So who's the first to get a BFP today?
Good luck to everyone testing.

biglips · 09/11/2007 21:09

ahh beanie ...better luck next time

coolkat · 09/11/2007 21:06

Oh Beanie I am sorry to hear that but as the old saying goes .. its not over til the fat red lady signs!!

Sarahnh how are things with you? Did AF arrive or was it just spotting? I am keeping fingers crossed for you.

Well here I have tummy ache, not sure whether AF on way (could be the delicious lunch I had at the conference centre today mmm!)
If no show by tomorrow I will test in the morning in preparation for girls night out!!!

Really tired today and DH gone back to work so turning in for an early night.
Suddenly the weekend does not look so bright?

beaniesteve · 09/11/2007 20:55

did a clear blue digital test... the timer flashed and then it went dead. We rushed out to get another one (3 actually) and tested again - came back 'not pregnant' but that's ok. Will wait until my period comes, but if it doesn't will test again.

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 18:08

You all make me want to go and buy a test but i want to wait a few days to see if AF comes.

Have just poured self a g&t on the basis that have not tested yet !

Excitable · 09/11/2007 18:07

Poor Beanie - hope you get what you want.

Forgot to stay that one other symptom that might mean I'm pg is the mysterious presence of my brain. My brain usually packs her bags and leaves the minute AF is seen coming up the garden. I think brain and AF must have had some kind of fight.

Excitable · 09/11/2007 17:54

Friend with baby would undoubtedly be sympathetic, but both our DH's will be here all the time and she is Bfing so not sure how easy it would be to take her away for a walk. Her DH would want to come anyway as they used to live round here and get a bit nostalgic about it when they come.

Perhaps could suggest a "gory details" walk. That might scare the chaps off... Imagine me saying "You won't like it. We're going to be talking about bijingoes and ick...Then we're going to talk about RELATIONSHIPS and FEELINGS...."

Thank goodness for MN. I will just have to vent my spleen on Sunday. Sorry I won't be able to post sooner. I wasn't going to test until Sunday, but I need to know if I can get stfaced or not at this party. Actually, probably shouldn't anyway until AF comes. Excitable is probably not destined to be the world's most responsible mother!

coolkat · 09/11/2007 17:44

Evening ladies, still no AF here so I testing in the morning.

Will post properly later DH just walked in

beaniesteve · 09/11/2007 17:42

sitting here... waiting for Boyfriend to get back from doing stuff... he knows I want to test, he wants me to test, but his brother was here the whole time...

tum de dum...

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 17:41

I just need to have 3 babies, I can't quite describe it - but I have another one left in me yet.

We are supposed to be waiting another 12 months though.....I have just started work for BIL and it will be mighty awkward if I get PG atm.

My 2 boys absolutley adore eachother and I do worry that another may upset the applecart.

excitable maybe confide in friend with baby. unless she's one of those one hit wonders she will probably remember what it was like to ttc and will understand a lot more than your DH.

There are quite a few tricks for avoiding booze - anti-biotics, early start the next day, not feeling too good, detoxing, on a diet. Or you could just accept a glass and take aaaaages to drink it. Couple of sips won't hurt .

Good luck tomorrow! Can't believe we have to wait till Sunday!!

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 17:01

My DH's parting shot before he left for work this morning was "how's your plumbing down below by the way". I give up with him. I don't say much either as eventually he gets bored and it has the opposite effect. Thank God for Mumsnet!

After a year of trying for DS1 I was walking around like a loose cannon and used to burst into tears (often in public places) for no apparent reason.

I now have two sons and feel like bursting into tears in public places - but for completely different reasons!

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 16:55

Saharhnh - I can't believe I'm going to have to eat my tester stick.

See how it goes.

I have had very light bleeding for 3 days so far but as AF is not due until tomorrow (at least) I am not giving up hope (plus had implantation bleed with DS2).

Excitable · 09/11/2007 16:53

Oh Sarah I'm sorry. I was just about to type that I thought you were pregnant too. My body did just the same thing to me last month. I had a million symptoms and then AF came right on time.

Don't want to do the same thing again this month, but AF is definitely late this time. Here's my stats.

Only BD'd twice in the right week this time. Once at the beginning and once at the end.

Am very tired, but also very busy.

Sore nips.

That's it really.

Will be testing tomorrow morning, but won't be able to post until Sunday. Listen to my planned weekend, girls: tomorrow, about two hours after I test, my best friend is coming to visit with her baby. We only get to see each other about 3 or 4 times a year now as she lives about 100 miles away, so it's going to be emotional. What a bloody time to pick, though!

Then, tomorrow night I'm going to a birthday party where just about all my other friends will be and if I'm pregnant, they're all going to know on the day that I find out because they're going to notice I'm not drinking!!

Either, way tomorrow is going to be an emotional roller coaster!

AND, all the time, I've got to pretend to DH that I'm not losing it, because he just doesn't understand. Somebody send me some reassurance in a box pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase!

sarahnh · 09/11/2007 16:41

don't think its good news here, just went to the loo for the millionth time today and when i wiped tmi ( loads of cm and a liitle tinge of red) also got a cracking headache. Unfortunatley i think AF is making an appearance.. very depressed now but hoping beanstevie have great luck tonight!xx

You must have the twin gene poppysocks!

Surely two would be fab! (or perhaps not......thinking of double nappies, feeding, sicking, pooing, sterlizing, washing.....)

poppysocks · 09/11/2007 16:33

Oh god. I'm getting worried now. My brother and sister are twins. Hope this salivation thing is general pg and not just for twins!

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 16:07

HI cbcb - how old are your two (presumably they are twins). Are you not worried you may get another set!

A chill goes down my spine at the thought of 3!

hiya poppysock...

ive noticed on my knickers that ive got yellow CM....what does that mean pls?

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 15:13

Poppysocks - I wouldn't worry about the boob thing.

Mine were excessively painfull with DS1 but not that bad second time around.

Probably beacause, like my stomach muscles, they had given up!.

poppysocks · 09/11/2007 15:06

Can I rejoin? (I had some brief hope during my last 2WW on the old thread).

I've had a weird few weeks. AF last time started as normal (well I think so as it was my first since the coil came out). Just when I thought it was coming to an end it kept going. Spotting, and for a couple of days a bit more, for a fortnight.

Anyway, started off again on the TTC when things had sorted themselves out. Pretty certain I OV'd on 29th so well into the 2WW now.

Can't decide whether I am actually having symptoms or whether I'm imagining them. Here's the roll call: horrible headache for most of last week and this week - feels like it could turn into a migraine anytime. This is probably what's causing the on/off nausea and excessive tiredness.

With DD I had really sharp pains in my stomach when I was turning over in bed. Had that last week. Surely that was FAR too early though and I also had muscles in my stomach that needed to be loosened with DD. No longer...

DH woke me up the other night because I was so hot (someone, somewhere on here said that could be a sign). But that isn't massively unusual for me.

I think with all of those I could be looking for the symptoms. Here's where it gets interesting (well, to me anyway!). I'm salivating all the time. What's that all about? Is that a symptom?

On the flip side, the only early symptom I had at all with DD was sore (and lumpy feeling - tmi) boobs. No sign.

Sorry for the excessive post. Just wanted to say thanks to every one on this thread. I may not have posted for a while but I've learnt a lot from you all - esp. Digital Girl. A font of TTC knowledge!
