1DPO - Anyone want to join for the 2WW?

@JuniperAndTonic Don't count yourself out just yet. Try to play nice with husband though! Maybe a game! We played the Game of life a few nights ago and we had so much fun together just not thinking about TTC or the 2WW. Husband had 8 kids and no room for them in his little car while we were playing.

@extrababydust123 I would give it a go if it doesn't happen this month! We DTD from the 9th-16th (I got my peak ovulation reading on the 15th). Don't get me wrong - it was tiring and a couple of nights we definitely could have passed on it but we wanted to try and see if it worked!

@charja100 Thank you! Fingers crossed for your BFP soon!! If you're only a few days into your 2ww then it could well be implantation spotting.

It's like now my brain has confirmed the BFP, symptoms have come from nowhere left, right and centre. The worst one is a heightened sense of smell, so many things making me feel nauseous. I'm sure this is just a placebo symptom but I'm hoping it doesn't stick around!

I don’t feel great this evening, not sure if I’m just tired but irrationally angry with husband tonight and he’s down nothing wrong bless him 😂 don’t know how they put up with us!! Probably PMS so I don’t think this is my month 😔

@dogmom0930 That is a good thought I have the same thoughts if this is not a BFP month then at least when we go out of the county I can at least have a drink and just relax.

I am in the 2ww, 9 DPO. I had a CP last month and am fairly sure I felt implantation at 9 DPO for that one. So, I'm trying hard not to read too much into that if it does or doesn't happen today. I'm planning to test late this weekend at the earliest if I notice any nausea/dizziness like I had last month. But I can definitely feel myself getting antsy and nervous that it might not be my month. I keep telling myself that if it isn't, at least I can drink at my sister's wedding in a few weeks and maybe even do a weekend away without having to deal with nausea We shall see!

@dogmom0930 No patience what so ever. But I am scared of seeing anymore BFNs so I think I am just super nervous. Lol I have no major symptoms other than slight lower back pain, intense hunger (only for certain foods, so cravings) and sleepiness. I am super tired! Thank you for the positive thoughts and crossed fingers.

I have to go back and read! Are you still in the 2WW or do you have a BFP already?

@IzzT I tested once on 10DPO at night (I have no idea why I didn't wait for first morning urine) I couldn't see anything. It was a dollar store cheapie! DH said don't trust it and just be patient and wait. So that is what I am doing.

I would like to jump in. 30 and TTC #1! Today I am 14DPO, which is the day I typically expect AF. I didn't remember to test this morning as my mind is all over the place. I will wait to test tomorrow morning......or should I just wait since tomorrow afternoon is my well-woman's exam??? I don't know. We have been TTC for 10 months now and I am truly getting tired, but not too tired to stop. I really want this baby!

I didn't think I needed OPKs to let me know my peak levels because I feel like I know my body. Really, I probably don't. But at 32 and TTC #1, I just wanted the extra peace of mind to know that I'm doing things at the right time so I can take that out as a factor if I don't have success. Besides having that peace of mind, I've also liked that it's helping me see patterns of my body in relation to OPK readings. So, it's helping me understand my body a little better too.

@Tangfastic91 I haven’t been using ovulation tests - mainly because I wanted to be relaxed to start with and not getting obsessed with peeing on a stick! I may start in a few months time if it’s not happening but for now just listening to my body - looking for signs like egg white cervical mucous and I also often get ovulation pain same as you! Good luck with everything!

I’m 9FPO - think I’ll test tomorrow using FMU as my period is due in 5 days according to my app (have an average 26 day cycle). I just want to know either way now!

@K8Tee I'm sure you'll be fine, it's if it less that 11 days and you should be ovulating 24-48 hours after your peak so plenty of time.

Apparently shorts follicular phases are a sign of getting old and having less eggs left :( I'm 35 so that makes sense for me.

@Tangfastic91 I think that's quite possible. I get ovulation pain too but I usually get a high, then a couple of days of peak then get the pain at the end, so I usually use OPK's so I know when ovulation is about to happen and DTD everyday through those high and peak days. My OPKs usually go back to low within a few hours of ovulation pain.

But I think that's different for everyone.

Anyone trying without ovulation tests? I seem to get a stabbing pain each month (alternates sides) around CD15 so I'm going to try without testing for a few months and see how it goes.

@Lalala1985 oh god don't say that. I normally get my peak ov test on day 11-13. 😬

Heya hope it's OK if I join? On 3rd cycle TTC, but not sure we'll have much success this month as ovulated on CD12 which I read is a little too early for the egg to be healthy. I've been vaguely tracking my cycles for the last few years and have noticed that if I ovulate from my right it's very painful and always earlier, usually I ovulate around CD15-17 on the left.

Anyway weirdest thing happened after DTD on ovulation day: as soon as we'd finished my cat jumped on the bed and started kneading around my uterus - it's like he was trying to help!
