1DPO - Anyone want to join for the 2WW?

Hello! First month TTC. Currently 1DPO, no symptoms as of yet, but already feeling stressed at the thought of not knowing if we were successful for two more weeks! Worried we didn't BD enough, we did every other day during the fertile window including day before O. Anyone got any advice or just want to join in the conversation to get us through the wait?

@Daisyrobin123 ah this is amazing! And getting the 2-3 weeks means there's a decent amount of HCG so very positive! I'm debating whether to take a digital or not? My internet cheapy was definitely a bit darker this morning that the one I did last night (I'll attach a photo of this mornings).

Confirmed with a clear blue digital so feels much more real now! 🙈 I thought the tww was anxiety inducing, now I've got to get to the first scan!

So excited to hopefully see some more BFP's over the next few days on here! 🤞🤞❤

@K8Tee my internet cheapie was bfn 9DPO with first morning urine but faint line in the evening so still definitely loads of time for BFPs.

@JuniperAndTonic oh no! Hope you're feeling better soon! Hopefully that's all symptoms and HCG just isn't high enough to see on a test yet!

@JuniperAndTonic sorry for your bfn but its still very early days.

I'm 9dpo too and tested bfn this morning. I used an Internet cheapie as was too scared to use my first response early one as it'll be more accurate and I'd rather have that bit of hope for a bit longer lol 😆

@JuniperAndTonic oh no! Glad you're feeling better with paracetamol. Still early for tests right? So fingers crossed you get a BFP (thanks again Google) in the next couple of days.

Morning ladies, hope you’re all okay! Woke up this morning at 04.30 feeling absolutely awful - headache, nausea, aching all over including boobs and shivery like I had a fever but checked my temp and it was fine. Took a test and it was a BFN! No idea what’s going on with me, think my body is playing tricks on me haha! I feel better after some paracetamol!

Is anyone else testing today?? Fingers crossed for you all 🤞🏻

@Lalala1985 ah I'm 31 and have pco and a dodgy thyroid lol so probably is that for me too.

@JuniperAndTonic good luck for the morning! I'm 9dpo too and have a first response early test in my wardrobe but im too scared to test again lol 😆

@IzzT sorry about the bfn today, still early days though so plenty of time.

I still have to Google the words too and this is month 4 for us lol. Starting to learn some bits now 😆

@Daisyrobin123 yeah it's definitely pink and there. Also took a clearblue 6 day early one and there's a faint blue line on that one so don't think it's an evap/indent. Just hoping it darkens now and is a chemical or whatever.

@dogmom0930 ooh I hope so... really shouldn't have tested early, I feel even more stressed now 😂

@JuniperAndTonic and @DeafChef1 thanks for your quick replies! Hahaha Im amazed you think I can hold out until 12DPO to test again.... I literally tested twice on 9DPO 🙈 Im clearly a POAS addict 😬

Definitely want to see a darker line before I tell hubby though - I feel like he wouldn't even be able to see it right now 😂 will test with FMU I think and see what I get. I might try and pick up some FRER too as these are only cheapy ones.

@IzzT It is there, but super faint......but it should be. try your best to wait and test around 12DPO with FMU so you can get the urine that isn't diluted if you are drinking tons of water.

@dogmom0930 How true that is! Definitely a character builder for sure.

Urgent opinions required! I was stupid again and thought I'd try an evening test... I swear I see something but maybe I'm imagining it... I'm only 9DPO so if there was something it'd be super faint right? 🤞

@DeafChef1 Excellent ideas! And I agree -- waiting for something to NOT be there seems so backwards! It's equally comical to me that this wait is on the shoulders of the natural over-thinkers of the sexes. But definitely a character builder if I'm looking for the silver lining Smile

Thank you for your kind words @DeafChef1 - I know I’m not out yet and even if I was it’s still early days for me so focussing on that! Board games is a great idea - I love game of life!! I also love making my imaginary family on the Sims haha!

@dogmom0930 It was super fun. He had 8 kids and I (JOKINGLY) told him I was filing for a divorce because he had 8 kids! I called his mother and everything! She was like where did he get the kids from? I laughed too hard to tell her it was a game!

Hi everyone! Isn't it ironic how as a younger girl/woman you are spending this time waiting for AF and now we are spending this time hoping that AF just miraculously doesn't show up?!?!?!!?

Here are some of my 2WW activities that I participate in to get my mind off the WAIT:

  • Crossword puzzles
  • Coloring books
  • Painting with Spouse
  • Scrabble
  • Baking Homemade cakes
  • Organizing my closet to make room for my Spirit Baby's arrival
  • redecorating my patio (this was the most fun activity)
