@Pettylamby that's most definitely a line, absolutely amazing!

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 16:41

@dippyegg32 I bloody hope so! I still won't believe it till I'm getting proper lines and I've missed my period but it's looking that way! You made me laugh for the first time today with that comment, what a great phrase!! 😂😂

dippyegg32 · 08/03/2021 16:28

@Pettylamby you're defo upduffed GrinGrin

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 16:23

@AMS19... Decided to try a cheapie this afternoon after a bit of a hold and boobs getting sorer as the day went on... This was the result... More FRERs coming tomorrow and period due tomorrow so we'll see what happens! But I'm inclined to believe the FRER now...

Hi everyone Smile
Please can I join? I had a miscarriage a within the last couple of weeks. I had a private early scan at 7 weeks but they couldn't find a heart beat but they thought I had my dates wrong but after that the spotting started. The following week I had a scan at the EPU confirming the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. The bleeding has finally stopped and I'm ready to start trying again but unsure if I want to track before my first period (I was a little obsessive last time).
Do most people wait until their first period to try or start straight away? Also how do people deal with the anxiety of thinking if will happen again? X

Hi everyone I’ve been very quiet of late but mainly because the app stopped working and then couldn’t remember my login details and thought I would step away from reading anything or social media etc.
Eventually got back on and saw this new group but haven’t managed to write on the original thread because I’ve missed so much that I didn’t know where to start.

Hope everyone is well.

I had my AF on 1st March which was 28days post D&C so just waiting for my fertile window now where you all at? Xx

Cienega · 08/03/2021 15:39

Hi all,
I hope it's OK to post. Congratulations to the ladies with the bfps xx
I'm not quite where you all are. Just had surgery this morning following a missed Miscarriage. Baby stopped developing at 7wks but my uterus continued to grow, only discovered at my 12wk scan two wks ago.

I was quite relaxed about waiting to try again but now that it's all over I find myself so eager to get going.
The surgeon told me to wait two cycles so that all the previous endometrial lining is gone and I have fresh new lining to start trying with. Does anyone know if this is necessary for a successful pregnancy or just something that is advised (but won't actually effect future pregnancies)

I am a planner so will be organising everything this evening for going forward. I want to do everything I can for best foot forward this time so would love some recommendations on prenatal vitamins or supplements to get my body in its best shape for pregnancy. (I am very lucky to be very fertile with three beautiful babies at home and fall pregnant quite quickly so I don't think I need to take anything for that, more to want to create the best environment x)

Also reading a lot about acupuncture and wondering what it is good for and if I should consider it?

Thank you all so much for reading and any advice, I'm so sorry for what you have all been through and senring all the luck in the world for your rainbow babies xxx

@ralala don't worry I'm identical! CD13 too and crazy temps. I've attached my chart. But I did get a very strong peak last night and temp drop this morning so hoping today is ovulation day 🙏🤞

Ralala · 08/03/2021 14:56

So cd13 and my temps are wild! Up and down and generally all over the place! Fun times .

Ralala · 08/03/2021 14:34

@TTC94 we do every other day from cd10 to cd20 roughly. I have a 31 day cycle so slightly longer than others. This means I catch early ovulation around cd12/13 or late ovulation around cd17/18. I tend to ovulate cd15. I was told my gynaecologist it’s best to have lots of seamen waiting for the egg and some back up just in case. Sorry! Always makes me laugh!!

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 14:17

@dmt1982 I think it might be a bit of both! I might try "normal acupuncture" rather than specialist fertility acupuncture which is a lot cheaper and I'm definitely going to try reflexology! I do feel slightly more lighter as the afternoon is going on...

Mellous · 08/03/2021 14:10

@dippyegg32 it definitely feels like a lucky thread... im dyyyyying to test already!

DMT1982 · 08/03/2021 13:57

@AMS19 thanks for the update. I wonder if it’s something you have to have a few sessions of to feel the benefit OR that particular therapy is not for you and to try reflexology? Xxx

Tealchoc · 08/03/2021 13:25

Hi ladies, I’m just moving over from the miscarriage thread.

Huge congratulations @Summersun001 @LauraT94 !!’
@Pettylamby that looks like a positive to me, will keep my fingers crossed 🤞

All these lovely bfps have given me hope!

TTC94 · 08/03/2021 13:20

@Pettylamby - it looks like a line to me! A tentative congrats!

What are people’s thoughts on how often we should DTD during the fertile window?

I’m torn between every other day and daily?! I have read conflicting information about which is better!

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 13:15

@AMS19 that's so interesting to hear about your acupuncture experience today. I've got my first appointment this evening so will see how that goes for me too.

dippyegg32 · 08/03/2021 13:02

I feel a bit more eager to test early now, these wonderful positives are all tempting me!!

dippyegg32 · 08/03/2021 12:52

Omg this is such a lucky thread!!! GrinGrinGrin

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 12:49

@DMT1982 @SuzieDeLaTour so honestly I don't feel an different? I'm sure inside it's doing wonders but for the money I wouldn't do it again. I cant see how it would make any difference to my hormones or cycle at all...I'm glad i tried it but for the cost probably wouldn't bother again!

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 12:36

@LauraT94 ahhh definitely getting darker! So exciting!! I’m really, really happy for you x
@AMS19 you’ll have to let us know how your acupuncture went. You might just convert me 😁
@Pettylamby I see a line too!!! If you’ve had stark white negatives since your MC then this has surely got to be a new little bean?! Oh fingers and toes crossed you for my love!! X

angc30 · 08/03/2021 12:25

@Pettylamby I think that's a line!!! I see some colour. I swear the tescos £3.50 blue ones are better than the FRER. I think I'm the only person that actually prefers them though. I was taking 2 a day my last BFP until 6 weeks so I couldn't afford the FRER

@LauraT94 that's definitely progression! I think it's important to let yourself get hopeful, everything crossed your lines keep getting darker and you get your rainbow 🌈

@DMT1982 love a theme song!

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 11:33

It's the first one I haven't thrown away @mellous and I keep going to check it! I still don't believe it's gonna turn into a bfp so we'll wait and see!

Right @LauraT94... Just ordered those tests so we'll see! Also have a stash of CB digital but not even considering them at the moment! 😱

Mellous · 08/03/2021 10:55

I'm looking again @Pettylamby as I'm so excited for you... I do think this is a bfp!! ahh!!

@LauraT94 fab line for 10dpo! aww lovely news for your mum xx

OP posts:
LauraT94 · 08/03/2021 10:53

@Pettylamby I can definitely see that!! Could just be a later implantation than you thought?! You could also be one of the people who test stronger in the afternoon/later in the day! If you have the spare pennies and prime so you can get them quickly, I 100% recommend these tests! They're showing up just as strong as the FRERs! And far cheaper.

@Neady1980 @AMS19 @DMT1982 @Mellous @Pettylamby @PlantMummy87 thank you all! I'm only 10dpo today so still plenty of room for lots of dark line progression haha! I'm going to share with my mum today as I just need someone else to talk to about it all other than my OH!

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 10:46

Fingers crossed for you @Pettylamby 💕
