Hi everyone! How are we all doing?
I'm 9DPO today and for the last 2-3 days I've been feeling very nauseous. I do tend to get a little nausea just before af but I feel particularly 'sicky' today. Just wondering if I'm being far too optimistic this early 🙈

DinkyGT · 26/08/2021 14:45

Hi all,

Not been on for quite a while. Cycle number 6 for us now - still not much happening at the moment but I think I have just ovulated so TWW lies ahead.

I would just like a few opinions please if possible ...

I am due my second covid vaccination tomorrow but last time I had it it completely messed up my cycle and I ended up not ovulating at all so that obviously was incredibly frustrating (I track bbt so am pretty clued up on my cycle usually).
I have been away this last week and my bbt tracking has been all over the place due to not being able to temp consistently etc and therefore I am sort of sure I've ovulated but not 100%. If I have the jab tomorrow and it messes everything up again for me I will just go berserk but obviously I know that having the jab is V important too. What would you do? Xx

snoopy8 · 10/08/2021 22:02

How's it going @Dyra?

snoopy8 · 06/08/2021 22:01

@Dyra that does sound positive! I really hope you can get a scan soon. Spotting is pretty normal I think, but I have everything crossed that it's all ok

@WaitingForEgg I'm sorry it's taking a while and I wish I had some advice. I am hoping someone else can come along with something helpful to say. But sending you a hug.

I sent my DH out for some tests. Did 2, both negative. Can't see how I've tested too early really as I am past my due on date. Must just be an odd month cycle wise. Sigh.

Dyra · 06/08/2021 21:40

Ty for thinking of me @snoopy8. FX you might have just tested a little early and AF is not on her way!

Test lines are great, but I've virtually no symptoms and I keep spotting pink. Having a few cramps as well. Trying to organise a scan through work to have a look, but nobody could do it today. Hopefully Monday I'll have better luck. Assuming nothing happens over the weekend.

WaitingForEgg · 06/08/2021 21:26

Hi all

I’m still about

Still not pregnant
We are at about a year now. We have moved in July (to be closer to my family) and I’ve changed job (lighter workload)

This month has still been pretty stressful with the house move, but I’m really thinking now what to do

Ideally I do need to shift a bit of weight
DHs semen is fine
I do seem to be ovulating

What are people doing to help things along?

snoopy8 · 06/08/2021 19:36

Any update from you @Dyra?

snoopy8 · 06/08/2021 19:36

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well. I'm currently a couple of dates late (usually my cycle is quite short c. 28 days. I'm currently 31-32 days (so not mega late) but really thought I was pregnant. I just did a test and it said Not Pregnant.

I've had slight spotting today and yesterday, but not like normal start to AF. More of a brown colour and perhaps slightly thicker if that make sense. Usually when AF visits it's pretty heavy v quickly and always bright red.

I know the obvious thing to do is get some more tests, but I can't until tomorrow, so just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?

One last thing to note. When I did the test, and before it said Not Pregnant, it flashed up with the egg timer, but also the book, which indicates I've taken the test wrong/or there's a fault. I would assume that symbol would stay though rather than then say the outcome of the test if there really was an issue with it.

I don't know! I'm prob clutching at straws here and AF will arrive tomorrow Confused

Dyra · 18/07/2021 22:09

Thank you! Not going to lie, I did another this afternoon (I have a huuuuggggeeeee stash). The line is still faint, but was appeared within 3 minutes this time. I'll try to contain myself and wait a few days now, but that stash...

CrackingTheWhip · 18/07/2021 21:15

Ooh, I’ll keep everything crossed for you @Dyra. When are you next testing?

Dyra · 18/07/2021 08:12

It's still quite faint, and appearing after 3 minutes (

CrackingTheWhip · 14/07/2021 18:21

@Dyra hi, sorry I’ve only just checked as I was burning myself out with it being constantly on my mind!

I did test on the Sunday and it was a clear negative, my AF started on the Monday though so that’s something. Currently CD9. According to Ovia my fertile window starts on the 24th and I go away without DP on the 24th 🙃 so probably just enjoying this month 😁 and maybe next month too (DS1 was born in May, don’t want another one in May!)… I won’t lie, I’m gutted that I have to keep waiting but maybe my body needs a few more weeks to relax after the pill.

Nurse85 · 12/07/2021 17:33

Afternoon ladies. Sadly no strong line and AF showers her face Thursday eve, ended Sunday so only short altho I know I'm out, not even going to check. I'm giving myself a break from trying now, am an emotional wreck. Good luck to you all, crossing everything for positive tests xx

Dyra · 12/07/2021 11:03

So sorry to hear you've had another chemical @dunkedbiscuit. Try to be kind to yourself.

@Nurse85 hope you're doing ok as well.

CD28 now. Tests are still BFN, so I think I'm out for this month. Come down with a stinking cold to boot.

Frazzledgal · 12/07/2021 10:43

@dunkedbiscuit I'm so sorry. It's just horribly hard all of this isn't it, wish I could say something helpful. Sending you tonnes of hugs. I hope you are being nice to you and minding yourself xxxxx

dunkedbiscuit · 10/07/2021 17:43

Hey, sad update from me unfortunately- I'm currently going through a chemical, 2 months after my previous loss 😞 feeling a bit done with it all if I'm honest. hoping it's a better month for everyone else x

Frazzledgal · 09/07/2021 17:56

Thanks @Nurse85. I'm hoping you had a lovely strong line after that the last day. I hope you're all doing good ladies. Happy Friday vibes to you all xxxx

Nurse85 · 06/07/2021 23:43

@Dyra thank you although the cramps that started an hour ago could explain why it's so faint.

@snoopy8 I'm sorry af arrived. Sending hugs!

@frazzledgal it's so soul destroying and you're definitely not alone! Don't suffer in silence you can voice how you're feeling here with no judgement. Ive got to that point now where i cant take the dissapointment/heartache each month. If Af arrives I'm going to give myself a break and no longer try until I'm stronger emotionally. Fx it happens for you soon x

Frazzledgal · 06/07/2021 22:24

@dunkedbiscuit I'm so sorry that you had a miscarriage. You and all the other ladies that have gone through that are so strong... Sending loads of

Dyra · 06/07/2021 22:01

Did you take another test in the end @CrackingTheWhip?

So sorry AF arrived for you @snoopy8

@dunkedbiscuit No idea when (let alone if) I ovulated this month, but I had sore boobs and was feeling nauseous yesterday. CD22 today, so I tested, and got a BFN. It's still early days though. AF is expected any time in the next 10-18 days. GL to you.

Good luck @Nurse85. Fx you get a much stronger line over the next few days.

@Frazzledgal TTC is awful, especially when it's taking ages and everyone around you seems to pregnant. You are far from alone. My reaction to hearing my sister was pregnant while I was TTC#1 was to burst into tears. Not because I was happy for her (I was), but because I had been trying for over a year at that point and it just seemed like it was never going to happen. In fact the green eyed monster continued to rise up every time I encountered a pregnant woman right up until I finally got pregnant myself. God I hated myself for hating them. I think the only reason I'm not quite so bad this time is because it's only been 5 months. Plus I now know what was wrong with me and what it took to finally successfully conceive. Retracing those steps is keeping me surprisingly grounded, despite 5(! - We're not even that big of a team!) colleagues being pregnant. Wishing you all the luck that it happens for you soon.

dunkedbiscuit · 06/07/2021 22:01

@Frazzledgal oh, yeah that sounds spendy 🙁 I was hoping the GP would be more helpful than that!

We're on cycle 7 now, we've had one miscarriage in that time and it's all starting to feel a bit desperate now

Frazzledgal · 06/07/2021 21:57

GP offered to refer us to private specialist, but I guess I thought we'd try for a few more months before we go down that (v expensive) road. GP didn't do any blood tests or anything, which I was surprised by Shock, but I didn't request any either. Wasn't sure how much they do before referral Hmm

dunkedbiscuit · 06/07/2021 21:48

Have you spoken to the GP at all @Frazzledgal? There are a few things they can check I think once you've been trying a year?

Frazzledgal · 06/07/2021 21:40

I hope you're feeling a bit better @snoopy8 Flowers

Frazzledgal · 06/07/2021 21:36

Thanks @dunkedbiscuit, big hug right back at you
