So Excitable your AF, Starlight's AF and my AF all gone AWOL. Is there no chance that any of us could be pregnant?

This 2ww is turning into a 4 week wait!!

Excitable · 19/11/2007 19:00

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I meant three BFN's.

STILL no sign of Aunt Blinkin Flo, I'm going to bloody kill her when she gets here - she's not even a welcome guest, but the least she can do is ring if she's going to be late!

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 18:27

Abbymeg I don't think it's implantation bleeding as I got a on my opk on day 10 this month so even that was early. Time will tell.

abbymeg · 19/11/2007 18:22

Hey cbcb - thanks. I've read a bit - sounds gory! I think the jury's out on whether or not it's a problem. Still have no idea what has caused it.

Mums - is there any chance it's implantation bleeding if you're so early in your cycle?

Not looking too good here now. I've been denying it this afternoon but just been to the loo again and there is definate brown spotting which is quite normal for me, a day of brown spotting until TEW shows. I know I'm mad but depending on how heavy it is in the morning I may still do a test. If it is TEW I can at least be greatful that this is a short cycle as I'm only CD23!

starlight & bucky start charting now, so you know what your post-ov/pre-af temps are. then you'll probably notice a dip on the day you get AF, which is quite a good indicator (stops you from wasting another test).
Also, it'll mean you'll know when your temps rise again, whereabouts they should rise to.

abbymeg · 19/11/2007 16:58

Hello all. I cannot wait until I get a laptop at work (though I'm praying they are lax in their monitoring of our internet use!!).

Bucky - Am really sorry that you've got spotting. I hope you can have some lovely things to treat yourself tonight. Get yourself cosy and eat chocolate.

Cbcb - I'll be holding you to the promise of the workhouse door. Please can we make sure the children fetch mixers to go with the gin?

Now I've decided to start ttc again, I'm really frustrated that I'm about CD25 but with no symptoms. I'm on the 2ww for old AF so I can get a crack on.

However, worringly, when I went for smear (finally, after months of missing the appointments), the nurse said I've got some cervical erosion. Apparently this is completely normal - and I asked if I can still carry; she said it should be fine. This does not, however, stop me worrying! I want to know what my cervix has been up to that's got it eroded! I didn't think my sex life was that vigorous (mores the pity - too tired!) and I had dd by c-section. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It is exactly 10 years since I was pg last time. I found out on 3rd December 1997. I'm feeling all nostalgic and I want a baby in my belly by Christmas 2007!

Hi Ladies, Hoping its just spotting for you Bucky.

Sounds like we could all be following your 10 point plan to conceive then Bucky.

Maybe its a little cold for Pixie to come out today, we had snow here last night.

My AF is still missing, surely it can not be worth me testing again next sat? Still baby dancing but I thought the egg would have been and gone no?

Busy day on here, I lose track so easily

[coolkat waves to everyone] I did read through and PMSL at Windy Nips!!

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 16:10

Oh dear terrible grammar, sorry I didn't preview my post. I meant 'which one is better?'. It was a question, duh.

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 16:09

CBCB I don't usually have spotting although I remember a couple of months ago i had some that made me think it was implantation. Won't be making that mistake again. Felt super silly .

Excitable do you mean BFNs? Otherwise you are pg no???

I am going to google acupunture/reflexology now...which one is better. I need a thermometer as well. So many things to buy so little time . I need some OPKs as well, but I am not sure if to get a mortgage out to by the CBDs again considering I broke the last one .

GryffinGirl · 19/11/2007 16:08

excitable - do you mean BFN?? CBCB - skating and mulled wine is nice for a works night out, until you end up going ase over tt in front of your boss like I did two years ago and had a bruise the size of my hand on my bum . They are usually good fun nights out and with all the lights and the big tree at Somerset House, it is a little like a Victorian Christmas card. Oh and you can book the tickets on line, because it gets really booked up if you just turn up. I can also recommend a very lovely creaky old pub called Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese nearby for log fires, cheap ale and that continuing Dickensian feel.

Bucky - love the list. I may have to start temping, if this doesn't get better. I think my confusion lies in the fact my cycles always been regular as clockwork, had plenty EWCM and nothing seems to be amiss at all. Are you the same? I am 32, so not ancient

hello to everyone else. Where is pixie today?

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 15:21

Excitable - 3 BFP's, do you mean BFN?

Excitable · 19/11/2007 15:06

I've done number 10 already and I'm only on Cycle 3! Might even have done number 10 in cycle 1. Poor DH.

I haven't had any spotting, just some bleeding discovered by DH in the act. Does that count as spotting?

Three BFPs are telling me that I'm probably not pregnant.

v. good list bucky we should all memorise it and recite.

i love temp charting. it has given me so much more confidence this cycle to not think I've ov'ed earlier than usual. will hopefully minimise confusion and frustration towards the end of the cycle.

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 14:17

bucky

This month I have done 2,3,4,5 & 7

And will most definitely be doing No 10 if I'm not PG.

It's just frustrating this whole TTC lark, it's like you have all the right ingredients but it still doesn't work

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 13:59

Thanks everyone for being kind to me Have decided to attack this month with military precision. Its official i am project managing this conception and WILL not be beaten. I am publishing my ten commandments:

  1. start temping
  2. use OPKs as well,
  3. drink grapefruit juice to increase CM
  4. cut out coffee
  5. take folic acid religiously
  6. attempt cervical pursuits
  7. BD from CD8 to CD28 at least every other day
  8. make dp eat brazil nuts
  9. look into reflexology or acupuncture
10. have a fit and blame DPs swimmers if none of this bl**dy works

Right...now I just need that dratted AF to turn up [Bucky drums her fingers impatiently]

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 13:45

Oh Bucky I'm gutted for you if it really is TEW settling in. I'm cycle 7 this month and it does get more and more disappointing. It will happen.

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 13:26

bucky Sorry bucky. Don't feel bad, cycle 7 is a long time. I'm only on cycle 2 and I know if I'm not PG this month I will be annoyed.

I think sometimes when you've already got DC you think well I've done it before, why can't I do it again !!

GryffinGirl · 19/11/2007 13:22

fingers crossed for you Bucky - thinking of you. It's horrible, I know. This will be cycle 11 for me, and I think if nothing happens this time, i will be utterly demoralised.

cbcb - Somerset House Ice Rink is open this year. I am going for a work night out there on 27th of November to wobble around, totter and fall on my bum, no doubt. Skating is not really my forte, but it's a lovely place to spend a winter evening and indulge in some mulled wine. I'd recommend the Natural History Museum rink too for atmosphere if you are coming to London, although on a Saturday it is utterly mobbed with children. Not that I am against the little blighters (don't suppose I'd be here if I was !!!), but lots of wobbly seven year olds and extra bold 11 year olds racing past is a little disconcerting and not much fun if you aren't a proficient skater.

DG - thanks loads for the tip on the timing of the OPK testing. I have a few more OPK's in the house, so will test later today too and wait until mid afternoon from now on. DH and I are BD-ing every day at the moment, so this month it is not so much about timing our BD-ing, but more about knowing what day I ovulate on (or even checking that I definitely OV at all) and pinpointing it for future reference.

AND DG we may be testing buddies. Th esuspense will kill me as always! But I am going to be BuckY this month asnd resist testing (if it comes to that) until CD32. I jinxed myself last month by getting my hopes up too high
