@glowingtwig - Just like all the ladies said I've had a range of cramping and twinges - yesterday I started getting real pelvic pressure like someone had punched me right in the fanny bone and it was bruised!! Not painful but just pressure! I'm telling myself that these are all good things, my body is working hard to make a nice environment for the baby so I'll take a punch in the fanny bone from time to time! 🤣

@LauraT94 ill try and hold off that long! It's been a struggle everyday not to fold and just use the digi and then buy another pack if it's still 2-3! But I do really want to see 3+ first time so I'll stick with my FRERs just now! I ordered an obscene amount so don't feel bad about using them!

I'm glad you've gone back to exercise too, I was feeling a quite anxious about it but I know a girl who's 34 weeks pregnant and ran 6mikes yesterday so I figured a wee 5k trail run and some weights in my garden which my body is well used to wouldn't hurt! My DP even mentioned that I seemed much happier last night as well!

@dippyegg32 how are you today? 💕💕

justwant2beamum · 18/03/2021 08:38

Thanks @SuzieDeLaTour I know such a head fuck!

@cupcakesandglitter sorry you've had to join, what a horrible experience. But like others have said, your dd is proof your body can do it.

@dippyegg32 thinking of you. Like others have said, may not be bad news, your last test looked super positive.

PlantMummy87 · 18/03/2021 08:33

Hi @cupcakesandglitter I'm sorry you've had to come here. It sounds like you've been through so much with 7 miscarriages. My heart goes out to you. The body is amazing and knows what to do, and you will get your second rainbow baby I am sure of it.

@TheHotelCalifornia that is so good to hear you've got your flashy smiley. These things can really bring some brightness to the day can't they. I'm sorry you were triggered by your work, it's really tough, especially if you were expecting it.

@glowingtwig I hope everything goes okay today, and gives your some reassurance. I think emotions of definitely heightened by lack of sleep. Hoping you are maybe able to have an easy, relaxing day after your second today?

LauraT94 · 18/03/2021 08:24

@glowingtwig just popping on to say I'm cramping quite a bit too and it's normal! Someone said to me the other day, you have to think of it like this: essentially the uterus is just a muscle, and the only response it has to any situation is to contract! So any little niggles, all the growing and stretching, hormone surges, increased blood flow etc. Of course it's going to be contracting! Hope that helps settle it in your mind as it did for me. ❤️

@Pettylamby testing twin, I'm hoping for my 3+ on Sunday if you want to stay strong and wait to test with me? 😜🤞🏻 we're exercise twins now too as I've finally got back to doing my yoga this week! With the same rationale you have - I miscarried last time without even doing anything so why bother holding off on yoga?! I need the mindfulness and stress relief!

@dippyegg32 I'm so sorry for the rollercoaster you've been on this week ❤️

@AMS19 really hope you're doing ok xx

To anyone else who's joined this gang, you're definitely in the right place for love and support with your journey ❤️

SuzieDeLaTour · 18/03/2021 08:08

Morning ladies!
@cupcakesandglitter welcome to the group 🤗 gosh it sounds like you’ve been through it - I can’t imagine what suffering 7 MCs must be like. I’ve had two and both times have been awful! But you know your body can do it, your lovely DD is living proof. We are all in this journey together which definitely makes it easier- I find it so helpful having this group of supportive girlies xx
@glowingtwig good luck today! I know you’re feeling incredibly nervous but there’s nothing to suggest anything will go wrong and everything to suggest this little bean is a sticky one! You’ve done so well this week, only 24 hours and hopefully you’ll have the reassurance you need 😘
@dippyegg32 how are you love? X

AMS19 · 18/03/2021 08:08

@glowingtwig I know it's scary but cramping is super common! In fact, I don't know anyone who didn't have it. I had it at the start of my pregnancy quite a lot. Felt very much like my period was about to start and last until about 5.5 weeks. It's the worst symptom I think!

glowingtwig · 18/03/2021 07:48

Morning ladies,

@Pettylamby what does your cramping feel like? I felt sick with worry last night with some cramping, like very mild aches and sort of a twingy feeling cervix, if that makes sense. With dd I had a very distinctive stretchy feeling very different from this. I got into a right state last night fretting about the second HCG test today too, woke up at 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep, then dd was up at 5 😞. So I think tiredness makes everything worse.

Lovely to hear from you @TheHotelCalifornia and how great that your cycles are doing what you want! It is so hard though when work brings up something triggering to do with pregnancy. Look luck this cycle 🤞🏼.

@cupcakesandglitter I'm so sorry to read your traumatic experience. It's so awful to have to go through alone. I understand the feeling of being so grateful to have your wonderful dd but that ache for a second is so intense. It's the feeling of helplessness when you lose a baby that is so wanted. It sounds like your body wanted to be pregnant again though. If you can do it once and create your beautiful dd, you can do it again. That's what I'm telling myself. Although it's terrifying.

@dippyegg32 how are you doing love?

cupcakesandglitter · 17/03/2021 21:55

Hi all... can I join please? Feeling a bit lost. I've just had another miscarriage (my first after having my rainbow baby a year ago). My DD is a miracle baby and I am so grateful, I didn't expect we'd get another BFP.... but I did. Last week - I think I was 6 weeks gone, I was still in shock about getting pregnant and then on Monday I mentioned cramps to my doctor so was referred for a scan on the Tuesday. Shortly after the phone call I started bleeding - I just knew, but I had to go to EPU. They scanned me and showed me I'd already passed the baby ☹️ so traumatic, I was sat in a room crying by myself in a horrible stupid mask all snotty and teary and alone. Bloods and urine came back negative, and that was it. Discharged, heartbroken, traumatised and my body had so quickly got rid of the baby I've so longed for?
I really don't want to offend anyone because I know I'm so so lucky to have a DD, but she came after 7 MC's, a traumatic pregnancy and labour - and I've wanted another since I gave birth!

I feel so traumatised from the scan. From doing it alone, from seeing where my baby would've been, being sat crying by myself.... but I also want to start TTC again. I'm determined not to waste any time but I am so scared of it happening again or taking 1.5 years like with my daughter 😓

TheHotelCalifornia · 17/03/2021 20:34

Sorry I’ve been a bit AWOL guys I’ve been trying to keep distracted in all honesty. It’s bloody tough this, isn’t it. I had a call at work today with a client (big lingerie manufacturer, I write scripts for e-learning) and we spent 20 minutes discussing maternity bras. I keep feeling all hot and anxious and then when I got off the call I just burst into tears. It honestly hits you so unexpectedly doesn’t it.

Anyway. I actually was in a great mood up until that point as I got a flashing smiley on a Clearblue digital ovulation test! I start taking it 2 days ago on CD11 as figured there are 20 tests in the box so couldn’t hurt really. Got 2 days of blank circles and then to my absolute shock a flashing smiley today, CD13! Bear in mind my last ovulation day was CD44! And the earliest I’d had before then was CD26! I was honestly so happy I could have cried! I ran downstairs and showed DH and told him we need to BD for the next however many days now ha! He’s over the moon haha but I’m just hoping he won’t feel under pressure now! Ideally I wouldn’t have told him but I was so happy I had to, and he also said he would have noticed if I instigated BD for like 7 days in a row. So that’s where I’m at. Not sure how many flashing days I’ll have but hopefully it means ovulation is on it’s way. Just can’t believe it after having such long cycles. Hopefully this means my B6 and agnus castus is doing it’s job.

Pettylamby · 17/03/2021 20:30

@AMS19 I'm trying to hold out till the weekend! Saturday or Sunday I think! I'm feeling okay, mild nausea, boobs have grown and I'm cramping on and off along with pelvic pressure occasionally!

I decided to get back to my regular exercise today so went on a wee run/jog and did some weights in the garden! Figured that I totally stopped last time and I miscarried anyway so decided to give it a go for my sanity this time!

TheHotelCalifornia · 17/03/2021 20:25

Oh @dippyegg32 I’m so sorry lovely. Keeping everything crossed that it’s just harmless bleeding. Please keep posting on here and keep us updated, don’t struggle alone. We are here for you. Sending you so much love and positivity.

AMS19 · 17/03/2021 20:24

@Mellous I'm okay thanks lovely just trying to keep the mind in check a bit

@Pettylamby eeek not too long. How are you feeling? Got everything crossed for your 3+!!! When are you testing??

Pettylamby · 17/03/2021 20:09

@AMS19 1st of April! Two weeks tomorrow! Still just taking it a day at a time! Tests have continued to show progression and I've got one final digital so hoping I get my 3+ weeks soon!

Remind me where you are in your cycle again? I'm so bad at keeping up!

Yeah saw both binky and Louise Thompson posts - I'm so glad they are bringing a bit more awareness to it! 💕

PlantMummy87 · 17/03/2021 20:07

@dippyegg32 sending you lots of love 💕

Mellous · 17/03/2021 20:06

@AMS19 hey love, was wondering where you were and if you’re okay! I’ve not seen those posts I’ll have a look.

@dippyegg32 oh lovely, I really hope it’s not AF for you. It could be a similar situation to @Pettylamby But we are are here for you whatever the outcome xxx

@DMT1982 it's great. More and more "celebrities" are opening up about it and making it all feel more normal. Which we knew anyway but nice to get the reassurance. Especially when they've had successful pregnancies since xx

DMT1982 · 17/03/2021 19:44

@AMS19 I saw an article in the daily mail about a couple who suffered a miscarriage early on and I thought the same how lovely of them to open up about it. I didn’t know who they were though but assumed they were famous as they were in the paper xx

DMT1982 · 17/03/2021 19:42

@dippyegg32 sending you a massive hug xxxx

AMS19 · 17/03/2021 19:26

@Pettylamby when do you have your EPU appointment lovely?

Sorry I've been quiet I've been dipping in and out. Did anyone see Louise from Made in Chelsea's Instagram post? And Binky too! Amazing how many ladies are now talking about it more and more. It's great xx

AMS19 · 17/03/2021 19:18

@dippyegg32 ❤❤❤❤

Pettylamby · 17/03/2021 19:16

Oh @dippyegg32 I'm sorry you've started bleeding, I don't want to get your hopes up because it might well be AF, but remember what happened to me last week... Positive tests... Bled for a day and a bit.. Convinced it was AF and then my tests continued to get darker! Xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 17/03/2021 18:57

@justwant2beamum I think the test on the right looks much lighter!! It’s a weird one - first desperate for a negative test then absolutely dying for a positive! What a headf**k!! X

SuzieDeLaTour · 17/03/2021 18:56

@dippyegg32 oh I’m so sorry lovely 😢 those tests look so promising I think you can’t rule anything out right now - our bodies are doing all sorts of strange things! Can you ask your EPU for a blood test? So you know for sure what’s going on? Really rooting for you xx

glowingtwig · 17/03/2021 18:54

Oh @dippyegg32 I'm so sorry, I was so hopeful for you 💔

Sending tons of hugs x

dippyegg32 · 17/03/2021 18:50

I've started bleeding guys.
