@MeganN91 great stuff. Yes 100% tonight and if possible tomorrow would be great. But tonight is the key one!! Xx
I actually got so excited and cried 😂. I honestly thought my body was so messed up and I wasn't going to ovulate. And then was fearing it would keep carrying on. I had so many problems with my miscarriage up until 7 weeks later. I just thought it would be my luck that there would be an ongoing problem . I'm so relieved right now xxx
@MeganN91 I would say you were ovulating now. Your one on cd20 wasn't positive as the line isn't nearly as dark as the control, so I think your ovulation is just a bit later and you're now ovulating!
You was right ! Well my results have dipped now. But I came home and went to the toilet and I had a serious amount of ewcm (sorry TMI) but I never ever got that while I was trying last year. I never really get it. We dtd last night. Do you think we should tonight to be safe.

Hi @angc30 dates are so hard aren't they. I'm praying by next Easter I have my rainbow baby, or am at least very pregnant!
Yes today is CD1. My first period was pathetic, just 2/3 days of spotting. My second period was the beast one! So you might be okay 😊

Hey ladies! I hope you all had a lovely Easter! xxx

I've been away for ages because I was waiting AF and struggling to get a negative test. I want to thank you all again for all the support xx To be honest the last few weeks were rough as my 12 week scan was scheduled for 2 weeks ago and we were planning to tell our families on Easter. BUT my first AF started this morning never been so happy for a period!! CD1 now?

I know yous were calling it the beast. Was the first AF bad for everyone? This is a breeze and a bit light so I'm worried it's not a proper one if that makes sense? My HCG is negative now though

Blondiebrownie6 · 06/04/2021 13:40

Hi @Neady1980, I use these tests and have found them to be ok for cheaply ones. Just for reference , I’m still holding onto HCG from my miscarriage 5 weeks ago....I done a test this morning and the line was super faint similar to yours but I could see one just about.....my bloods done earlier at EPU say my HCG levels are at 20....so it could well be something happening. I would get a first response as they are more sensitive or give it a few days and see. Sending you positive thoughts :) xx

Okay thank you. I'm nearly out of tests now. Which I think I'm glad. It's been a long wait 😆. I didn't think I was going to ovulate this month x
@MeganN91 I tend to ovulate around day 20-22 of my cycle. Could it be that your cycles are a bit out of whack after the mc? Do your boobs normally get sore around ovulation? Mine are normally after and that's how I know I've ovulated.
Well i only tracked ovulation in the last month or two before I fell pregnant as it took us a year so I can't really remember. The first sign of me noticing I was pregnant in December was sore boobs and darkened nipples. How many days cycle do you usually have. I usually have about 30 x

Neady1980 · 06/04/2021 12:29

@madeoftea thanks, I think I'll leave it for another day or two and then test again on a FRER and then take it from there. AF isn't due till Saturday or Sunday.

Madeoftea · 06/04/2021 12:14

@Neady1980 I've used them before alongside others and my femometer tests were blank until after I'd already got a positive on a clear blue digital so I don't think they're the most sensitive!

I can definitely see a line there in the first picture. I would say if it is a line it would definitely show up on another kind of test if you're able to get one.

MeganN91 · 06/04/2021 12:08

Hi ladies. Does anyone ovulate really late. My period is due in like a week. And I'm now getting the dark positive ovulation tests. I didn't test very well near the beginning of my cycle. But it's the first high test I've got. I'm getting my hopes up thinking it's picking up pregnancy hormones. My boobs are really sore. But I'm trying to tell myself don't get your hopes up. This is my first cycle since mc in jan.

Yea I'm not convinced if I'm honest, she tweaked them in the ferometer app and the lines are shown up 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I'm only 10/11 dpo. Think I'll just wait to see if AF arrives. I only done them because I'm 100% convinced I'm out this month

AMS19 · 06/04/2021 11:58

@Neady1980 hmmm yeah I'm not sure. I think unfortunately this is going to be a wait until tomorrow situation. What DPO are you?

OP posts:
Neady1980 · 06/04/2021 11:55

@AMS19 my phone isn't great at taking pictures but these are the ones I got. I'm not convinced

AMS19 · 06/04/2021 11:49

Hi @Neady1980 no I haven't but can you share a picture?

Neady1980 · 06/04/2021 11:46

Morning ladies, have any of you ever used the ferometer pregnancy tests and if so are they any good. My friend dropped me over some today and begged me to do one. I am convinced it's a indent line I saw although she thinks differently. She said she swears by them but I'm honestly not convinced and always said I'd never test early that I would wait for AF to be late. Just curious yo get your opinions

EllieAdam · 06/04/2021 08:25

Im sorry. I think it is still negative. The t line is still lighter than the c line. Keep testing. You may get a darker one tomorrow. Mine is so remarkable that I could visually tell positive or negative.

AMS19 · 06/04/2021 07:58

@Summersun001 thinking of you xx

@justwant2beamum I wouldn't worry, I think it's quite normal for them to be out of the ordinary first time. My first period afterwards lasted 11 days and it was very stop-start, not just red at the beginning and brown at the end, varying flow too.

Jujujuberry · 05/04/2021 21:39

@Badlydrawngirly I understand how it just feels too much, but please don’t give up now, its like you’ve come this far, something amazing could just be another month or two away. Its really common for women in their 40s to have healthy babies now. I have been reading about ivf lately because of my genetic issue I may have to go that route..Have you considered it?

Its all very overwhelming, I just wish there was a way to stop thinking about ttc and enjoy life to the max again. X

Badlydrawngirly · 05/04/2021 21:38

@Neady1980 that must have been a lovely surprise and I’m sorry it ended the way it did.

I think for me the adenomyosis is worse than the endo and they’ve never said it would stop me from conceiving although they did say the endometriosis may have damaged my left tube and caused the ectopics.

It took us over 3 years to conceive after the last loss and so it was a lovely surprise to fall pregnant again.

I really wish I could find some strength to carry on or else all the pain will feel like it’s been for nothing.

Don’t think I did myself any favours convincing myself we may have conceived this month!

Badlydrawngirly · 05/04/2021 21:21

Thanks so much @EsseKey, I really appreciate that.

I’m super emotional at the moment and don’t normally get like this before AF so it seems like my hormones are still all over the place.

Wishing you all the best!

CMcA21 · 05/04/2021 21:20

@EsseKey thanks so much, I have the seven seas Trying for a baby ones but haven’t started taking them yet, I’ve just been taking folic acid every day since I first found out I was pregnant and I read you should still continue when going through the miscarriage etc. My partner is now taking well man conception tabs which have good reviews! The book is amazing I would really recommend. The main thing for me is that I felt like I was the only person in the world going through what I was going through and knowing that it’s common and everything I think/feel is normal at the moment is really helping me. I just feel like I want to find out as much as I possibly can now. I can’t believe I was so naive to it all. I thought you have a big period and move on. Had no clue about MMC, EP or anything. It’s nuts.

I still haven’t had my period yet it’s been 25 days since my MVA so going to wait for my period and then start tracking my cycle and ovulation etc.

@justwant2beamum thanks so much for your advice. I have felt awful too and have been eating so much and not much nutritional value but I’ve decided from tomorrow I’m going to make a big effort and mark a new start. I’ve bought myself a journal and will start journaling too which I’ve never tried before. Thursday should have been my 12 week scan and I feel like if I’m still eating my body weight in chocolate and doughnuts I’ll feel even worse about it all. 😂 haven’t had my period yet so can’t help with that but looking through the thread it looks like the first one post MC can be quite light?
