Re Pom juice I have about 200ml eve Urdu because it’s about £4 a bottle so it lasts longer that way and I think 200ml is around a very small glass worth xx

DMT1982 · 11/03/2021 11:49

@AMS19 ah I remember you’re planning things without pregnancy in mind but when you do get up duffed it’ll all just work around it, great idea.

In that case I would be more than happy to jump on a train to London Town and go for a 10k run somewhere, maybe a park or along the river? Xx

PlantMummy87 · 11/03/2021 11:38

@AMS19 that's a good idea with mixing it with nuts and yoghurt.
It really is never ending isn't it. Will all be totally worth it though xx

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 11:33

@PlantMummy87 I've mixed them with crushed mix nuts and have them with yoghurt for breakfast! Nearly time for the pineapple core to come out now too. Its never ending 🙄

PlantMummy87 · 11/03/2021 11:27

Thanks @AMS19 that is good to know. I'll continue on until around implantation. I've also been seed cycling this cycle, I always find this half with the sesame seeds so much harder!

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 11:25

@PlantMummy87 oh fingers crossed for 2 more temp rises 🤞
I drink pom after my period stops through to when implantation would happen. I figure after that point it can't really do too much good. But as you say, no harm in it. Its an Antioxidant so great generally for cells and egg quality! I havent been having the seeds but they are so nice go for it. I'm doing seed cycling so just about remembering those...

PlantMummy87 · 11/03/2021 11:21

Just wanted to ask, for those that drink POM juice, do you stop after ovulation or keep going with it? If so when do you stop in the cycle? I mean it's nice to drink so I guess no harm in continuing? Also do you just have POM juice or does eating the seeds help too? I've been drinking POM juice crazily since cd 4 but also incorporating pomegranate seeds into my breakfast each morning in a smoothie or on porridge. Wasn't sure if it would make any difference but I guess it can't hurt?

PlantMummy87 · 11/03/2021 11:00

@TheHotelCalifornia that's so lovely of your company and for you to choose Tommy's as the charity 💕

@AMS19 I would absolutely be up for doing a sponsored run with you ladies. If we can't do it before we can always do it after we've had our rainbow babies. Would be lovely to meet.

@SuzieDeLaTour I'm in a similar boat. Still getting high LH tests since Tuesday. Had a temp rise this morning though, so maybe ovulated yesterday, just need tomorrow and Saturday rises to confirm it. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 10:41

@SuzieDeLaTour remind me, are you BBT tracking as well? Having a long peak isn't massively uncommon, just need to keep at it for longer 😂😂 mine are sharp short peaks so back to 0 pretty quick but I know plenty of ladies who can have a few days of a high reading! You're definitely not pregnant are you? Xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 11/03/2021 10:22

@dippyegg32 oh I bet going back into school to a full class has hit you like a tonne of bricks! Try to take it easy this weekend.
I’m still ovulating I think!? Three days of positive OPKs and we had sex on Tuesday and yesterday so fingers crossed! 🤞

SuzieDeLaTour · 11/03/2021 10:17

@AMS19 third day of stark positive Opks!? The thing is I never paid this much attention to them while TTC last time - once I saw a positive I just went for it 😂 I didn’t bother testing again afterwards so this may well be my norm! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Great idea about a run - I can’t actually run for toffee but if I can walk / limp / stumble my way through I would be up for it!! And would be so lovely to meet in real life x
@TheHotelCalifornia that’s lovely you’ve booked things in to have something to look forward to. Also so lovely of you to donate to Tommy’s and great that your work do that ☺️

SuzieDeLaTour · 11/03/2021 10:12

@Jujujuberry oh love I can only imagine 2 in a row must be so distressing but I do know lots of mums who also had two in a row sometimes before ever having a baby and sometimes between children and they all had a happy ending. Know that you’re doing everything you possibly can to make this happen for you and you’re clearly bossing it at work!! So lots of reasons to be proud of yourself xx

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 08:24

@DMT1982 makes sense. I'm ignoring the fact I might get pregnant again but agree. Let's see where we all are at in a couple of months 😊

@Ralala got everything crossed for you!

@neady1980 eurgh hopefully it's just pregnancy hormones kicking in. I'm the opposite when I'm due on, eat everything in sight!

Neady1980 · 11/03/2021 07:30

10Dpo here, definitely think AF is going to be early. I havent slept properly the last two nights as my stomach has been doing somersaults, back and legs aching which always get worse when I go to bed 😭😭.
I lost the head with OH and my Mam yesterday over nothing and my appetite has disappeared. Dont know what's going on with my hormones 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ralala · 11/03/2021 07:21

Hey! Cd16 here. Lots of normal ovulation signs but my temps are very high or very low.... I’m not doing opks so goodness knows what’s going on there. We will just keep plodding on. I usually ovulate about now.

Ttc is such a pain isn’t it

DMT1982 · 11/03/2021 06:53

@AMS19 I’m more than happy to do a 10k and donate to Tommy’s however we are all planning on being ‘up-duffed’ very soon so maybe it’ll be better doing it individually while we are not ‘up-duffed’ and posting a photo of our watches or phones to show we’ve run the miles? Xxx

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 06:39

@dippyegg32 yes got confirmed ovulation thanks. Bang on CD13 so back to normal. Not expecting anything from this cycle given all the spotting pre O but great to have ovulated once again and bang on time. Sorry you're feeling rubbish 😔 I cannot imagine leaving the house for work now after a year of working from home! I'd be a right mess 😂😂

dippyegg32 · 11/03/2021 06:04

@AMS19 how are your temps doing? Really hope you got your confirmed O today lovely.

How's everyone doing? Cd21/9dpo for me. Think I'm coming down with something tbh not feeling too clever. First week back actually at work (teacher) has hit me like a train and I literally cannot wait for the weekend!!

AMS19 · 11/03/2021 05:52

@dippyegg32 ha no neither can I! Unless it's around ovulation then I'm bursting with energy! I have actually been doing a step challenge this month with work which has forced me to run most days this month. I was reluctant to join but it's been great at dragging me out the house for fresh air and exercise 🏃‍♀️

dippyegg32 · 11/03/2021 05:28

@AMS19 I can't run for shit but I'm defo up for the challenge for the most wonderful cause especially their #togetherforeverymum campaign right now ❤️

Ralala · 10/03/2021 22:11

@Pettylamby is it worth calling your gp? I don’t know too much about chemicals but I thought your test faded quickly xxx

DMT1982 · 10/03/2021 21:08

@TheHotelCalifornia that’s so lovely of your company to do that and also so lovely of you to think of Tommy’s.

We’ve all used their website for information and support and that’s a charity close to all our hearts xxx

Pettylamby · 10/03/2021 20:56

@TheHotelCalifornia that's amazing about the donation!! 💕

Aww thank you, I'd only had a proper positive test that day and then AF came the next day! I didn't think I'd get that upset , and then I did! Trying to take positives that the sperm met the egg and we made another embryo, but either my LP wasn't long enough to sustain it or my lining wasn't good enough to get a proper implantation!

My 48hr period suggests that latter but who knows!

My FRER test line is about half the darkness of the control line at the moment but fingers crossed it fades soon!

Looks like you've got everything sorted for a good cycle this month! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hopefully Ov comes on time.. Do you usually ovulate late?

AMS19 · 10/03/2021 20:53

@TheHotelCalifornia ahhh that's amazing to hear how well you're doing and amazing to hear about the donation!
This is very random, but was thinking maybe a few of us could sign up for a 10k and raise money for Tommy's. It sounds crazy to suggest something to actually do outside on MN, but my thoughts were 1) what an amazing cause we all Associate with 2) if gives us something to train for 3) feels like a really fitting way to meet.
Not suggesting we have to run the whole thing of course. Anyway, floating the idea out there, no one to commit to now 😊

Also I TOTALLY agree on the point around feeling happy for women who have miscarried. It's so true. I honeslty don't feel a tiny bit of resentment, just hope and love. It's like this awful club but amazing family at the same time. Seeing the BFPs roll in here brings me such joy ❤❤

TheHotelCalifornia · 10/03/2021 20:44

@pettylamby oh my love I’m so sorry to hear about your chemical ☹ I really hope you’re doing okay. Hopefully the FRER will fade quickly, as it can’t have got too high? That’s so shit lovely I’m so sorry ☹

I’m taking B6 and agnus castus to hopefully extend my luteal phase and bring ovulation forward. Tbh it’s a complete headfuck of opinions and research so can’t really recommend it but I have read a lot and B6 in particular is meant to regulate cycles. My luteal phase just gone, post miscarriage, was 11/12, and in October it was 8 so I’m very happy with that. That was mainly the agnus castus though I think as I freaked out taking B6 too so only took it sporadically this cycle.

Hope that helps! I’m not sure it will haha but that’s what I’m taking! 😊
