5DPO - anybody want to keep each other company..?

jessicarolfe · 20/04/2021 20:16

Hey everyone!

So I'm currently 5DPO - this is my 8th cycle TTC and I've had two chemical pregnancies.

Since these, I've promised myself I won't test early to try and avoid disappointment.. 🥴

Anybody fancy keeping me company?

@extrababydust123 still so early! But I definitely know what you mean, especially after a few months of great timing and still nothing. Is anyone testing earlier that due on or are you able to wait till atleast due date? 😬 I usually get to day 10 before I give in!

jessicarolfe · 21/04/2021 22:25

Keep positive @extrababydust123 you never know! So many people don't experience anything at all until their missed AF / BFP!!! Xxx

Not sure why but I’m feeling really negative about everything and feel like I’m not pregnant ☹️ I just want to know now, the TWW is a bloody rollercoaster

Arghlife · 21/04/2021 14:41

I take 7seven seas and Calc Fluor, it's meant to be gerally good for you and help thicken up the lining. At the beginning of trying I was taking more pills to increase my LP but that seems long enough now. It's usually 12 days after ovulation till my period, whereas before I was more 9 or 10.

Daisyrobin123 · 21/04/2021 14:20

@jessicarolfe I don't think you're crazy at all. Where is your favourite place you've travelled? We went backpacking for 14 months a few years ago, I am so itching to get on a plane (pregnant or not!!) 🙈🙏

@extrababydust123 I'm taking seven seas too, though I'm terrible at remembering to take them 🙈

Been full of cold for almost three weeks now so I know its pessimistic but I'm already thinking really negatively about this cycle! 🤦‍♀️

extrababydust123 · 20/04/2021 22:23

@jessicarolfe don’t be silly, not crazy at all, if you’re ready you’re ready 😊

Do you guys take any supplements? I have been taking the seven seas TTC but didn’t know if there was anything else I should know about? X

Lovely to hear everyone's stories! Call me crazy but I'm 23.. lots of people say we have heard ahead of us but we have been together almost 9 years now, own our home and have traveled to lots of amazing places.. we have longed for a little one of our own for so long, it's been a rough journey these past 8 months but has definitely certified to me how much we want this!

How about you guys? Xx

@Daisyrobin123 I’ve read different things but surely going for it every day can’t be a bad thing 🤣 we did every other day and then the day before and day of ovulation so fingers crossed it was enough 😊 and I’m still recovering from that never mind every single day haha

Daisyrobin123 · 20/04/2021 21:48

@Arghlife Ha ha bound to happen, you lot type so fast I'm trying to keep up 😂
I think it was 3 days before last month (we'd done it lots before that though - when I thought I was ovulating) 🤦‍♀️

This month we decided to go for everyday of my fertile window... 😴🙈 Totally unlike me and like I said, he was lucky that it was the school holidays. I've read a lot that says every other day is more than enough but thought we would go for it. I'm still recovering 😂😂

extrababydust123 · 20/04/2021 21:46

@Daisyrobin123 I’m honestly just more excited than anything, but you’re totally right and I do need to relax! Probably doing more harm than good! X

Daisyrobin123 · 20/04/2021 21:44

@extrababydust123 I'm sure we can all relate! I would say relax but I know how annoying it is when someone says that 😂🙈. I'm 28 🙂

Arghlife · 20/04/2021 21:43

Ah cross post!

Arghlife · 20/04/2021 21:42

@Daisyrobin123 aww no, that's a pain, how many days before ovulation? We managed to did everything other day in the fertile week so I think it was fine.

Daisyrobin123 · 20/04/2021 21:42

That was last month I mean. This month we made the most of my fertile window being in the easter holidays so 🤞🙈🙈

Daisyrobin123 · 20/04/2021 21:41

@Arghlife Hi 🖐 completely understand you not wanting to track, I was the same last month. Decided to go back to tracking with OPKs this month as my AF ended up being 4 days late which put my ovulation date four days later than predicted. This meant we only actually DTD once on the lead up to ovulation 😞.
Fingers crossed for you! 🌷

Arghlife · 20/04/2021 21:41

@jessicarolfe thanks, that was what I was thinking as it can get quite obsessive....but now I wish I had been tracking 😕 atleast with bbt I could confirm ovulation. No reason not to think I ovulated but I can't help thinking it 😬🙈

extrababydust123 · 20/04/2021 21:40

@Daisyrobin123 absolutely, just feel like I’m being ridiculous at 3dpo but I’m so impatient I’m finding it quite hard already. And I’m 26, how about you? 🥰

extrababydust123 · 20/04/2021 21:39

So good you’re taking the positives from it as hard as that may be ❤️ I think with it being my first cycle, I’m more aware of little twitches and pains than I usually am and I’ll find it hard not to test early when I’m fully symptom spotting in a few days 🙈

Daisyrobin123 · 20/04/2021 21:38

@extrababydust123 I thought that too when I first started coming on here. They definitely don't tell you any of this stuff at school! I think the symptom spotting is totally normal. You start picking up on everything! Hopefully itll happen quickly and you won't have a long journey to get there🌷🥰

@jessicarolfe That must have been so tough, I can't even imagine 😞🌷 and completely understand why you don't want to test early. I'm only on my third cycle, which is absolutley nothing, but it's amazing how disheartened you can get so quickly. I admire your positivity. You got this 💪🥰

How old are you both if you dont mind me asking? 🙂

jessicarolfe · 20/04/2021 21:34

reduces the stress and pressure **

jessicarolfe · 20/04/2021 21:34

That sounds a good plan, definitely refused the stress and pressure when you don't track! @Arghlife x

Arghlife · 20/04/2021 21:29

I'm around 4 or 5 dpo. Decided not to track this month with opks and bbt, just used all my apps and body signs. 5th month trying. Really don't want to test before my period is due but I always do!

jessicarolfe · 20/04/2021 21:27

@extrababydust123 it's okay. It was awful at the time snd still is super painful to think back to, but it's make me grow as a person strangely enough.. it's helped me to keep sane in the TWW's that I've had following the chemical and I've not been so tempted to test early in fear that I might put myself through another chemical pregnancy..

As awful as it was to have the positives and then have it ripped away from us, apparently chemicals are super common it's just we don't pick up on them as we don't typically test so early.
So I've kept that in mind! Xx

extrababydust123 · 20/04/2021 21:25

Oh angel I’m so sorry to hear about that 😢 I can’t imagine how hard that was to deal with. Just think of how lovely it will be to finally get your strong BFP and a lovely sticky bean ❤️
