@jodielouise26 so sorry to hear about your loss. We've all had miscarriages at around the same time as you and have been supporting each other through it. On my first cycle after my super heavy period I started using OPKs from CD5 just in case, as you can sometimes ovulate earlier than usual! Best of luck!

jodielouise26 · 09/03/2021 07:11

Good Morning Ladies 💜

Huge congratulations to the BFPs! 🌈
This thread seems very lucky!

Hope you don't mind me joining in.

I had a MC end of January around 11/12 weeks.. AF arrived 4th March; all done and dusted with that this morning!

My cycle has always been a bit hit and miss..
When do we think I should start doing OPKs?

I'm hoping this is my month; I've informed the OH of the upcoming agenda (we didn't really try as such last time) this time he knows that we are really ttc now.

Sending lots of baby dust to you all 🌈✨

@Pettylamby I’m so sorry darling my posts have just caught up and I’ve seen your update.

Chemicals are so cruel and is still a loss even though early on. This is such a lucky group though not just for BFPs but for support and we are all rooting for each other and here for each other xxxx

DMT1982 · 09/03/2021 07:02

@glowingtwig yesssssss fantastic news on your BFP this is such a lucky group xxxx

Mellous · 09/03/2021 06:45

@SuzieDeLaTour I was thinking the same, should I book to see someone just to ask about aspirin. It's tough, on one hand people are saying it can't hurt, then one lady I spoke to said she was specifically told following a scan it probably would have increased her chances of a miscarriage! So honestly torn....

@Pettylamby I'm so so sorry. That's just too cruel 💔 think of it like this, your body is now clever enough to know that wasn't a viable pregnancy, and rather than making you go through weeks just to lose it, it protected you. I know it's rubbish, but honestly this is better than getting to 9/10 weeks for it not to work out (which is what would have happened this time). Your body is making embryos which is fab, then checking them to make sure they are perfect. So next time one does implant and stick it probably means it's top quality xx

dippyegg32 · 09/03/2021 05:34

@Pettylamby oh lovely chemicals are just so cruel. Take your time. It sounds like you have a very pragmatic and positive approach to it all. Lots of love.

Pettylamby · 09/03/2021 05:02

Morning ladies

Well AF woke me up at 3am so looks like a chemical for me. Had a good cry in bed for a while and then set to work on Google and have some vit b6 ordered to try and lengthen my luteal phase a bit more from 10days! Trying to take some positives for this month in that we fertilised an egg, but so incredibly sad that it implanted too late for my LP to allow it to stick around! 😔

Sugarskulllover · 08/03/2021 22:33

So great to see so many BFP's for you all!

I'm not totally sure how my cycle is atm following my MC just a couple of weeks ago. I'm tracking using Flo which says I'm CD14 and supposed to ovulate today so we have DTD all weekend. I'm not getting my hopes up but staying positive Smile

Ralala · 08/03/2021 22:21

Cd13 for me. Busy week for hubs and I 😂

Ralala · 08/03/2021 22:20

Congratulations @glowingtwig

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 22:02

@AMS19 my consultant told me not to bother with aspirin but I’m thinking maybe I should give it a go too!? Ahhhh it’s hard to know what to do. My GP is a bit rubbish so probably won’t help much in answering that and I don’t want to have to pay to see my consultant again for one question 😂 x

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 21:56

@glowingtwig ahhhh congratulations!! That’s amazing! Another BFP - we are on a roll! So happy for all you ladies enjoying those BFPs! X

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:55

Thanks @glowingtwig I do hope it comes to nothing but I think for self preservation I'm just assuming AF may arrive, and if she doesn't then everytbing from then on is a bonus! 🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻 Xx

glowingtwig · 08/03/2021 21:41

Thank you everyone ☺️

@Pettylamby I spotted with DD the days leading up to AF and she was fine. So i don't get too scared over spotting really early on. I didn't spot at all at the start with my last two mc so I'm almost hoping I do get a bit of brown spotting as that was the case in my one successful pregnancy. ❤️

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:38

Ahh thank you @Seasalt1984! Hopefully lots more to come in the next few months! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:36

Ahhhh @glowingtwig another one!!! That's a great line!! I'm still tentative about mine and had some spotting tonight and AF due tomorrow so we'll see what happens! But this thread has really lifted my spirits! 😘🌈

Seasalt1984 · 08/03/2021 21:10

@glowingtwig and @pettylamby so glad to see you're BFPs!!! So wonderful that it's happening for so many of this group! Keeping everything crossed for you both 🤞🤞 xx

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:07

Congrats again @glowingtwig I'm SO over the moon with all these BFPs they are giving me all the good feels ❤❤

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:05

Can't hurt even!

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:05

@Summersun001 I've been going back and forth on whether to take aspirin or not. Some places say it can't help, others say they were told it could be dangerous! So I'm totally torn. Have you asked any professional or did you just go for it? I've bought them so I'm tempted. I've only had one miscarriage though so maybe I should wait and see if I have another then take them 🤷‍♀️

Summersun001 · 08/03/2021 21:01

@glowingtwig wow! Congrats lovely!

I must admit I’ve started to take aspirin and a higher dose of folic acid. I took the plunge and decided to take the aspirin just after ovulation, so I will hopefully speak to the Midwife about it. My test lines were much stronger than previous at this stage though, so we will see. I don’t think I will be prescribed anything at this stage as it was my first mc. I’m really hoping this baby dust spreads ladies!! xx

Mellous · 08/03/2021 20:44

@glowingtwig wow another one!!! What a few days we’ve had for amazing news. Congrats lovely xxx

@Pettylamby @Summersun001 @LauraT94 congratulations!!!!

Here's my pic at 11DPO.

So anxious already so just going to have to try to put it out of my mind now. I'll call the GP tomorrow morning though as I know I'm supposed to take progesterone and aspirin this pregnancy.

I wonder if the recurrent mc clinic will still scan me now and do the second bloods?! I think that's adding to my anxiety.

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 20:23

@Cienega sorry to hear you’re going through this. Hope you’re feeling ok after your surgery this morning. I also had surgery like you and was advised to wait one cycle until trying again but that appears to be more for dating purposes than anything to do with harming a future pregnancy. I had a miscarriage in 2018 and conceived my little one three weeks after my surgery without a period and he was absolutely fine! X
@Bowwow89 sorry you’ve had to join this thread 😢 I’ve had two miscarriages and surgery both times. With my first I tried straightaway and conceived immediately but with this one I chose to wait. I had my first period at 5 weeks and now waiting for ovulation to kick in so I can try this month. So far not appearing and I’m testing like a crazy lady!! 😩😂 I think anxiety unfortunately is going to be part of any future pregnancy BUT each pregnancy is its own individual bubba with its own path and theres absolutely no reason why one miscarriage will lead to another 😘
