Good morning everyone, I hope you are all feeling OK today x
Congratulations @Seasalt1984 that's is so exciting! Xx

I took another hcg test last night and still positive, I'm attaching a pic as I'm really not sure there has been any change in the levels, they all look the same and not getting fainter. The bottom one was taken a week after ercp and the others were closer to two weeks after. The top two were from last night which is closer to three wks after ercp. Will ring the epau this morning and fill them in.
I also took another LH test and it was fairly high but not quite peak, maybe that is the Hcg levels keeping it high.

I am feeling very period like symptoms so I definitely don't think anything happened during ovulation, I'm not overly surprised as with my positive hcg tests and still light bleeding I thought it would be a miracle if I fell pregnant. I was definitely hopeful though 😏

I’m with you on that @AMS19 good plan to enjoy the summer and have a loose idea of when to dtd, but otherwise have fun and live life to the fullest! I did some white water rafting when I got pregnant with my 2nd! Haha so extreme fun is good 😂

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 09:59

Thanks @Jujujuberry thats why after I'm happy my cycles are normalised I'm going to stop tracking over the summer so I can jsut enjoy summer and not worry about it. I think the pressure is too much otherwise and the body goes into defence mode. Hopefully one day I'll look back at all this and smile xx

I know how you feel @AMS19 I lost hope after my 1st. We got pregnant so easy the first time! Then it took 8 months after the MC. I think I know why, my husband and I had just moved home after being overseas, we were trying to find work again, both pretty stressed, but I was determined to keep trying each month, in hindsight I should’ve relaxed more. But it did happen, and it will happen for you, so stay positive and try not to think about it!! 🌟 xox

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 09:27

Ahh let's hope @Jujujuberry I hope you're right. Unfortunately I've lost all hope after 3 failed cycles of trying! Xx

@AMS19 I agree with @SuzieDeLaTour any month could be your lucky month!! Your doing amazing looking after your body, that perfect egg could be getting ready right now 😊

Jujujuberry · 26/03/2021 09:07

Omg @Seasalt1984 very exciting!! Relax as much as you can before you test again! This is not triggering as its hopeful for the rest of us ❤️ Keep us updated xx

Hey, welcome @Kinsters sorry you’ve had two MC’s, I have aswell, but sadly no children yet. TTC after loss certainly tests our patience doesn't it, It just feels like so much waiting. What do you do to keep busy? Xx

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 09:05

@Mellous just keep with the OPKs and if they pick up go for it!!!

@SuzieDeLaTour ha my husband moans because he can't have it everyday on the plan! He wanted to go last night and I told him no, it's our off day. And that also means no solo play, the gun needs to reload! Bet he didn't listen....🙄

SuzieDeLaTour · 26/03/2021 09:02

I’d never heard of SMEP before joining this group!! I had to look it up and a lot of women were saying “it’s essentially just a lot of sex” 🤣🤣 I won’t be receiving any complaints from my husband if we follow the plan this month!
@AMS19 ahhh no don’t count yourself out!! You just never know with this whole TTC malarkey - any given month could be your lucky one 😘 x

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 08:40

@SuzieDeLaTour I'm CD8 so not too off fertile time. Though I've already resigned I'm out this month for no reason! I think my focus is all on getting fitter and improving my cycles I just assumed I won't fall pregnant. I'm already geared up on what I'm changing for the next cycle! Glad period wasn't a beast!

@AMS19 I’m ok thanks lovely. Cd10 and going to start the “plan” this weekend!! I had a bit of cervical mucus this morning which has panicked me as why would I have it this early in the cycle, not expecting to o until cd18 🤔 these post mc cycles are strange! Ov test ratio was 0.46 so guessing my body is just being weird

@glowingtwig thinking of you today

@Seasalt1984 wow wow congrats!! Did you do smep this cycle?!

SuzieDeLaTour · 26/03/2021 08:11

@Seasalt1984 oh that’s amazing news! Congratulations! It’s a weird / strange / amazing feeling getting a positive, you feel like you’re in a bubble at first! X

SuzieDeLaTour · 26/03/2021 08:09

@glowingtwig I’ll be thinking of you today - hope the scan goes ok - well as ok as these things can be! I guess what I mean is I hope you’re ok and you’re treated with kindness and understanding. Hopefully the consultant can help answer any of your questions 😘 and please don’t blame yourself about the progesterone - you followed medical advice and there will always be people who say someone could have tried this or that but it’s highly unlikely to have made any difference! Xx
@AMS19 I’m ok lovely, how are you doing? Which day are you on now? Must be gearing up to DTD soon?! I’m Cd5 and my period is coming to an end. Thankfully it wasn’t a monster one this time and I could leave the house!! 😂 xx

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 07:56

@DMT1982 good to hear from you. I know it probably feels like a lifetime but it's April Thursday which means May ie practically next month. You're going to be in such a wonderful position to try too, all the great work you've done. I'm okay thanks. Focused all rebalancing hormones at the moment. Once everything seems more settled I'm going to stop tracking and just go with the flow with trying. At the moment tracking cycles is helpful me identify issues . Still doing the acupuncture weekly which is good. Started doing PT sessions and still walking 10-15k steps or running every day. The show must go on!

@Ralala sorry that's so frustrating!! Got everything crossed for ovulation or period so you can reset

@Seasalt1984 eeeeek that's fabulous news!!! Im absolutely thrilled for you. Remember on day at a time, one hurdle at a time! Oh what a lovely start to the weekend

Seasalt1984 congratulations!

I'd like to join please. I've been TTC for about 8 months now, got pregnant in November but had a MMC in January. This is the second MMC for me, I had one before having my DD. I'm really scared of it happening again. Today is CD8 and I don't normally ovulate until day 24 so still a long wait. I track BBT, RHR and use OPKs. Last cycle sucked, 60 days and I don't think I ovulated.

My Dr suggested taking low dose aspirin so I take a quarter of a tablet with my multivitamin. I did that with my DD as well and that was a normal pregnancy.

Seasalt1984 · 26/03/2021 07:41

Morning ladies...

I'm almost too scared to type this. I decided to POAS this morning at 11DPO to get it out the way and I think I've got a very faint positive. I don't know what to do with myself. Oh my god. I'm trying to reason all opportunities out with myself and its just nuts. I think I'll wait a couple of days and do another one then maybe I'll believe it. I don't want this to be triggering for anyone at all, you're all so amazing and supportive I just had to share. DH has gone off to work and I don't know what to do with myself...xxx

Ralala · 26/03/2021 07:31

Good morning ladies. Cd31.bfn and no AF yet. I’m starting to worry I didn’t ovulate this cycle as I couldn’t pin point it at all. To be fair my bbt broke but usually I can track with cm and cervix position but that was off too.

Anyhooooo I have some opks coming to use next cycle so I can figure out when and if I’m actually ovulating post mc. Xxx

DMT1982 · 26/03/2021 06:35

@AMS19 morning lovely. All ok this end, hoping to be able to try by May as have MRI on pancreas 13/04 so realistically the consultant won’t phone me until a few weeks after that as stool sample takes up to 4 weeks to come back. I did think about trying next month but it’ll be silly I think because if I’ve got to go onto digestive enzymes for my pancreas I may as well start taking them so it sorts everything out. I’m 5 days away from my period according to my tracker so he interested to see whether it arrives when it should.
How are you doing? Are you are you still doing your walking everyday? How are you feeling in yourself, is your anxiety a little less? Anymore acupuncture? I have reflexology at the end of next month xx

AMS19 · 26/03/2021 05:53

Morning ladies.

Another week down! How is everyone? @SuzieDeLaTour @DMT1982 @Mellous how are you ladies?

@glowingtwig thinking of you so much. Really hope this process is the least painful it can be xx

Thank you for recommending the worst girl gang ever podcast I cant remember who it was, but I’m listening to the TTC after loss episode and its making me laugh 😂

@glowingtwig my darling, I’m so very sorry for what your going through, I’ve been there twice and I just know how much your heart sinks when the bleeding gets heavier. These first few weeks will be hard, but take comfort that your body has had a bubba before, and it will again!! And you will be a super strong power mum!! Sending lots of love ❤️

Badlydrawngirly · 25/03/2021 21:17

@MeganChar1 some will and some want but you could ask.

I how you get some answers.

MeganChar1 · 25/03/2021 20:13

@Badlydrawngirly I wonder gp would prescribe progesterone if a private test suggested I needed it?

I just seriously think I won’t get taken seriously unless I have 3 miscarriages. I’ll have a look with them x

Badlydrawngirly · 25/03/2021 20:12

@MeganChar1

Or this gynae mention reproductive immunology and is in Liverpool.

gazvani.co.uk/gynaecologist-mr-gazvani-areas-of-expertise/gynaecologist-mr-gazvani-reproductive-immunology.html

Badlydrawngirly · 25/03/2021 20:08

Thanks @KJLM I’ll have a listen to the podcast!

@MeganChar1 my GP wouldn’t prescribe the progesterone even though my gynae said I needed it so I would ask the consultant but check with you GP if they will prescribe it with a letter from a consultant.

It was Nova Fertility that was recommended to me and it looks like they do testing for miscarriage so it might be worth booking an appointment with them.

Ralala · 25/03/2021 20:03

Hcg will also turn an opk positive so it may have been remaining hcg and not actually ovulation the opk picked up xx
