Clearblue OPK static smiley

I am in serious need of clearblue digital advanced experts!

My last cycle was 43 days. (First proper one off the pill after a 90 day cycle.)

I'm now on CD27 and based on my last 43 day cycle, apps predict I will ovulate tomorrow. (I didn't ovulate last month so have nothing to go on.)

This morning I got my 7th day of flashing smiley. Decided to test again just now at 1pm and got a static. I don't know whether to be happy about getting my first static or whether this is really just measuring the rise compared to using FMU because we all know LH is more detectable in the afternoons?

Any insights gratefully received!

Thanks for replying @Lizzybubble – wish I'd done a couple of tests a day like you, because then when it remained flashing I would know ok it's not peak yet. As it stands I will never know because now static will remain constantly displayed won't it, argh!

Anyway I suppose it makes no actual difference... keep DTD and pray for no period in 2 weeks' time 😄

How long have you been trying? Good luck to you!!!

Hi I’ve just had the exact same thing happen to me! Tested in the evening of my 7th flashing smiley day and got a static! I believe it was right as I had been testing twice a day for the 4 days before that and all were still the flashing face, that was beginning to drive me mad! 🙈 sorry if tmi but I also had ewcm that afternoon as well so I think there’s a good chance the clear blue test is correct! Good luck 🤞
