Sorry its late but congratulations @Flowers222 thats great news!

I'm CD7 today, finally had my first AF after 49 days, finished on Friday. Literally DTD as soon as it finished 😂 (I know it's too early to actually get pregnant but it had been a while and I just wanted to be actually TTC)

@Gracie2021 I think sometimes people don't know what to say so they just say what they think is the right thing to say. I have dropped it all this month but once AF arrives I'm tracking again! As @Cams50 said really it's the only thing with TTC you can be in control with. I don't really like not knowing where I'm at in my cycle either.

@ChinChilly yeah like there’s so much uncertainty and ‘waiting and seeing’ in this ttc stuff that having some idea of what’s going on is easier I think.

@Gracie2021 I’ve heard such good things about acupuncture! Maybe I should try it. Glad you like it. And I’m in the same boat with trying to take a step back. Hope you’re doing ok x

Hi all, like a few of you I’ve been a bit AWOL on here the last month or so. Just needed to take a step back and mind myself for a bit. This stuff is great Craic isn’t it (can you sense the sarcasm)!

Just been catching up through the various updates here. @Juno231 so glad you have the lap behind you now. Hope you’re recovering well and not too sore.

Sounds like tons of you are making the progress on tests and referrals and support. Even though it’s all a bit daunting, hoping it’s productive and helping everyone feel as if they’re taking steps forward towards a positive. And to all the new faces, a very belated hi and welcome from me.

@Kay00 yay for the early ovulation. Hopefully a sign of things to come although with that lovely chart maybe it’ll be a moot point 🤞

@ChinChilly @MissM94 @mrsmacmc @juno can’t believe the insensitive things people do say. Hope you’re all doing ok. Wish people had a bit more sensitivity about these things.

@TheDaydreamBelievers I’d say it’s so lovely having therapy as a space to chat through all of this. I nearly think the hardest part of it all is the sense of isolation. Really hope it’s helping you x

@Cams50 @chinchilly I’m a data addict. I give up tracking anything for the first 10-12 days of the cycle but other than though feel way more in control knowing what’s happening. Hats off to those who have the willpower to drop it all.

Nothing earth shattering here, started acupuncture a few weeks back and it’s been a godsend. It’s the most relaxing hour of my week and if it did nothing for fertility I’d keep going as a treat to me. Also had bloods run by the doc, all back as normal so getting referred for fertility support/testing now. Feels good to have the contingency plan in progress. Otherwise all quiet this side. Surrounded by a few announcements this month but that’s life isn’t it.

@Cams50 I did this cycle of not tracking and I have to admit it has not helped, I don’t know when I’m at, I don’t really know when AF is due just that it’s some time between now and Monday! Not tracking does work for some people but for me I think if I’m tracking I’m doing something about it.

@ChinChilly yesterday I said I was taking a step back from supplements, tracking etc and today I’m like I think I need more vitamins and more detailed tracking 😂

@Cams50 I think it is a premium thing, i only get the cross hairs normally, I really want to add mr RHR aswell 😂 small things aye!

Oh wait think you need FF premium to get that line. Maybe I’ll join in getting that @ChinChilly

@Kay00 that chart!! FF has never given me that luteal line/triphasic chart thing. Amazing 🤞🏻 Do you take the conceive plus fertility support as well as ovulation support? I may try this.

@Kay00 that’s great news about the ovulation support tabs seeming like they have worked.

I’m still waiting impatiently for AF to arrive! I got a £150 google play voucher with my new phone soo i think I’m going to treat myself to FF premium seen as I’m going back into full on physco tracking next cycle 😂😂

@Kay00 haha yes I guess they did! That’s good that they are doing what they are meant to be doing which is help with ovulation.

As for TWW I’m not holding out much hope. We dtd but it was a bit of a struggle this month. It’s starting to feel robotic.

@tillybabs I would assume online, my clinic gave me a link, I joined a room and then the consultant joined, all very easy.

I'm in my TWW too... im utterly amazed that my body ovulated on CD18. I think it usually tries to ovulate around that time but fails, maybe these conceive plus ovulation support tablets pushed my egg over the edge (literally 😆)

@Kay00 thanks for the update on your fertility appointment. I have mine on the 21st and guessing it will be similar. They are supposed to send me another letter 14 days before my appointment but I haven’t received anything yet so don’t know if it’s online.

I’ve emailed them to chase up.

@mrsmacmc thank you! Yes it’s very annoying. Hope the scan results all come back ok. Why do families make comments like that!! I know they mean well and don’t realise but now I’ve been through this I will not make a baby comment ever!!

Just chucking a line in to say I’m still here, reading through all your threads but just nothing to catch up on my end...Waiting for AF2 post patch and she still hasn’t turned up, despite all the typical signs. Sigh. The last time was a 42 day cycle and I’ve hit CD40 today, so bit frustrating. Especially with the cramping and fatigue I had experienced a week ago. Can’t do anything other than wait it out though and trying to just let it be. As annoying as it is!

Sending lots of love to those who are frustrated this month, there’s still 3 weeks left of May though so plenty of time for good news to pop it’s head out from under the rocks. Fingers crossed for you all!

I’ve stayed away from any OPK’s for a while now. I just don’t know when to even start them now with AF keeping me guessing when she may show, so just trying to be relaxed and stay chill. What will be will be!

@Juno231 thank you! I’m in my ‘slow start to AF’ phase where I spot for ages in my short lp before proper AF. I’m still tracking but a lot less seriously like I don’t mind if I miss a day etc. My DH had his repeat SA last week so waiting for those results so we can finally (hopefully) be referred to the fertility specialist. Glad your appointment isn’t too long away. Do you think they’ll discuss IVF potentially or do you think that was meant for the other patient they mixed you up with? I totally agree about the announcement saying how hard it’s been!

@mrsmacmc hilarious, I kinda like embarrassing men about women things, one of my male colleagues said a period was just ‘a little bit of blood once a month’ well he knows all about it now 😂

The flexi hours we were are perfect for apps like that, I just book myself out for a few hours and nobody even asks! Plus working at the council everything is overly politically correct so they’re probs not allowed to ask incase they offend me 😂

@ChinChilly My boss asked what my scan was for (think he assumed I was preggers as we need to show appt letters) I told him it was to check for alien interlopers 😆 Never seen him retreat as quick into his office 🤭

I didn't even think to ask while I was there 😫🙈 only random question was if I get pain in my pelvis 🤷‍♀️ only at ovulation and AF visiting. It was incredibly quiet at the hospital today as I had steadied myself to see bumps & babies ❤️

@Kay00 @Juno231 I will definitely tell people it wasn’t easy when/if i get pregnant, I don’t think miscarriage should be such a taboo thing either, i suppose sometimes struggling to conceive and miscarriage can just be abit too hard to talk about sometimes

@mrsmacmc did they give you any info there and then? Mine told me pretty much everything there and then she said I’ll get the full report from my GP though. I notices the hospital was super clean, although not the department you wanna be in when your struggling ttc...babies and pregnant women everywhere!

Oh yeah wierd thing my sonographer said ‘did you’re GP refer you for retained tissue from the MC’ I was like urmm nope it was pretty early mc and I’ve had 2 periods and negatives test since then but now you have me worried! She didn’t say anthing else 🤔

Thanks @Cams50 😊 I actually just spoke to the doctor. He said if I wasn't pregnant he would test it again as it is a little low, but as I am pregnant then I obviously ovulated and according to the NHS I am in the normal range for where I currently am 🤷🏻‍♀️ So feeling a little more reassured now I guess. Sorry it's been a slow process for you, must be frustrating!

@Kay00 I plan on being honest and open about how long it took, I only heard of friends getting pregnant quickly which just made me sure something was wrong with me and put on so much more stress and anxiety each month it didn't happen.

Evening ladies sorry I've been MIA things were getting on top of me. In a better headspace now and hope to stay there!

Cycle has returned since covid vaccine 💉 never been so glad to see lines on my OPK test strips. CD17 so not much a doing.

Finally had my ultrasound and up the foof scan today and to call GP in 7-10 days for results. Never seen the hospital so clean!

@Juno231 I hope your wounds are healing ok what a harrowing lap!

My outlaws have been outrageous again - nipping DH ear as he 'is 40 this year you know'

@cams50 lovely to hear from you! Where in your cycle are you now? Are you still tracking or dropped that too? My next appointment is 17th of June I think but I don't know what it's for so wouldn't be surprised if it got rescheduled.

@Kay00 I'll do the same - big announcement with how long it took and how difficult it's been. One of my old colleagues asked me the other week about kids and I was honest with her - her response was that omg it took her a year and why does no one talk about it?! Whereas I'd assumed she was a fertile unicorn all this time. Made me feel so much better to hear her admit she'd struggled too.
