My BMI is only 23 but my body fat % is way over 30% so I was told to bring that down. I was only doing 30 minutes of exercise day (some dumbbell stuff, some dance classes with the occasional longer walk) and I lost 5lb and 3% body fat over about 6 weeks but then they changed their mind and said I could be doing too much so I’ve just stopped anything high impact and only doing walks and yoga in the hope I can still lose a bit more fat but not affect my chances @TheDaydreamBelievers

TheDaydreamBelievers · 30/04/2021 13:39

@AllyCat31 my understanding is that exercise is only an inhibitor if super intense? Whereabouts are you sitting at the moment? My BMI is 28 and Id like to get it down to below 25

AllyCat31 · 30/04/2021 13:34

@TheDaydreamBelievers my friend is starting ivf soon (she’s a lesbian so using a spent donor so she can have a baby with her partner) and she’s been told to do the same. I was trying to lose some of the lockdown lb with some success but then got told by the GP my exercise might be affecting my ability to create hormones so I’ve had to ease off... I’m not sure we can win. I got an Apple Watch for Christmas and the fitness+ app is great if you need some inspiration and it’s free for at least a month

TheDaydreamBelievers · 30/04/2021 13:28

I hear you @AllyCat31! Im also trying to lose some weight as Im overweight and hoping that will help

AllyCat31 · 30/04/2021 13:26

Thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers I think I’ll start taking some (just in the spirit of throwing everything at it and hoping something works) even if it doesn’t have an effect on the timing of ovulation. Still hopeful I’ll ovulate earlier than normal with the soy iso - 72 day cycles just leave us with so few chances to try

TheDaydreamBelievers · 30/04/2021 11:30

(that the temping is so crystal clear)

TheDaydreamBelievers · 30/04/2021 11:30

Thanks @MissC07 - Im sorry it was a BFN but honestly I am so fecking jealous of that chart!!!

MissC07 · 30/04/2021 11:21

@ChinChilly Good luck with your scans on Tuesday!

@TheDaydreamBelievers sorry I haven't had cervix cramps before. I hope O happens for you soon though as it sounds promising 🤞

@TheHotelCalifornia Hope O also happens for you soon too and the soy has worked and you get a static smiley!

@Moocher90 Hope you get some answers soon. You aren't out until AF arrives!

I'm 12dpo today and caved and did a test this morn which was BFN. So I'm just sitting here waiting for AF to arrive now, I suppose the only thing I can take from this cycle is that I ovulated earlier than usual. Hope everyone is doing ok!

@AllyCat31 to my knowledge Cq10 does not speed up ovulation. it improves egg quality but only over many months.

If you are taking a general prenatal it might already have some in it!

AllyCat31 · 30/04/2021 11:14

Hey has anyone tried using co q10? I’ve used soy this month (cd3-7) currently cd19 and still waiting to ovulate (last month it was Cd35) and wondered if anyone has found q10 helped them?

Moocher90 · 29/04/2021 21:17

CD26 today and last cycle I started AF at CD27 but can go as far as CD30/31 from looking at previous cycles. I don’t think I am pregnant anyway as my RHR is dropping. This ovulation has been weird and not so clear as last cycle. If AF hasn’t shown up by CD30 I will test but I don’t have much hope. Not sure whether starting Levo has altered my ovulation as my ovulation was slightly earlier on the cycle prior to me starting levo and was clearer to see and I got a peak and ovulated whereas this cycle I don’t think it was so quick. On Weds I’ve been on medication 1 month.

Forgot to post an update about myself although there's not a lot going on AS PER, CD18, hoping ovulation happens soon. I took soy iso CD2-6 and have had 3 days of flashing smileys now. Really hope I don't get 15 like the last cycle. Pray for me girls xxx

@Chacha2021 bless you, not to worry you're welcome to join us! Sorry I can't help with the bleeding but I'm really sorry you're having to deal with that, it sounds rubbish :( I'd say just keep pushing your GP to get your colposcopy booked in because it's not fair to keep you waiting this long regardless of Covid. I really hope you get some answers and please know that you're not alone, all of us on this thread are dealing with one thing or the other as a result of our cycles and hormones so please chat to us if you need someone to talk to xxxx

Has anyone had experience of cervix cramps, or any info about where this corresponds to in a cycle?

I'm getting them today, CD48. No ovulation detected, a few sets of random spotting but I'd hardly even call it spotting, more like a tinge!

TheHotelCalifornia · 29/04/2021 20:43

@Juno231 oh my goodness lovely it sounds like you've really been through the mill. Bless you, fancy her getting you bloody mixed up I'd have been livid! When I was in hospital for my ERPC there was sooooo much loud talking about me in the corridors, what is that about!? I was like um I can literally hear every word you're saying you might as well just be doing it in here. Anyway, great news that they were able to remove the endometriosis from your ovary - did they say anything more about that? That wasn't something that you knew about was it? I hope you're feeling okay now and resting at home with OH waiting on you hand and foot. Sending lots of love xxx

@Kay00 so frustrating having to pee and not being able to haha! Glad your gastroscopy went well but sorry to hear you'll have to go back in for your colonoscopy. When will you get results do you recon? Likewise I hope you're chilling out with your feet up and looking after yourself xxxxxx

Hi all, have been lurking trying to get to know everyone!

No real news here, although my ovusense detected ovulation on Sunday which for cycle 1 post pill I was pleased about, particularly as it was day 14 and I've never had a 28 day cycle in my life (pcos!) Hoping it's not a fluke and that getting my weight down while on the pill is going to have had an effect on my hormones.

We've not tried very hard this month as wanted to see what cycle was doing first so not expecting a pregnancy and doubt we'll get one next month as if I ovulate on day 14 again we'll be in a hotel room with dd1 for fertile window so guess I'll be waiting until June! 🤷

MissM94 · 29/04/2021 12:54

@ChinChilly literally 😂😂 I'm really light haired so it's not really noticeable but no point doing them.. keep us warm in the cold evenings! 😂

ChinChilly · 29/04/2021 12:52

@MissM94 omg my legs only get done when they start to look like OHs 😂 and as for the toes well they only get done when the flip flops come out 😂

MissM94 · 29/04/2021 12:49

@ChinChilly 😂😂😂 I know exactly what you mean I've just had someone looking at my legs for vein surgery so I had to shave my legs and toes this morning! Them fuckers haven't been shaved for weeks 😂

ChinChilly · 29/04/2021 12:49

@Juno231 nicest foof procedure 😂 that made me lol in the gym 😂 how you feeling now?

Juno231 · 29/04/2021 12:47

@ChinChilly on the bright side it's quite a nice scan lol. As in it's not uncomfortable, there's usually mood lighting for privacy etc. Def the nicest foof procedure I've had!

ChinChilly · 29/04/2021 12:45

@MissM94 it looks like I’ll be spending bank holiday preparing my foof 😂😂 i know they don’t care but I’d be mortified! I was fully expecting to be waiting until July for a scan

MissM94 · 29/04/2021 12:26

Hope everyone's doing okay!
I've got my second jab on Wednesday so I'm going to see if they say anything about ttc, if not I'll ask.. see what they say!

MissM94 · 29/04/2021 12:23

@ChinChilly bloody hell, not give you a lot of time have they 😂 atleast bank hol Monday you can just chill to prepare! Good that you've got your scan app, have a good look under the hood.. fingers crossed it's all good news 🤞🏽

ChinChilly · 29/04/2021 11:33

Oh god my appointment for my ‘pelvis and transvaginal’ scan just popped through the post, it’s only for next Tuesday, nothing like a bit of notice from the NHS, same days as my blood test....Tuesday is gonna be a fun day
