So I’m due AF In 4 days I tested yesterday which would be 5 days before with a clear blue early detection and seen a very faint line.. that was testing about 3pm took another this morning which is 4 days before at 7 am and got the very thin blue line.... but it is darker but very thin? I am sooo tired and boobs so sore and i feel ‘travel sick’ and have done for 3 days which is why I tested I’ve totally got my hopes up but have read lots about evaporation lines!

Hi @Laurxxo. My period was due on Tues took a clear blue on thurs and got what I thought was a positive result turns out it was a very cruel evap line they are not colourless they do infact have colour I was 5 days late for af was just about to update here I have started spotting today I had also tried other tested prior to spotting so wasnt pregnant just late I'm not saying you aren't pregnant u could infact be i would wait 3 days and test with a pink dye test as I think they are more reliable I will never test with blue dye again to avoid heartbreak you can upload a pic in 48hrs if u are a new member I have attached a pic of my evap line for you hope yours is not and is a BFP babysit to you...xx

Hi I’m new here.

I’m 14DPO, and I’m due on today but doesn’t look like that’s anytime soon, I’ve took some tests (clear blue) they’ve come up with a faint line.
Someone said it may be a evap line? But they are colorless ain’t they?

And I’ve felt my cervix yesterday/today and it’s very soft,high and closed. And I’ve been having pregnancy symptoms.
Sore boobs
Feeling sick.
Stomach pains
Back pains

But done a digital one yesterday and it come back negative I’ve had 3 clear blue come back with faint so I’m confused can anyone help me?

Also it’s not letting me upload the pictures :(

@ara212 was yours a thin line too? 'Its the thin part that's got me second guessing..x @Bundaberg84 thank you I keep looking at it cant help myself if it wasnt so thin I would be excited but not getting my Hope's up till I do another test in morning..x

I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone is still on it I'm in a similar position not sure if this is an evaporation line or positive read results within 5mins thanks dont want to get my Hope's up incase it's not my af is 3 days late..x

Took me a whIle to find it, the section is called Birth Clubs now, I'm sure it used to be ante-natal clubs, but it was a while ago now, perhaps my memory is playing tricks on me!

The women on the thread I was on for both my DC were a huge support, and with my youngest, the thread evolved into a Facebook group. Several years later, we still chat all the time as our DC have grown. It's a really special thing IMO.

I keep googling info and they say thin lines can be evap lines but would be very coincidental to have a faint like yesterday and a thin line today? Another one tomorrow morning it is 😅
Evap lines don't have colour, just a grey / damp white look to them.

Congratulations! I just knew on my second baby too, and tested before AF was due.

First baby, I also found out in April and he was born in December. People assume he misses out because his birthday is near Christmas, but it couldn't be further from the truth! Because it's Christmas we always see lots of family we don't see at other times of the year, they all know it's his birthday and he gets spoiled rotten!

Do you know about the anti-natal threads on here OP? There should be a December one by now I expect.

@needadvice54321 Yeah last period was the 9th of March so I’d say December! Exciting times! Wasn’t expecting to feel this sicky this early tho! The symptoms were so obvious AF not due till Tuesday but i tested Thursday I just knew! X

If Clearblue were selling pregnancy tests with evap lines that strong, they would be getting sued all over the place.

I think it’s because the 2nd pic the line is so thin that I was convinced it was evap line although I had dipped it and checked within 3 mins! Fingers and toes crossed!
