@Lovebug06 Well, Tuesday PM and still no sign of AF yet. Still the usual cramping period style, and I did not want to wake up at all this morning so my fatigue is still there too! I took a PT this morning to make sure and it was a BFN, which I totally expected but just wanted to rule that out. So now it’s just a waiting game of when AF will show. Today is CD30 so there’s still a fair few days yet for her to be classed as ‘regular’ so I’m not too downhearted. Oh bless him! It’s totally natural to be nervous so I can only sympathise with how he may be feeling. We almost forget that it affects them quite hard too sometimes I think! I hope you get the answers you want. 😊 Ha, sounds like a typical pooch attitude. Mine loves a fluffy blanket, she claims every bloody one! Haha.

@feliznavidad2 Oh yay, we were almost the same amount of time with our waits. It’s such a weird feeling waiting for that first one knowing that in reality, soon you won’t want AF to show after that! It’s all such a confusing mix of emotions!

@Lovebug06 I’m not sure i enjoyed the whole not tracking tbh! I’m pretty sure ovulation has been and gone over the weekend will BD tonight just incase but my cm is back to creamy so I’m guessing my flood of watery cm over the weekend was the sign. I could definitely drop the temping but i may retreat to OPKs! Glad your enjoying the egg chair, how long have you got to wait until OH SA results?

I think DH is nervous about his results. Seeing as he has dc I'm sure it will be fine. I know you never know so he seems a bit certain it's him for some reason.
Egg chair is great. I'm in it right now 🤣 my dog has taken a liking to it 😁

@springflowers3 good luck. Hopefully it is just where you are first coming off the pill and it will settle down into normal cycles soon. The pill totally messes with our bodies.

Oh I wasn’t aware of that? I think he was checked every 3 months ( they went through several rounds of ivf) but I could be wrong! I suppose we all try to cling to positives don’t we 🙈

After 44 days since stopping Cerazette, I'm finally having some sort of withdrawal bleed. Embarrassingly overjoyed. 😆

@Springflower3 from what I have read sperm quality can really change from month to month, even more so from year to year, so often a guy will be asked to repeat a sperm analysis 3 months after the first to get a better picture.

I am 2 hours into be 'clear liquids only' diet before my hospital procedure tomorrow and i'm already STARVING!! haha!! this is going to be absolute torture!

Awww @Kay00 I really really really hope that either nothing is wrong and you guys have a healthy baby or if there is something, it is easily fixed! Have you just used opk’s? This TTc is like a full time job sometimes! I couldn’t cope with the dehydrating for OPK I just had a headache! I’m really hoping the ovesense is easy to use....
my DP was previously told he produces above average amount of sperm 😳 but that this can affect the quality apparently (this was me googling) he wasn’t actually told that the quality was poor but ye know us women we other think 🤣🤣 xx

@Springflower3 yes, my first, and my partners first. And we haven't had even a sniff of a second line from the 6 ovulation's I have had.

In our CCG (Devon) you have to have been trying a year before fertility referral, or trying 6 months if aged 36 and over, so I have self referred privately to the fertility clinic. I'm hoping nothing is wrong of course, but my ovulations are sketchy at best and it would be good to know if my OH has any issues too!

I have been off the pill 11 months, but properly trying about 9 months, and I think I have only ovulated 6 times in that 11 months. I'm 35, nearly 36, so my next step is the fertility clinic .

Aww @Kay00 thank you so much!!! I’ve 2 kids from a previous relationship so at some stage I was working ok 🤣🤣 I’m just scared as now I am a bit older that’s things will be more difficult! my DP has no kids (although his ex had several miscarriages god love her) so I’m assuming he is grand in that respect!

@Springflower3 Don't be too scared, I think it is likely you will ovulate on your next cycle, but if you don't then having a record will be important if you ever need to speak with a doctor about it. Its always a bit of a bumpy ride when we first come off the pill, hopefully the road will smooth out for you soon

Nothing much to report my end, just finished my break through bleed, don’t think I ovulated between coming off the pill and bleeding as I just got flashing smileys! Gonna start using OvuSense tonight but I’m so nervous!! Is anyone else using theirs? I’m scared that it will show I’m not ovulating as I didn’t prior to break thru bleed! Xx

@Flowers222 I think it only delays mine by a couple of days and folic acid on its own makes me feel quite sick so I’m not sure whats best to do 🤔

I literally have no way of tracking this month, I can normally see what’s going on with my RHR but since I’m back in the gym I’m guessing its not that reliable 🙄

@Lovebug06 I actually realised I’m on CD29, after a total miscalculation. Oops! So that’s expecting her to come tomorrow then, rather than Wednesday. I too hope she doesn’t come, but I have period style cramping and massive fatigue this morning and tonight. Weirdly though I haven’t had tender breasts this time, they’re absolutely fine in comparison to my last cycle so tbh I can’t see it being a BFP unfortunately. Will obviously keep you all posted but all I want to do is sleep, eat and cry. You’re so right...For Mother Nature putting them both as the same symptoms needs to have a strong word with herself! On another note, I hope your egg chair is good! 😂 Sounds good that your progesterone levels were high and that OH is understanding your feelings a little more. It’s always helpful when the men get our emotions even just a little bit.

Well, I've been lurking quietly as I've nothing much to report. Am CD93 after coming off the pill. I would never have believed it! I'm fit and healthy. Or so I thought! I have good and bad days but am trying not to let it consume me.

Last time I posted, I said I was getting fairly dark OPKs. I then did a CB digital and got a proper smiley face! I actually cried and did a little dance. I've read that you can still get a smiley and not ovulate but I'm hoping I've had enough bad luck already with the post-pill problems. So let's hope my body has kick started itself.

We DTD the morning of the smiley, and a couple of days before that, but then nothing for 4 days after the smiley. DP had man-flu and my seduction techniques fell flat. I'm still trying to maintain the illusion of spontaneity even if I'm secretly reading everything going so I stopped short of jumping him.

So I guess this is what they call the 2ww. Perhaps I'll be one of the lucky ones and get a BFP, although to be honest, I'd be over the moon with AF. If it's neither of those, I'll be rather upset!

Have started fertility acupuncture and have spent a small fortune on zita west vitamins. I would rattle if you shook me.

So I shall keep you updated! I'll do the thyroid home test if nothing arrives in the next week or so and then start to bother my GP.

@chillysT I hope AF doesn't come. Ah mother nature is bloody cruel. I mean who puts period and pregnancy as the same symptoms! And waiting it out is horrible, hope your okay and the next few days aren't too bad for you.

I’ve been quiet but lurking in the background, just caught up on all your messages and sending love to those who need it. Seems a lot of lows over the past few days, but we are all here to vent and lend and ear so really hoping you all get the answers you need soon. 🥰

I too have nothing to report. Just waiting on AF over the next few days, now I’m CD28. I’ve had major cramps, very much like period pain cramps the last 2 days and today I’ve been needing to poop (sorry TMI) more which is usual for my tummy around my period, so I feel she’s on her way. I just hope she comes before the 42 day cycle I waited last month for my first bleed post contraception. I did ovulate CD15 though first month after I had my AF off the patch, so I’m still giving it until the end of this week. My money is pegged on Wednesday which would make it a nice round 30 day cycle but as we all know, Mother Nature is a cruel mistress and likes to keep us guessing so who knows! I’m eating the place out of house and home though this week so need anything that can curb that hunger! Hahaha.

@ChinChilly it does seem odd. Maybe the seven seas tablets have delayed your ovulation a little. When I started taking pregnacare my cycles reduced from 75 days to 45 so I thought they were helping. Maybe it was just my body getting used to not being on the pill and they were delaying ovulation. I am just taking folic acid and conceive plus ovulation support now and will see what happens.

@Flowers222 funny you should say that i think my ovulation was pushed back a few days since I started seven seas 🤔

I'm on CD10 so will start OPKs again soon I suppose. This month I started SOY ISO on CD3 but ditched them after I had a sleepless night of heart palpitations and headaches... they're just not worth it.

So this cycle im just taking Conceive+ Fertility support with Conceive+ Ovulation support and I managed to convince my OH to start taking a supplement, so he is taking Conceive + Motility support.

I have my first fertility clinic appointment on 6th May, so i'm gearing up for that. I probably won't have ovulated before then, but it would be nice if I ovulated this weekend coming as my OH and I will be on a little mini break in Cornwall

Sorry I have been away for a few days, life has become crazy busy; I have been prepping for my colonoscopy/gastroscopy on Weds, I'm now on a low fibre diet, and isolating after completing a 35K walk yesterday!
