Congratulations Sarahnh. Just caught up with the thread and read your post .

Glasto update: light spotting on Thursday, more spotting on Friday (about 24 hours after first sign of spotting) and this time a lot darker. I have been having AF like pains and bouts of nausea, but today I've had no nausea (not sure what this means). My (.)(.) had been sore and heavy, now it's just my right one that is experiencing anything. While shopping on Friday I accidentally brushed past a woman, knocking her with my (.)(.) and the pain was awful. Felt like someone had wacked me with a red hot poker .

One other weird thing that's happened. Driving in the rain and dark on Friday spooked me big time. It was on a road I know well and feel confident on, but I've never felt so scared driving. I had to go on the same road yesterday with DH to visit friends and he could see I was scared driving, and conditions were fine. He says I must be PG and that subconciously I realise this is all new and driving is potentially dangerous, and I'm being protective.

Getting impatient to know one way or another so seriously tempted to buy a test on the way home then take it first thing in the morning. Scared I'm going to jinx myself though.

Afternoon ladies

I'm just catching up on all your posts and I'd like to send big hugs to coolkat. I'm so to hear your news.

There is plenty of support out there whenever you feel ready.

Hugs

AND Shazza will have a friend on the August thread too .

GryffinGirl · 03/12/2007 16:11

No, no sarah - you are not allowed to graduate and then leave the thread. You must stay here like Shazza as a post-graduate and remain as a source of wisdom and TTC/PG advice to those yet to graduate (and me in the dunce class )

07mumstheword · 03/12/2007 16:08

Good Sarah we like having you around. I went all stalkerish on Shazza earlier and gatecrashed her due in Aug thread, they seem like a nice bunch too.

sarahnh · 03/12/2007 16:07

you definitely haven't got rid of me yet girls, i'm like shazza i'm definitely going to lurk for a good bit longer...

I feel like you guys are all special secret friends and i amn't giving up up yet!!xx

[gri n]

must stop writing mammoth posts, leaving desk for a few minutes, then coming back and remembering to post.

HUGE CONGRATS SARAH!!!!! So pleased you finally got there!

07mumstheword · 03/12/2007 16:05

Sarah I can't believe it how wonderful just as you were going to give up all hope. Congratulations. Sit down and have a nice cup of tea for the shock. I bet your DH is in shock too. Come back later when the news has sunk in to let us know how you are doing and if you had any symptoms.

GryffinGirl · 03/12/2007 16:04

LOL shazza

hurrah sarah is back in her gown and mortar board hat to take a bow and receive her graduation certificate from The University Of 2WW

digitalgirl · 03/12/2007 16:03

welcome hootie and whitedaisy
sorry for missing your posts earlier, was in drama queen mode.
Whitedaisy - that looks like it could have been an implantation dip, what dpo was that on? it's supposed to happen around 7-10dpo.

hootie my doc sent me for a day21 test even though I told her my prob was long cycles, I told her I definitely won't have ovulated by CD21, so she said to have it on CD23 like that would make a difference. so I went on CD29 instead. so glad i read up on these things, or that would have been such a waste of everybody's time. waiting for my result to come in this wednesday. can't imagine she'll be able to explain what it means though. can you tell me what is a good level?

GryffinGirl · 03/12/2007 16:03

p.s. - just realised that santasmissus is must be shreksmissus in Christmas disguise!! I am such a numpty for not spotting that [duh emoticon]. Sorry to hear that you have been feeling low too and you are absolutely right about the support we get on this thread - blardy brilliant .

sarahnh · 03/12/2007 16:01

Thanks so much girls, as i said i am in complete shock, now i look at the first response line, it is pretty definite!!

I went and got one of my clearblue's out, convinced it would be negative cos it say to use with your first morning wee and it cam up "pregnant"... you could of picked me up the floor!!!

I am so confused, my last cycle was 36 days, now i'm thinking maybe i ovulated earlier that c13... but i'm very excited and very nervous!!!xxxxxxxx

Where's she gone, get's a BFP and then runs. Is that incase somebody steals it ?

GryffinGirl · 03/12/2007 15:58

I am so excited we have a BFP. I have had to go and make myself a soothing cuppa to calm down!

Shazza2002 · 03/12/2007 15:56

oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

My babydust did the trick. Congratulations

Shazza2002 · 03/12/2007 15:55

So you did another test, and there was me too busy typing an essay!!!!!!

Shazza2002 · 03/12/2007 15:55

sarahn If you're 11DPO I would get a CBD. I know First Response have a higher detection pre AF but I would say if there's and HCG there then CB will find it !!

Plus with 'pregnant' 'not pregnant' takes the whole is it, isn't it question away.

Does sound positive though.

How soon can you get another test, I'm waiting

GryffinGirl · 03/12/2007 15:51

Hurrah for sarah and her BFP!!!! There had to be somehting good to come out of today. That is wonderful news! I am so, so happy for you!

sarahnh · 03/12/2007 15:48

LADIES.............BPF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M in shock!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 03/12/2007 15:48

omg sarah fingers ever so tightly crossed but it sounds life a BFP to me!!!!

07mumstheword · 03/12/2007 15:35

Sarah A line is usually a line and when I've done First Response tests there does always seem to be a good gap between the two lines? I don't want to raise any hopes so I do think you may need to splash out on another test - get a double pack then if you are still not sure you could do one in the morning with your FMU. I do sooooo hope it is a BFP I was sad to hear you may not try any more after a year. Good luck.

CoolKat I should have fruit salad but I have no will power where chocolate is concerned they were yummy. Thank you.

JollyBear · 03/12/2007 14:49

Sarahnh, maybe you should get another test?! If it wasn't a two pack box I'd run out and buy another.

Fingers well and truly crossed for you!

sarahnh · 03/12/2007 14:37

coolkat, i hope you are doing ok...

Ladies i seriously need some advice here, i fell over on my ankle yesterday ( feel out of a bus i'm very clumsy!) and hubbie thought i should get some gel which contains ipforen(cannot spell), i thought i had better get a first response test too just in case...

No i have just done the test and there is a faint line, but there is a big space between the line and the control line... on the instructions it looks like the lines should be close together... as shazza said earlier i think i am only 11dpo... HELP!!!
