very quick post ladies as I have been swamped at work (just home..and it is DH's birthday , but sort of ok as he has been away today) How is everyone in the 2WW and those who are not? about to be CD20, so definitely in the countdowna nd I have sore (.)(.) but think I get them every month about this time, so I am not seeing that as an overly helpful sign.

CBCB - i was supposed to ice skate at Somerset House tonight, btu was stuck at work everyone kepy texting me saying how wonerful it was, so definitely book. Have fun at your hen night

Big welcome to hidingbehindthesofa - fingers crossed for you this month is a lucky one. I am not sure what day I am on either. I checked the baby Waiting Room Stay As Long As You Like thread and as listed I am one day ahead, so no worries on the counting days . Hope you have had help DG is our resident Einstein on all things TTC and helps the rest of us when we are being biologically hopeless. Bucky is our party planner and jollybear has some good recipes. We ave had lots of successful graduatues and I seem to be the veteren round here at cycle 11.

Got a bit of a radical suggestion on the old 2WW meet up ladies...did you know there is an ALL MUMSNET meeting on 1 Dec in Clerkenwell, London for everyone off all the threads??? Is anyone game to join in with the Big School or is that just too scary and we can all meet up on the 8th as promised (which I can't wait for by the way)hidebehindthesofa . The info is on the Meet Ups thread and looks quite a big thing, but rather daunting to be honest. Will we all have to wear badges saying "GryffinGirl - better looking in real life and just as flaky" or somehting

off to bed now, so excuse my nonsense and big hello to all 2WW-ers about!

GGx

hidingbehindthesofa · 27/11/2007 23:17

thanks DG. thats what i thought. should really try and wait till next tuesday to test. feels like a looong way away.

coolkat · 27/11/2007 20:24

Don't know DG but we will test your calculations when I have a scan!

Got to go 2ww security prowling!!
Coolkat X

digitalgirl · 27/11/2007 19:41

ck hmm, if you conceived on the 9th of November you would be due 1st Aug. Does that sound likely?

hiding try and wait till your due, or 14 days from when you think you ovulated. but we've all been guilty at testing from 10/11dpo. And lucky ole shazza got her BFP on 9/10dpo. it's just it could be too early if your egg is taking it's time to implant and BFN's can be a little upsetting (and expensive) after a while. Hopefully you'll never have to see one!

coolkat · 27/11/2007 18:52

Hi DG, yes tested the week before and then the week before that and the one before that! all of the previous tests BFN's so when got BFP was suprised. What does this mean?

hidingbehindthesofa · 27/11/2007 18:09

TBH i feel a bit rough.
have had cramps since the love boat. (my it was a choppy crossing), but obviously could not be anything real as i literally started getting crampy 2 days after the first outing.
i don't know what CD i'm on, will try and work it out, and we BD'd 3 days in a row on when i was on day 15-18 of my (usually 30 day?) cycle.
sorry - being a bit thick, must be on CD22 now then. the earliest i can test from reading this thread must be CD 30 is that right?
one other thing though. have had no CM at all since BD'ing which i usually get quite a lot of up till AF. anyone had this? does it mean anything?
going out now but will be back tomorrow.
ta ra!!

digitalgirl · 27/11/2007 17:14

hello hiding welcome to the 2ww!

Have you already got some symptoms or are you fresh off the loveboat? Tell us everything!
And good luck

hidingbehindthesofa · 27/11/2007 16:49

hello there, i've been lurking around here for a while now so thought it was time to say hi. feels a bit rude not to!
i;m on the 2WW now. cannot test until next tuesday i think, but this thread has been really helpful re symptoms, when you can test and stuff.
anyway, hope to have good news soon. hurrah to all the BFPs and heres to loads more.

digitalgirl · 27/11/2007 16:30

ck I hope it's just a tummy bug [hopeful emoticon]. when you tested did you get some BFNs before you got your BFP? or do you know when you ovulated? When you ovulate you are already 2 weeks pregnant.

shazza please stick around for as long as you can and keep filling us in on your real symptoms.

abby admirable effort you definitely deserve a BFP this cycle, and just think - all that bd'ing will counteract the mince pies this season! It'll be a zero calorie Christmas woohoo!

cbcb needle in head was easy, it's the ones in the feet that hurt the most. sure you can't come down sarf on a 'shopping trip'? you are the founding mother of the 2ww thread after all.

glastochick glad you weren't one of those ladies with an AWOL AF.

sarah, hope you feel better soonshreksmrs I told my acupuncturist I was confused about getting what looked like EWCM after I thought I ov'ed. He said not to worry about it, it can happen. If you get it for two to three days in a row then keep bd-ing just in case.

poppysocks I think sperm can live for up to five days if you have fertile mucus from five days till ov. otherwise they have no food to keep them going. fingers crossed!

you can tell I'm in work-avoidance mode!

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 27/11/2007 16:29

DURH!!! am CD6 not CD5. Commited? Moi?!!! It's a good job I checked the other thread!!

Shazza2002 · 27/11/2007 16:17

Hi coolkat

I really hope eveything is OK and that you are actually due Aug. For pure selfish reasons you see .

Please let us know how you get on....

coolkat · 27/11/2007 16:05

Hi Shaza I have been loitering n the July one. Don't really know when due as do not know when last period was. Going doc's tomorrow as got bad stomach ache again.

Not feeling happy bunny feel something bad is about to happen iyswim.

I hope your all well, still keeping my litlle eye on you, here you got security here now so best not loiter for long
X

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 27/11/2007 15:58

Bucky I doubt I'll be able to make it due to skintness and distance - I'm in Leeds. would have been lovely to come and see you all.

So CD5. BORING. Have begun the b-ding though. I've decided on the every day approach this month and we'll see how we get on. If this doesn't work, may do every other day next month. It's like a military operation here. Hijacked DH during half-time last night, dragged him to bed then off he went again for the second half. And they say romance in dead!!!

BTW - am drinking my grapefruit juice as planned - but will this make me too acidic now? Is the jury still out? It's heinous - all the possible combinations: BD every day + grapefruit; BD every day - grapefruit; BD every other day + grapefruit; BD every other day - grapefruit. It's hard work this

Shazza2002 · 27/11/2007 14:47

CBCB

CBFM was great but wasn't gonna get me pg on it's own, BD is the only way to go. They do say every other day is good. We did on CD13, CD16, CD18 & CD20. I peaked on CD18 so I'm guessing it was that day or even CD16 that caught. But who bloody knows.

8th August is my aunts birthday so she will be so chuffed when I tell her.

Hi to eveybody else waiting for BFP's, we had a little flurry over the weekend so must be due some more by now.

Anybody testing in the next couple of days.

You can kick me off here if you want, but would prefer to stick around [amile]

Hi dg and mumstheword

On CD17. Sorry, need to update the waiting room thread. Thought I had a couple of weeks ago but knowing me I didn't! If I'm this dizzy now what on earth will I be like when pg?

Shazza2002 · 27/11/2007 13:04

Thanks LL. Have managed to track it down

Shazza2002 · 27/11/2007 11:42

Maybe tiny bit early. I had 'funny turn' 7DPO, I think that was probably the earliest I 'really' thought I knew.

But never say never

sarahnh · 27/11/2007 11:40

oh shazza i wish i wish it wasn't , i'm on on cd18 so if i ovulated when i think i did cd13 it is waaaa to early to test and waaa too early for symptoms!!!!
