TTC (trying to conceive), first time, second cycle

Hi guys, TTC first baby, I am on my second cycle. AF is late but tests are coming back negative... hate this waiting game and I've only just started. Daffodilbaby dust to all you lovely ladies Daffodil

I know! We're so excited we couldn't believe it when we saw 2! I'm 8 weeks now. I bet you can't wait, I know I can't! X

I'm fine thanks, nearly 10 weeks so only have 3 weeks on Monday until my booking in scan so counting down the days to telling our family and friends 😊

Argh my BBT hasn't risen 2 days after my positive opk and it's also quite late for me anyway so I'm not sure what's going on. I think I don't always ovulate. I've had my suspicions before ttc. Think I'm going to be heading back to the doctors after my next cycle. 😭.

Congrats ladies! I've just ovulated cycle 3 of trying so hoping the baby dust is is spreading through this chat group! ✨ I don't think you see anyone before 8 weeks unless there's any issues so fingers crossed for you all! Look after yourselves. xx

Aww sorry for your loss. That's must be hard! Yes I know what you mean. It's my parents first grand child on my side aswell. Really trying to hold off telling them X

Haha it's quite surreal eh? We are the same. I was going to tell my mum this week on her birthday but we've had a family bereavement so holding off until the 8 week scan. Bad news always happens around times I should be celebrating - it's a bit of a running joke in the family - so we've decided to hold off a couple more weeks so we can really enjoy telling the parents. It's the first grandchild on my side of the family so we want to really enjoy it.

What about you? Have you told anyone?

I feel like I'm in a dream tbh haha I don't think it's sunk in yet. And I haven't told anyone just my partner so I'm dying to tell my mum and dad but my partner says we should wait which I think is probably right! What about you have you told anyone and how are you feeling? X

@Nattie33xx always better to double check. I thought it was a bit odd too but I think that's just what happens now. I'm a worried too. How you feeling as the days go on? Has the news settled in?

@Nattie33xx I haven't seen the doctor. They've just booked me in for a midwife appointment at 8 weeks and my 12 week scan x

It's really strange as I thought you were meant to see the doctor as soon as you find out you are pregnant but they said they don't do that anymore so I have to wait until I'm 8.weeks pregnant and I have a phone appointment with a midwife. Is this normal? Also I don't think.i see the midwife on week 8, just a bit worried to when you are actually seen is this the same for you guys?

It's so exciting! Bet you can't wait for your scan. I can't wait to tell my mum aswell, I'm going to go to doctors this week to confirm with a blood test then I think I will tell my mum 🙂

@Nattie33xx glad to hear you are feeling good. I'm ok thanks. I have the odd wave of nausea but nothing too bad. A bit bloated too. I've got an early scan in 3 weeks which I am just counting down the days for. I think I'll feel a lot better once we've had that. Very excited though. Looking forward to finally telling my mum. I feel like it's screaming out of me 😂 x
