@AMS19 morning lovely. How’s the head this morning? Prosecco hangovers are the worst so prepare yourself for that. Eat rubbish food and get some fresh air, that’ll make you feel better if you are suffering with skull ache!

Maybe having some time off mumsnet and google would also do you good. It’s an amazing support network on here but equally it’s good to think about other things as well. No one would judge you or think anything of it and once you popped back we would all update you on what had been happening. Only an idea as I know you said google had been your friend and also enemy at the same time. Xxxx

dippyegg32 · 15/03/2021 05:43

Hope your heads not too bad this morning @AMS19 but the Prosecco sounds amazing!!! I take seven seas ttc which has the b6 and folic acid in and tbh I think it's that that's contributed to my cycles getting longer.

Been cramping all night and af is due today so watch this space... Eughh just seen an email from Emma's diary "what to expect now you're 22 weeks pregnant". Smashing Hmm

AMS19 · 14/03/2021 21:52

@Mellous @DMT1982 @wag1987 @SuzieDeLaTour @Pettylamby @LauraT94 thanks ladies I really appreciate all the messages. I had cramps all day so wasn't the biggest of shocks but made me feel massively deflated. And of all days! Did what any sensible 30 something adult would do and got totally drunk on prosecco and danced around my living room and have just woken up for a 3hour nap feeling like death...😂🤦‍♀️🤢. I honestly do really appreciate all the messages. I'm going to get B vitamin complex for next cycle and take that in my LP to help. My ovulation date is fab just need to get that LP extended and stop all the spotting. Right now I want to give it all up, enjoy summer and pick it up again later in the year. Maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow...love to all xx

jodielouise26 · 14/03/2021 21:06

Congratulations @Pettylamby 🤍

I'm waiting for the go ahead for me and the OH to dtd..
I've been testing with opk.
Now on one app it says ovulation 18th... and the other says 22nd.. HELP 😬 I need to prepare the other half..

Would it be best to just go with what my opk says? Or go with the app as well as the OPKs?

I've attached photos of what the apps say for
Ovulation...
I've also attached my OPKs this week ...

xx

The below comment was for you also @Mellous but your name didn't tag. Sorry you were upset today :(

wag1987 · 14/03/2021 20:41

@SuzieDeLaTour thank you il keep my fingers crossed and let you know after my TWW. Il do my research for testing for next month if not successful this month. Strange to think had I not miscarried I would be nearly half way through my pregnancy now and now we are having to start all over again.

I will say though us women are incredible just think what our bodies can do.

Sorry to hear you had a little cry today it is an emotional roller coaster.

Mellous · 14/03/2021 20:25

@SuzieDeLaTour thank you sweet, I even found myself crying in Morrison’s car park this morning! What a day, eh. My husband is lovely sometimes he struggles to know what to say or do to help. But plenty of cuddles off the husband and the dog and speaking to you guys always helps xx

@dippyegg32 definitely a line there and they're looking like my early tests!

@Pettylamby ahhhh test twins haha! ❤️ I think it's finally sinking in for me! Can't believe the journey you've been on this week but I'm so happy for you!

@SuzieDeLaTour @Mellous thank you!

LauraT94 · 14/03/2021 20:14

@AMS19 thinking of you ❤️ if this is early AF, definitely don't give up! There's lots you can do to lengthen LP (B vits i believe? I know the ladies in the post-pill chat could let you know!). But more than likely your body is just trying adjust after the trauma ❤️ my fingers are crossed that this was just IB or random spotting for you!

Pettylamby · 14/03/2021 20:12

@dippyegg32 if I've learnt anything this week its that anything is possible!! There is 100% a line there! How many dpo now? Test again tomorrow afternoon? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh @AMS19 I'm sorry! Is it for sure your period? Please don't be disheartened, your body has been through a lot! Could it have been implantation!? 💕

SuzieDeLaTour · 14/03/2021 20:06

@Mellous I’m so sorry you’re having such a tough day my darling - I found myself crying this morning out of nowhere! I hope you feel better for it and your DH offered the comfort and support you need. We’ve got each other’s backs here, we can do this!! X

SuzieDeLaTour · 14/03/2021 20:04

@wag1987 I take it that you’re still fertile as long as your tests show positive. I know clearblue says you’ll be fertile for the next 48 hours but I think it very much depends on the person and their individual cycle. You could test 12/24 hours into your peak without knowing and then you might only be fertile for the next 24 hours if that makes sense? Judging by your tests and when you had sex, you pretty much covered yourself this cycle so it’s just a matter of fingers crossed for a sticky bean! X

SuzieDeLaTour · 14/03/2021 19:59

@AMS19 oh love I’m so sorry! Are you sure it’s not an implantation bleed or just general spotting like you had before? Might not mean you’re definitely out this month? But if you are, I think @DMT1982 said it beautifully - don’t give up hope yet. It’s so disheartening when you’re desperate for something to happen and your period arrives but you’ve been through a massive trauma and sometimes our body needs that bit longer to adjust and recover 😘

dippyegg32 · 14/03/2021 19:52

@AMS19 ❤️❤️❤️

wag1987 · 14/03/2021 19:47

@AMS19 yes I reiterate what @DMT1982 has said. Your body has been through so much so don't give up. Your feelings are perfectly justified

wag1987 · 14/03/2021 19:46

@SuzieDeLaTour I hope so 🤞

I thought the ovulation test would show your peak meaning the next 48hours are most fertile but then when I read on google if the test is lighter after the peak means already ovulated. So does this mean when I had peak on clear blue and positive on cheapy I had already ovulated or still fertile. So confused. I've never really tracked before so confusing me a bit. Plus my DH is finding it hard because he's doesn't want scheduled Baby dancing as too much pressure.

DMT1982 · 14/03/2021 19:38

@AMS19 please don’t give up until autumn. Your body and mind went through a massive trauma just over 12 weeks ago and for weeks before that so it will take a while to settle down. I fell pregnant straight after my miscarriage at 5.5 weeks without having a period and then miscarried again at 9.5 weeks. In hindsight I should have given myself time for my body to heal. I know a lot of ladies do go onto have successful pregnancies straight after a miscarriage but everyone is different and this doesn’t mean your body is letting you down or not going to get back to normal it’s just finding it’s feet and will get there. You’re allowed to be anxious, angry, upset and whatever else you’re feeling but don’t give to hope that your body will sort itself out and get back on that horse xxx

Mellous · 14/03/2021 19:25

@AMS19 oh no, was it full on af bleeding? Please don’t be too disheartened. I know it somehow feels like a lifetime ago (for me anyways!!), it still is really early days after our mc’s and our bodies have been through a lot. Could you speak to your GP about your short LP? Maybe they have some advice that could help?

I’ve just spent the last hour sobbing to my husband. It’s all so so hard xx

AMS19 · 14/03/2021 18:17

I'm out for this cycle. Had some bleeding earlier on 6DPO. God my body is a mess! Who starts bleeding 6 days into their LP?! Ah well, I think I've accepted its just not meant to be for me and to enjoy summer and start trying again in the autumn xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 14/03/2021 18:17

@dippyegg32 ahhh definitely still in the game!! Yay!!
Gosh I’m only 4 DPO and I’m already itching to test despite telling myself to wait until my period was due 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ It’s going to be a looooong week! X

Quinn26 · 14/03/2021 18:16

Hi there

Hope its ok to join. I had a MMC in January and ended up needing a MVA.

Currently in first proper cycle since MC. I've started using clear blue ovulation sticks, no positive yet but going with my cycle it may be more likely Tuesday or Wed I peak. No idea if I'm using them correctly, sometimes I try in the morning but I read your LH levels are lower so have switched to early evening. Whats everyone else experience with them?

Its nice to have a page to chat with other people going through it as I feel like my OH and family just want to move on and don't mention what has happened.

Really nice to see those BFP on the page xx

AMS19 · 14/03/2021 18:16

@dippyegg32 definitely still in! 100000%!!

Mellous · 14/03/2021 17:31

@dippyegg32 I think you’re very much still in! x

@dippyegg32 I can def see a slight line on bottom, I too get darker lines in afternoon, wishing you every luck hun, ur not out yet!

dippyegg32 · 14/03/2021 17:02

Any remote chance I could still be in after all? Top is yesterday, bottom just now. I'm one of the minority who gets darker lines in the afternoon. Fmu is always rubbish. Can anyone see the tiniest tiniest improvement between the two?
