Thanks @PlantMummy87 I think I'm driving myself mad with testing! Your right ill go to the end of the week then stop if nothing appears.

I need to chill out a bit I think as its the first proper cycle since MC but that's easier said than done! Good luck with your tww fingers crossed 🤞 for you xx

glowingtwig · 16/03/2021 09:44

Thanks everyone ❤️

@yepstilltrying I'm 19 DPO, had it done yesterday at 18 DPO. Then will be repeated Thursday. I know it's not going to give me certainty but it might settle the anxiety a bit if the results are ok. Prepare me if not I guess.
I'm sorry that the line looks lighter... the HCG might give you some reassurance though.

@Mellous sorry about AF 😔 on to a new cycle!!

PlantMummy87 · 16/03/2021 09:38

Hi @Quinn26 sorry you are going through this. It is super stressful isn't it.

My first cycle post mc in Dec I ovulated super late, with my peak being on cd 25. I'm normally around cd 15. I was convinced I wasn't going to ovulate that month, and decided a date to stop ovulation tests if I didn't see a change. The day I was going to stop, cd 22 or 23, I actually started getting stronger lines on the OPKs so decided to keep going, but if the lines hadn't been improving I would have stopped as wasn't good for my stress levels. I did have an odd cycle though that cycle as had spotting on and off up until around cd 17 which I never have. The cycle following this (the one I'm in now) has been so much more normal, I had a heavy period so had a good clear out, and have peaked on cd 15 as usual, just in the tww now. I was surprised that things have gone from a super weird and long cycle my norm straight after, so perhaps that will happen to you too.

I would suggest maybe setting yourself a date of when you will stop using OPKs too if you don't see a change this month to give yourself a break and then start again the following cycle when things may have stabilised a little bit more.

Well ladies, back to CD1 for me, AF has started this morning!

@gizmo167 I'm feeling the same today :( really down and just can't be bothered with another month of ttc. Makes me want to give up xx

OP posts:
yepstilltrying · 16/03/2021 09:26

@glowingtwiggood luck with the HCG. How many DPO are you? I'm having mine taken on Friday but I'm sure my line is lighter today :-(

gizmo167 · 16/03/2021 09:24

@glowingtwig sending positive vibes hun for the results x

@dippyegg32 definitely getting darker lovely, could just be a bit early to show clear, fc and cramping could just be implantation.

Me, CD31 today, feeling a lot more like AF on its way, just want to know now, fairly sure it wont be positive news and tbh feeling really down about the whole thing now and just want to give up!

Mellous · 16/03/2021 09:15

@glowingtwig thinking of you!

Thanks @Quinn26 - good luck for this cycle!

@SuzieDeLaTour thank you, love. I just want to know now, even if it's not good news. But I could wait all day for them to ring. I just feel awful.

Still got the sore boobs and sort of an 'awareness' or my cervix if that makes sense? I didn't have that with the last two pregnancies so hoping that's a good sign. I didn't go with the progesterone this time but if today's is a high result I might request them for Thursday. X

SuzieDeLaTour · 16/03/2021 09:07

@glowingtwig good lock today my love! We are all rooting for you!! Did you decide to go for the progesterone one too? X

Quinn26 · 16/03/2021 08:50

@glowingtwig definitely stressful! Last time I came off the pill and concieved 4 months without tracking anything just followed the clue app but I think we just got lucky. Thats a good idea regarding my GP I will test the rest of this week and hopefully get that static smile :) good luck with your results, fingers crossed they are all good for you!

I'll get us to DTD the next few nights although I think I have knackered him out the last week haha!!

glowingtwig · 16/03/2021 08:43

I'm a bundle of nerves today waiting for the GP to call with my HCG results. I'm hiding away in my office with a churning stomach and the shivers. So awful having to get my head in to teaching and not even being able to answer the phone if she calls during a lesson.

I'm hating this level of anxiety, it's so awful. 😢

glowingtwig · 16/03/2021 08:42

@Quinn26 it's so stressful isn't it? Sorry to read about your mc. My ovulation has always been late following mc. If you're getting a bit of pain in that area it may be that your ovaries are starting to gear up towards ovulation but your cycle has just been a bit thrown out.

I'd keep testing with opks and if you don't get a surge this month try your GP for day 21 (or your equivalent) progesterone.

Quinn26 · 16/03/2021 08:35

Hi ladies

Looking for some advice.

This is my first cycle since my MMC in Dec following a MVA in Jan. AF took about 7 weeks to return. Decided to track ovulation this month using CB 2 days, however on CD19 and still nothing :( according to apps I follow ovulation should occur today/tomorrow I normally have a 33 day cycle. I've tested this morning and no LH surge so will try again this afternoon. I did notice some ewcm last night and pelvic pain on one said most of the day yesterday. OH was too tired last night so hoping I can convince him tonight!

Has anyone else had issues with ovulation following a MC? Worried i might not be ovulating this month xx

Gosh I’ve missed alot on here, we do like a good chat!

@AMS19 I found getting stuck into something creative helped me keep my mind off ttc, even if its doing one of those adult colouring books, or a puzzle 🧩 I’m so glad the normal acupuncture is helping you now!! I also felt my 2nd fertility acupuncture appointment wasn't that good, she made my hand achy with one of the needles, so going to stop that now.

I’ve booked myself up too, going to help at the local Animal shelter with puppies and dogs next week too, so that should be nice, and new job starts tomorrow! We gotta keep busy with other things & then we’ll be pregnant before we know it ❤️

@SuzieDeLaTour haha hold onto your hats hubbies!! Made me laugh 😂

@yepstilltrying Sending you big hugs 🤗 Its just such an emotional journey but it will all be worth it!!

Jujujuberry · 15/03/2021 22:32

@dippyegg32 those lines are getting darker! I agree with the others, can you take a day off work to relax if your cramping is still uncomfortable?

I’ve had some blood tests and they are all coming in normal, so thats good - my GP is referring me to a fertility associate to have a consultation in a few weeks, as we’ve had 2 MC in a row. So I’m hoping they can put my mind at ease, and we can look forward to a BFP and heathy pregnancy, 3rd time lucky they say. I also mentioned to my GP that I was getting acupuncture and he seemed to think I didn’t need it for fertility, and that its good for muscular skeletal pains. So I might discontinue.

Sorry you’ve had to join us here @Notabs & @pickle2020 your in the right place, this thread is great 💓

KJLM · 15/03/2021 21:44

@dippyegg32 bfp lines are looking like they’re on the way! How many dpo are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve only ever tested after missed period.

Pettylamby · 15/03/2021 21:14

@dippyegg32 definite progression there! 💕💕 I've been waiting on your post all evening! Ive had quite a lot of cramps as well, could just be implantation! Try and take each day as it comes, that's what I'm trying to do, not looking forward or back, today I am pregnant and whatever happens tomorrow I can deal with! Xx

yepstilltrying · 15/03/2021 19:43

@dippyegg32 it looks like a strong line to me, fingers crossed no AF for the next 3 days!

dippyegg32 · 15/03/2021 19:32

@yepstilltrying according to my app my period is due today, cd25, but last month was 28 days so I won't consider myself late until/if af arrives by then.

yepstilltrying · 15/03/2021 19:17

@dippyegg32 That's a definite line! How many days until your period are you?

glowingtwig · 15/03/2021 19:07

That's definitely positive at the bottom @dippyegg32 ! I wonder why so crampy though?! I have read in loads of places that cramping is normal but I know it's worrying (and unpleasant).

Could you take the day off work tomorrow if it's still bad? And just have some time to relax?

Mellous · 15/03/2021 18:05

@Notabs @pickle2020 hi both! Of course you can join us! So sorry for what you have both been through xx

OP posts:
Mellous · 15/03/2021 18:01

@dippyegg32 definitely! There’s a clear positive today xx

OP posts:
dippyegg32 · 15/03/2021 17:56

This is the past three days tests including today's at the bottom. I think there's progression (I think?) but the cramping is really worrying me. It's bad. How I got through work I don't know. I'm sooooo bloated.

@AMS19 hola hoops in bed that made me laugh. Oh don’t grow up anytime soon, I’m 38 and still haven’t grown up. I think I got my friend a card once that said ‘growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional’!

I had my massage and she used a thing called cupping on my back and thighs. It was soooo relaxing. I looked up cupping and it is used to increase blood flow to that area to heal so I may ask if she can use it on my tummy area next time as well. Need to book in for a foot rub somewhere as well xxx
