P.s. cb - my dd is august too!

abbymeg · 20/11/2007 16:33

Cbcb - fingers firmly crossed for your BFP.

I like the idea of having twins, but I honestly don't know how we'd afford it. I'm the main earner; we both need to be full time in order to pay the bills. We'd be scraping through with one, especially as childcare is around £500 a month full-time.

Now I realise this is premature, given my unpg state; but given it's a possibility that could cause us serious financial difficulty, I keep wondering. It's not going to stop me, and if it was twins I would consider myself blessed, though when I force dh for a second job on nights followng his full-time days (and his bar job for his spare time), he might not be so tickled!!

We will hurdle that obstacle when, and if, it arises.

But the dream was vivid - one boy, one girl, and both with names I'd chosen.

Hello all. Big wave to Pixie - yes, the game is once more afoot.

Although there is no chance of pg, and AF is due is two days, I'm still hoping after one night of b-ding without contaception WAY after I ovulated. Well, gives me a chance to symptom spot (It's good to be back).

So far I have none.

Surprising that .

Although, I do want to eat a lot. But then I want to eat a lot most of the time. Especially before my AF.

DG - pmsl at you shoving small children into pumpkins in your dreams. I wonder what that symbolises? Where is Mr Freud when you need him?

I know that pocket-type objects and vases are symbolic of the vagina; so maybe it is a desire for pregnancy.

I dreamt I had twins. I would definitely be knocking at the poor house door. Cbcb - don't you have twins? Is childcare really expensive? It is actually a possibility as husband has twins in his family, and according to a palmist carries the twin gene.

Maybe should focus on actually getting pg before worrying about numbers!

Bucky - I'm disappointed for you; though it will be lovely to have you to talk to still as I re-embark on the rollercoaster. If I do get AF on thursday, we'll be just-about cycle buddies again.

Excitable · 20/11/2007 14:44

I might mention your DH's mission to prove his virility to my DH! IF AF ever bleedin' shows her face. I'm going to batter her from here until next Tuesday when she gets here.

Love Excitable (Not quite over this yet!)

digitalgirl · 20/11/2007 14:05

more ewcm today. which means couldn't have ov'ed yesterday. maybe it'll be today. maybe it'll be tomorrow. oh well, more bd'ing is in store tonight!

ladylush · 20/11/2007 11:50

Cheers Scorpio Getting big yet?

pixie04 · 20/11/2007 11:47

Hello Ladies!

I've been gone a couple of days, just decided I could do with a break from MN after the arrival of TEW last week. I'm on boring CD8 nothing to tell. I had a fabulous girly night out on Saturday and have been giving myself a break in general, no housework, no rushing around. After 10 mnths ttc I am starting to wonder whether I could do with taking a proper break.

Hope everyone is okay? It's gonna take me a while to get through all the posts since Friday. Did I see Abby back on the thread?

scorpio1 · 20/11/2007 11:43

well, heres to wishing anyway for you!

ladylush · 20/11/2007 11:41

Hello yes but I have been fooled before Scorpio

scorpio1 · 20/11/2007 11:35

ladylush, doesnt this happen to you when you are pg?? last time was early wasnt it? and baby can implant within 5 days.

ladylush · 20/11/2007 11:33

been feeling like this since past two days though........

digitalgirl · 20/11/2007 10:40

bucky so sorry she got you, at least it was a relatively normal length cycle (not too short, not too long). how strange that you didn't get your usual AF symptoms. thou shalt drink more grapefruit juice.

sarahweirdo I've had 'oh look I've got a baby' dreams before where I've miraculously skipped the pg bit. last night I dreamt I was looking after loads of different children, none of them mine. and trying to hide one of them in a pumpkin. i don't think you're weird.

ladylush I'm sure I've read you can get implantation from 5dpo onwards

mtw prob too early, if that spotting was an implantation then you might still have to wait a few days for the HCG to build up. it ain't over...

GG double points for Gryffin House!

waves to shazza starlight cbcb excitable coolkat abbeymeg and pixie (are you ok?). also, anyone seen picknmix about on the boards? can't remember if she said she was taking a break from ttc...

so i 'might' have ov'ed yesterday. temp did rise slightly this morning, but not as much as I thought it would. now have to wait and see if it goes up a bit more and stays up. this temping thing isn't for the impatient

GryffinGirl · 20/11/2007 10:21

bucky - I am so sorry that AF arrived but maybe this new month will be your lucky one. It's about time one of us had some blinkin' luck . Thinking of you, m'dear.

I am CD14 today and poor DH is knackered by my marital demands, but he has a smile on his face ! I got a positive on the OPK last night (hurrah!) so we got down to it straight away and also this morning just because we felt like it . I am enjoying this if nothing else . DH has decided he is on a mission this month to prove his virility, and if nothing happens, it certainly won't be for lack of trying!

sarahnh · 20/11/2007 09:41

morning all.

sorry tew got u bucky and fingers crossed mtw that it is only spotting!!

I'm really struggling this month, all my symptoms have come so early that i feel every day is dragging...

Meant to tell you all i had a really spooky dream on saturday, i dreamt i had a scan and it was a baby boy and the due date was 21st september!!!!! has anyone else had that kind of dream??? maybe i should my name to sarahweirdo!!!xxxxxxxxxxx

OP posts:
ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:38

And it can't be due to pregnancy anyway as I thought you don't get any symptoms until implantation when hcg is produced. Only 5 days post ovulation so doubt implantation will have happened yet.

ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:36

My nips really are sore but I get it pre-af anyway.

Shazza2002 · 20/11/2007 09:23

Morning All

It is too early mtw I'm sure of it. Test again on Friday, if you can wait that long

ladylush I am exactly the same as you. Keep touching my nips wondering why they're not sore, but they bloody will be if I carry on. All I've had is AF aches and like sharp pains. But sure I got these last month too.

Waiting really is a torment. Whether it's waiting to test or waiting for AF, our bodies can be so evil to us

ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:04

CD20 here and already imagining extra veiny boobs, extra tingly nips and extra indigestion. So looks like 8-9 days of torment are a coming

07mumstheword · 20/11/2007 08:06

Sorry Bucky

I didn't have any more spotting so I did a test this morning and just as I thought BFN. To be honest I knew it would be so I'm not too I know I tested early and I know it's not over until TEW sings but I know she's gonna sing her little heart out this month so here's to a September baby!

coolkat · 20/11/2007 07:49

Sorry to hear that Bucky, 10 point plan next month. X

Hope evryone's ok. Nothing to report here.
