hopefully af will stay away for you.

@Wanderdream sorry to hear your af came too 😔 I was expecting mine this month for some reason. Its like my body just knew. Hopefully we will have more luck next cycle x

It’s a weird month for me, everything has gone now, the cramps, the back ache, the sore boobs. I’m just waiting now...

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 One app says period is due 3 days, the other says 5 days 🤣 So I'll just take it as 4 days! I normally get cramps a day or two before my period, not usually like this! I did get cramps this long when I was pregnant with my first, but I don't want to get my hopes up! 😞

@ChickenNuggetRose when is your period due? I’m guessing you don’t normally cramp so early on in luteal phase?

Mine is due tomorrow apparently. I’m 12 dpo today, the tinged cm seems to have stopped, so as period is so close I’m waiting til tomorrow to see what happens. Plus I don’t have any tests and they’re so expensive at the chemist here, so figure I can have a nice takeaway or bottle of wine as a treat instead 😆

11dpo today. Still getting cramps 😩 Feels like AF coming but I've had them for about a week now and yesterday I had on and off slight left pelvic pain but it's not there today! When's everyone due on?

@CurlewCalls yes i temp at half six also, but sometimes at six, sometimes at seven.

@MoominC -gahhh disappointing about AF -hope you're feeling okay and looking toward new possibilities in the next cycle
@HannahAD I find temping helpful and got used to it after a month or so -I was doing it at 7.15am but realised I wake up earlier and was lying in bed waiting for the time, which threw the temps out and was annoying for my morning (but could still see the patten). Now I temp when I first wake at 6-6.30am and much better -good luck with it if you try it!
@weathervane123 - really sorry to hear about your MC -really keeping my fingers crossed for you. I'm also older and it's my 1st TTC. I do feel the pressure because of that but know I'm going to do whatever it takes, whatever that journey may be. Baby dust all round!

My temp rose quite significantly today but tbh I'm not at all hopeful as our BD timing was pretty awful this month!

@weathervane123 sorry about your miscarriage. I had one end of last year and my periods were longer the next two cycles (about a week longer). Of course I thought I might be pregnant, but apparently it can be v normal to be out of whack and delayed

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me jumping in!

I'm 7dpo today. Pretty sure I ovulated after my surge because I had all the symptoms, which I only get sometimes. I'm 38, ttc baby no.1, and nervous because I had a mmc at 6+5 in early April. I've had a couple of chemicals too.

We didn't wait for AF to show up before we tried again, so though I know when I ovulated I have no idea when AF is due to show! My own fault of course. I think I'm just going to try and resist testing until next Sunday, if no AF. I guess it's odd not to get any kind of positive at 14dpo if you are preggo, right? No symptoms at all so far, though my brain is trying to conjure them up!

I implanted late last time (bfn until 14dpo, and then only faint bfp until 16dpo) and I hope that doesn't happen again because it wasn't a good sign for me.

Anyway, I'm so glad to have found these threads, and am wishing everyone the best in their journey!

Well I never had to test in the end since AF showed up this morning. I had a feeling it was coming so not suprised. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all and sending baby dust ❤

I caved at dpo11, bfn but feeling positive about focusing on the next cycle - good luck everyone, looks like some potentially good signs occurring -Wishing lots of baby dust!

@Boz22 I’m in the same boat, don’t know if it’s normal, but my period is due in 3 days. Just very pale tinged cm really as opposed to spotting

@HannahAD I do, 2nd cycle of doing it, I really recommend it. It’s really easy (I was worried it wouldn’t be). Just get a bbt thermometer (about £5) that goes to 2 decimal places, leave it next to your bed along with your phone, and take your temp first thing before moving as soon as you wake up. Pop it in an app and they chart it for you and confirm ovulation for you

I am looking for anyone who has similar to me, sorry if tmi! I am10dpo, ttc, and have had a bit of spotting but like more pinky discharge and nothing significant... Is this normal at the time in the cycle (AF due 6 days). Any thoughts welcome! Thank you! X

@HannahAD yeah I do, as my cycles are quite irregular it’s the only way I’d have any idea of when I ovulate. I find it helpful but I know some people can find it quite stressful/get a bit too absorbed in it
