Ok very sad - Sorry

[coolkat rushes of to find block of cathedral city!]

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 20:15

are your cycles normally this long if af started 7th ish that would make you cd40???? any idea on when you may have ovulated?? it has been known for some ladies ( have seen it on here) to get a BFP, 19dpo, so whilst AF stays away, theres is always hope

Hi sarahnh me and DH keep trying to work it out, AF flow arrived we think about the 7th ish (we know it was after dd's birthday) I did vow to take more care and record better next month.

Keep hoping for BFP but want it so bad as I am very conscious of the age gap I will have DD just turned 5 and did not have a smooth ride psychologically (sp) all better now but wish I had done it about three years ago.

Wish this cycle would end soon one way or another...

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 19:47

Oh no everyone seems to be getting AF - so sorry ladies. X

Well still no AF here although not got a BFP either (tested again using a Tesco one)

As I said earlier in the month was not sure when she is due but I know roughly and she should have been here by now.

Keep feeling like got tummy ache but then nothing comes.

beaniesteve · 13/11/2007 17:18

just to keep you up to date ...

Got my period this morning - A Tuesday! Seems it's always a tuesday. Very long cycle but I'm not depressed about it, this is my first month trying and I'm sure it will happen for me

GryffinGirl · 13/11/2007 15:20

LOL at Finn and his digging bucky. Maybe you could turn this behaviour to your advantage ? Did you say once that you needed a new fence? Maybe if you encourage him to dig holes at set intervals around the edge of your garden...et voila...holes for the fence posts! You'll never need a spade again . You could hire him out for other horticultural holes - tree planting, treasure recovery .

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 15:16

not at all gg, i'm just hpoing i can do a nicole richie too!!

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 13/11/2007 15:14

Bit of a Finn update to cheer gg up. Finn has discovered 'digging'. And boy does he dig . He dug a hole so deep that when I put my foot in it it was past my knee!!! Google said to put his poop in it to stop him digging there. He was horrified . Literally...all four paws left the ground with the shock when he started trying to dig it up again. However, he has just started digging in different locations now, so either I run around collecting sh*t and filling the holes constantly or I need a new plan . He can however now 'sit', lay 'down', 'wait' for his snacks and give me his 'paw' on command and is still super cute.

He has new friend called Bosch who calls for him a couple lunch times a week and DP said the two of them are psychos together. Bless. When DP got home today all he could see was his back feet pointing skywards and his tail sticking out of his kennel. So much for being a guard dog .

GryffinGirl · 13/11/2007 15:12

sorry sarah - just noticed that you said your cycles have gone funny . I sounded very insensitive with the last post

GryffinGirl · 13/11/2007 15:09

sarah - I am very at you slim physique . As far as I know, low body fat reserves and BMI can disrupt your menstrual cycle, but if your cycle is currently normal and that is your natural weight, being very slim shouldn't have too much of an impact. Nicole Ritchie managed it

DG - oh yes, shotgun weddings are, like, completely last year! The last few months have made me very careful what I say to people about TTC and joking about it. Her "you are the only one left" comment is sort of true. Not only is there li'l ol' me longing for it to happen, but I do feel very left behind too

Update is that I bought an OPK today, so shall start peeing on sticks again this weekend. I was using cervical pursuits and EWCM before, but have moved on to more mechanical methods of finding out if I've hatched . My cucle is regular, so I assume they should be pretty accurate?

Bucky2007 · 13/11/2007 15:05

at gryffingirl's millionaire marrying knocked up friend . Like dg I never ever make any reference to people who don't have kids having them...I now know that you just DON'T KNOW what people are up to in their personal life. I guess when it just 'happens' to people without them having to try there is no reason why you would though. I'm sure your friend is nice really gg but it's not nice for you so we will all be mad at her for you .

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 15:01

sorry about AF biglips

OP posts:
poppysocks · 13/11/2007 14:57

Sorry to hear that your AF has arrived, Pixie. I thought this was my month too.

Poor you GG with your friend's comment. DD was an accident and I was always v. conscious of how I told people as I knew my boss had been trying for 10 years and how hard it was for her. I'm sure your friend just doesn't realise that you're trying and what it's like waiting.

biglips · 13/11/2007 14:56

hiya AF is def here as its red now when i wiped! but no AF usual symptoms....strange!! im 4 days early than i expected for my AF

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 14:41

gg (angry)(angry) like my sil comments at the weekend.. just not very nice or fair Big Hugs xxx

OP posts:
sarahnh · 13/11/2007 14:39

oh pixie so so sorry to hear about horrible AF big hugs. Well i have just been to see one of my friends who is 21 weeks pg and she looks blooming... had to give myself a stern talking to not to burst into tears and scream "not fair i want one of those" but i composed myself!!

I have been reading alot about being a normal weight to concieve.. according to loads of sites i'm about 16lbs underweight so wondering ladies could that be a reason my cycles have gone all funny and i'm not concieveing??

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 13/11/2007 14:38

also...VERY stupid comment re: you being the only one left . Having been on the TTC bus for a few months now, I would NEVER say anything like that to anyone.

digitalgirl · 13/11/2007 14:36

gg doesn't your friend know, urgh, shotgun weddings are soooo passe.

()

GryffinGirl · 13/11/2007 14:03

oh pixie - really feel for you, m'dear. I had to go and hide from MN for a few days after I thought I was going a bit BFP/BFN mad, so getting your AF does mix you up lots when you have been hoping it will be your month.

Maybe the wine is too strong for you. A thimble full next time

Bucky it is sounding really hopeful for you this month

I just had one of my best friends on the phone - not only is marrying a very good looking millionaire next year, she is also 13 weeks pregnant ("unplanned, but we're so delighted, can you believe it?!"). As always, happy for her, but sooooo at the same time. Her comment "You are the only one left" feels like I've been winded.

pixie04 · 13/11/2007 13:56

Thanks you guys I really appreciate you pressies and hugs. I've been quiet good this cycle at not getting stressed and BDing at the right times ect and just feel a bit hard done by. Am going to go home after work and set up camp in my bed. Will stay there all evening and let DP wait on me.
