Hi everyone! We are currently trying for baby #3 This is cycle 2 and CD5. Period last week was shorter and lighter than normal, really confused me as its never been like that, did 2 tests but both BFN so trying again this month :) Not putting too much pressure on it, just going with the flow and if it happens it happens, trying not to stress too much about it 🙈 anyone else TTC this month? Hoping I can chat in here with people doing the same ❤

@Mumofboys20122017 wow, definitely in the same boat then 😂 I’m rubbish at being chill! I think I’ll get some of the clear blue for next month and the cheapies and see how I go. Last 2 were conceived first try but obviously I was a bit younger then so I’m TRYING not to get my hopes up! Baby dust to you too. ❤️

Hi @Onehotmess sorry missed your post yesterday!! I'm also TTC #3! No judgement in here 🤗 i also have a DS age 9 and a DS 4 next month, and have decided we want #3 lol

I'm currently CD13 did an OPK this morning and its been the darkest its been yet from the whole 4 I've done 😂 logged it in the app and its saying its high and its also predicted my ovulation day to he today so DTD this morning and will check it again later too 🙈 didn't fully read up on or look in to OPKs but bought some out of curiosity and taking it chill this month and if I need to, will look into it all properly for the next cycle!

@Onehotmess haha maybe so but what’s life without being little hectic!

This is my first time using OPK’s and I’ve found it so interesting - my cycle last month was 30 days ish so I was expecting a few days til
Ovulation but I think my cycle is shorter this month so I’m glad I’ve done it - clear blue is super easy, but I will continue with the cheap OPK’s to make sure I don’t miss another surge 😊

@tuxedocat yea I was looking at other people's pictures to see what it should look like lol! Aw at least they're getting darker 🥰 aw that's perfect, the more chilled the better I say 😂

Not much plans for Easter here, an Easter egg hunt with the kids, dinner and walk :) how about you?

On a whim I tested with a cheapie OPK and it’s positive! Tested the clearblue and ive got my static smiley 🥳

Also I’m 39 and only my closest friend knows the ‘plan!’ As I think some might judge me! Oh and my hubby knows obvs! 😂

TTC #3 😱 never thought I would be saying that 😂 DS 9 and DD 6 so I thought we were probably done. I’m in ‘fertile window’ (ov from tracker is 5th) so DTD every day until then! 🤪😬 hubby will think it’s his birthday 😂😂 where are we all in the cycle? X

@Mumofboys20122017 that’s right - the test line will start to get darker the closer you get and I believe it has to be much darker than the control line but I’ve read it can depend on each persons LH levels. My cheapies have steadily gotten darker but they’re still faint. I’ve been testing am and pm 🤣
I still feel quite chilled and I’m doing it out of curiosity at this point. I’m hopeful the progression just shows my body is hopefully working as it should 🙌🏻

Any plans for Easter ladies?

Oh yayyy!! Great news! Thats handy with the smiley face, seems easier than the other OPKs lol so I sat saying I'll just wing it this month and think about OPKs next month, but curiosity got the better of me and I amazon primed some didn't I 😂 they arrived today so I did one after work because my app is saying I'm in the days before ovulation now so I did it and I've no clue really what I'm looking at 😂 it came up with the control line and a faint test line so I logged it on that premom app and its saying low? So I presume it'll get darker as the days go on then maybe? I'll just keep using them to see anyway! Lol

Also I'm actually CD9 today dunno why I wrote the wrong day on my first post lol, going by my app this is the best week for me to be DTD and ovulating on Saturday, so plenty of that and fingers crossed 🤗🤞

TTC #1 on cycle #3. Ive stage 1 endometriosis on the bladder and bowel. Not sure how long my cycles are yet as came off the pill in December so still regulating.

Thanks guys! I’m keeping all my fingers and toes crossed! Going that I have a slightly shorter cycle I’m hoping O date is not any later than tomorrow. I’ve been taking folic acid aswell. I don’t seem to have any signs or symptoms when I am ovulating either.

If it doesn’t happen this time I’ll definitely need to stock up on the test kits next month!

@Rudyroo hey! Haha its so hard to relax isn't it? 🙈 I'm CD 5 so we aren't too far apart! Oh no 6 days late! Gets your hopes up! Oh thats good! Mine are usually a lot heavier which is why it freaked me out a bit, but will see how this month goes, and if nothing, will consider using OPKs next month and make sure all is working OK haha.

@Sparkles512 hey! Of course! Fingers crossed that your blood tests come back with some positive news 🤞❤

We have been TTC #1 since August.

I have very irregular cycles and my doctor doesn't think I am ovulating so I am waiting for some blood tests 🤞

Hello all! TTC #2. DD is almost 15 months. Managed to conceive last time 3rd cycle of trying properly (using OPK and generally being obsessed about it!) I thought TTC 2nd time around I might be more relaxed about it but apparently not! Haha.

I'm on CD2 just now so looking forward to going for it this month. This will be my third cycle trying again. Last week my period was 6 days late which totally threw me!

As for the light periods, I wouldn't worry too much about that. When I was trying to conceive my first my periods were so light I went to the GP about it. Obviously didn't stop me conceiving so I don't think it matters as long as you are ovulating.

TTC baby number 2 ! Number 1 took us 4 months and we are about to go onto month 4 this month so fingers crossed. So frustrating not knowing when it will happen. Good luck to you all 🤞❤️

I think the best time to have sex is the 5 days leading up to ovulation and the day of ovulation, so if Tuesday is your ovulation date, you may not have missed the boat DTD on Friday and Saturday 🤗 sperm can live in fertile CM for up to 5 days, so I would say you aren't out the game yet, fingers crossed for you!! 🤞 Aww I know how you feel, it can be mentally exhausting TTC when everyone around you seems to be getting pregnant! But positive vibes and lots of baby dust sent your way ✨ 💗

Fingers crossed for this month, but if it doesn't happen, you can always have more fun DTD next month 🤗
