Hi again,

Thank you so much for your kind words of support, it really means a lot- thank you for thinking about me.

So a rollercoaster of a morning... the GP said to ring the EPU to book a scan, which I did but they were so unhelpful and kept saying 'I don't know why you had HCG done, we don't recommend that' Hmm and that they won't scan me until nearer 7 weeks. So scan is booked for next Wednesday- a whole week to wait. The nurse on the phone said she disagreed that it wasn't enough of a rise because they hadn't been done exactly 48 hours apart. Now maths is not my strong point but even I can tell that after 4 days it should be more than it was.

Then my GP rang again to say try a different EPU, she rang them herself (she is so lovely) to get me in sooner but they have stopped all their 6 week scans for recurrent miscarriage because of Coronavirus.

So finally I've got another HCG booked for tomorrow eve and the GP said it might still be ok, that they can sometimes have little growth spurts with HCG. Plus it's really reassuring that my progesterone was good. Results Friday morning when she's back in.

DH is really sad and stressed and I think this is all really taking quite a toll on our marriage. So another thing to worry about and now I feel like I've got to try and manage it all by myself and hide the worst of it so that doesn't end up going down the drain as well. Feeling so so shit and hopeless. Only 1% of couples have 3 in a row. So just feeling really unlucky as well if this one is ending too. 💔

@glowingtwig I'm really sorry to hear your news! Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones that it works out okay for xxx

@AMS19 thanks for getting back to me! I imagine that was such a difficult loss

@Sleeeeeepy

@yepstilltrying that sounds horrible! Im really sorry you had to go through that. I don't think I could cope waiting 3 months. I'm at the I've accepted this and I just really want to move on now point

@PlantMummy87 it was 25ml or whatever the measurement is. Sorry to hear it took so long for you! But I'm delighted to hear your news gives me a bit of hope💗

Just off the phone with EPU and they said to wait another week and test again. Felt horrible because the midwife was complaining about how busy they are 🙄 I have gotta put my big girl pants on though just having a cranky day today as I really thought this one was going to be as quick as my last ones

PlantMummy87 · 23/03/2021 11:38

Also thanks @AMS19 for starting up this new thread 💕

PlantMummy87 · 23/03/2021 11:38

@glowingtwig I'm so sorry to hear that. Have everything crossed for you lovely. Sending you so much love xxx

@angc30 sorry as @AMS19 said I think that is still a positive. Definitely phone up EPU. It took me 7 weeks to get negatives on sensitive tests. Do you know the sensitivity of the test you took? Really hoping it isn't as long for you x

@SuzieDeLaTour I'm sorry to hear AF got you. Hoping that this is the lucky cycle for you lovely💕

Thanks for the comments on line progression for me. Starting to feel like it is all real, especially as my symptoms have definitely ramped up today. The brain fog for me is unreal right now so I'm sorry if my responses don't always make sense.

Quinn26 · 23/03/2021 11:27

@glowingtwig I'm sorry to hear that :( I really have my fingers crossed for you that you are in the lucky group x

yepstilltrying · 23/03/2021 10:35

@glowingtwig oh I'm so sorry to hear that, really hope it goes on to be ok x

AMS19 · 23/03/2021 09:57

@cupcakesandglitter yeah I've been trying since January 🙄 this is my 4th cycle post MVA

@glowingtwig oh sweetheart ❤❤ I'm so sorry. I'm keeping everything firmly crossed for you. Come on little one, keep fighting. I'm sorry you're probably feeling terrible. If there is anything any of us can do please let me know. Sending so much love xx

@glowingtwig sending lots of love and hugs. Like @SuzieDeLaTour says I hope you’re in the group that it goes on to be ok. Please be kind to yourself and take some time to relax if you can or maybe even some walks to clear the head as these periods of time where you have to wait are just so overwhelming on your body and mind xxx

Seasalt1984 · 23/03/2021 09:36

@glowingtwig I'm so sorry you've had this news this morning, my heart really goes to you. Will keep fingers crossed early scan may show something different. We'll all be here for you xxx

SuzieDeLaTour · 23/03/2021 09:31

@glowingtwig oh my darling girl I’m so sorry to hear this. I feel heartbroken for you just reading your words. I really pray that you will fall into the group your doctor said - those who go on to be ok ❤️ When is your scan? Can you take some time off work? I think we all wish we could just give you the biggest hug xxx

glowingtwig · 23/03/2021 09:19

Hi ladies,

It's not looking like good news over here I'm afraid. The GP called with the third set of HCG results and over 4 days it's only gone up by 600. So definitely not a good enough rise and looking like an 'unviable' pregnancy, even though my progesterone was good on the last one. She said she has seen a few which have ended up ok after this sort of thing but I don't think it's likely.

So now I have to have a scan in a few days when I'll be 6 weeks to see what that shows and then probably an ERPC so they can at least send the tissue off for testing to give me more of a picture to take to Prpf Regan when I next see her.

But at the moment I'm just sitting in my work's office and I'm heartbroken. I really thought it might be ok this time. 💔

yepstilltrying · 23/03/2021 09:18

@angc30 Definitely get in touch with them. I had that after my MC and after two rounds of medical management. They fobbed me off for a about three months until I pushed for a blood test and D&C and then they said they had found something that was still stuck in there. It went straight negative after that. So I'd def call.

Sleeeeeepy · 23/03/2021 09:15

Sorry @angc30 but that is still positive to me. Mine went down to something like that but I still needed another round of management. I'd recommend getting in touch with them ASAP, I hope it goes OK x

cupcakesandglitter · 23/03/2021 09:05

Oh that's a good sign I guess @AMS19 what's your plan? Sorry I'm not up to speed properly yet - are you TTC this cycle?

AMS19 · 23/03/2021 08:59

@cupcakesandglitter I had some more today! And definitely feeling very horny. My body needs to calm the hell down, splash its face with cold water and wait patiently 🙄

AMS19 · 23/03/2021 08:58

Morning @angc30 really sorry lovely but to me thats definitely positive. I'd give them a call. My hcg took around 7 weeks to get to less than 1, but I was 11+1 when I had my mva xx

Hey all! I've been keeping my eye on the old thread just waiting for AF to come so we can start again. So happy to see some good news and heartbroken for the bad news. Can I ask for a favour get your eyes for a sec?

I'm in the opposite of a tww but still a tww 🤢. EPU told me to test in fortnight to make sure I get a negative hcg test. That was this morning. Would you say this is positive? They said to ring if it's still positive, should be ringing them?

So flipping frustrating because I know if this was post 1st AF I'd be over the moon and think it was a good sign.

Recent MC - New cycles & trying again Thread 2
cupcakesandglitter · 23/03/2021 07:40

Thanks for the new thread @AMS19 I had some EWCM with mine too on the last day... but that was it, so not sure what it was. Could it just be random?

@PlantMummy87 fantastic progression, keeping everything crossed for you x

@KJLM I'm the same, I'd be induced early and only have a small slot to conceive in time for this year now ☹️

My hormones still haven't settled and I keep getting irrationally sad and angry at myself - all of my OPKs have been positive/almost positive, so my hormones are still whacko. I just want to ovulate and go again and keep looking forward, but it's so hard to when I just don't know what I'm doing ☹️

DMT1982 · 23/03/2021 07:31

@Sleeeeeepy this is a very lucky thread full of lovely ladies xx

Neady1980 · 22/03/2021 22:52

Thanks @AMS19 for new thread. Just catching up.
@Pettylamby I'm sure everything will be fine and it's just implantation.
I'm cd9 and honestly I've never felt as good. My MC was the end of January and never thought I'd be back to exercising and enjoying life again. I'm having a more relaxed approach this month and honestly myself and the OH are actually enjoying enjoying the closeness again.
Hope everyone is keeping well

glowingtwig · 22/03/2021 22:13

@Pettylamby photos are being weird but what it says is 'the majority of women who experience bleeding in early pregnancy go on to have a normal pregnancy'. Then advises a scan for peace of mind.

I hope it has all settled now.

Sleeeeeepy · 22/03/2021 21:52

Thanks @DMT1982 It was just such a slog getting back to something like normality I'll take the small wins. I'm hoping this is a lucky thread for all of us xx

DMT1982 · 22/03/2021 20:42

@Sleeeeeepy of course you can, all are welcome.
You sound very positive after everything you’ve been through which is great. Hoping your cycle gets back on track and you have a sticky bean soon xx

Sleeeeeepy · 22/03/2021 20:29

Hi ladies can I jump on?

I'm having my first AF since MMC early Jan at what would have been 11 weeks, then repeated medical management which didn't work very well.

Feeling positive now though, I had a CP so must be ovulating, and although my LH was really high for weeks it's now very low as it should be. Fingers crossed for a normal cycle and hopefully something that sticks!

Cienega · 22/03/2021 20:25

Thank you @AMS19 for the new thread x
Thank you all for the reassurance. Nothing may happen as its still very early to conceive post mc but now that I know Its a possibility I'll be like a mad woman checking for signs for the next couple of weeks!
For now things do seem to be settling in other ways, the spotting has suddenly cleared up and now all I have is a very very light tinge of orange/pink in my cm and a lot less cm today than yesterday.
