Hi @Spotsmama I’m so sorry you are here, everything you said is true about your feelings, your been through a huge emotional trauma, and twice too. I also have had two in a row, and its awful. It looks like there is a new thread link for this group posted above. Pm me if you want to have someone to chat too xx

Spotsmama · 18/04/2021 20:37

Hi all, I am just over 5 weeks since my loss and still on/off bleeding. This was our second loss, I am finding it really hard to deal with. How do you stay positive and want to keep trying with the fear this may happen again? Physically it was the hardest thing I've gone through but emotionally I can't manage. Don't sleep, I haveno appetite and I'm dreadful to my poor husband. I don't want to speak to anyone or do anything but force myself to get up and get on with things but as soon as I'm on my own I'm a mess.

Hi ladies,
I am very new here. Looking for a support group, although virtual, to get through this period. I feel a bit lonely as I don't have many friends I can talk to about this. I have recently miscarried at 11wk, and all I can think about is to get pregnant again! I feel obsessed and this is not healthy!
I know that unfortunately miscarriages are very common, but I don't know anyone going through that (but I have many pregnant/new mums among my friends)...it will help to know that I am not alone...

JenTTC · 26/03/2021 00:27

Hi ladies, hope its ok for me to join in! I had a misscarriage on the 7th march this year, and some of the conversations ive been reading seem really helpful!
Good luck to everyone! ♡

Mellous · 22/03/2021 11:07

@AMS19 yes please!

@No1worrier that sounds like a really tough week ahead. I'm so sorry. I really hope it brings you some form of closure. Be kind to yourself and take whatever you need to help mentally.
I'm drinking raspberry leaf tea to help balance hormones but I'm only taking until ovulation as I understand it can cause issues with implantation. Sending you so much love xx

Ladies - the thread is about to run out. @Mellous do you want me to create another one? Xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 22/03/2021 11:02

@PlantMummy87 really good line progression!
Looking promising ❤️
@No1worrier that’s lovely you have a break planned. Sounds like a really good thing for you both. I’m glad your work is supportive and your DH’s too, thank god you don’t have that pressure to worry about. I cannot imagine what planning a cremation must be like, my heart breaks for you 💔 x

No1worrier · 22/03/2021 10:52

Thank you everyone for being so welcoming, you seem a lovely bunch just by reading your posts.

It took us a year to conceive my daughter, however, only the last 2 cycles we used some supplements, I bbt and opks. I will be doing the same but wasn't sure if I should start my supplements immediately. I'm guessing I should? My heads a bit scrambled sorry. I will probably wait until my first AF to use opks and bbt.

I will start using pregnancy tests today, I have some cheap ones left, to see the lines fade. I am building myself up to do this because I think it will be hard for me to see 💔.

Does anyone drink raspberry leaf tea? I've heard this can help build up the lining of the uterus. Wondering if I should give it a try after childbirth and a d&c?

We are arranging my baby girls cremation this week 💔, and I have been given as much time off my work as I need. Luckily my partner works for a great company that gives him full pay sick leave for however long he wants. So he can be with me the full time I am off. We have booked a little get away for start of May when things (should) be easing where I live, glad to have something to look forward to and if my AF returns mid April then it could be good timing for fertile week. Not getting ahead of myself though as it is a break we both need and not to worry about ttc x

Mellous · 22/03/2021 10:40

congrats @PlantMummy87, lines looking lovely and dark x

@PlantMummy87 lovely looking lines!

Quinn26 · 22/03/2021 10:17

@PlantMummy87 those look like fabulous progession lines. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I think with any pregnancy after a MC its going to be full of worry until you hit the 12 week mark. I feel so naive with my last one I didn't think one minute that anything would go wrong.

I'm finally on tww so I will try stay patient! I do feel alot better now after getting a smile on the OPK and even if it doesn't happen this cycle I feel my body is recovering and doing what it should do

gizmo167 · 22/03/2021 10:16

@PlantMummy87 thats lovely progression lines hun, try not to worry, easier said than done I know! I had some brown spotting with my DD and all was fine! With my two mc's I just knew something was wrong before the spotting started!

gizmo167 · 22/03/2021 10:14

Anyone have really bad clotting on their first AF after mc? I didnt first time around but this one has been horrendous, have passed clots the size of my palm! (sorry tmi!)

gizmo167 · 22/03/2021 10:14

@AMS19 unfortunately due to my age, I will be 43 tomorrow so it was my cut-off age!

PlantMummy87 · 22/03/2021 10:06

Hi everyone, my heart goes out to those that have joined us. You are absolutely in the right place with such a supportive, empowering group of women. I don't know where I'd be without them 💕

I have so many pages to catch up on and will do tonight when I'm on the laptop as so much easier!

@SuzieDeLaTour I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling hopeful this month. Really hoping that the new cycle is the one for you if this one isn't already. 🤞

@Pettylamby I'm so sorry you are feeling worried. As you said I'm sure it is implantation bleeding or women do sometimes have small bleeds in the first trimester that are completely normal and fine, but it is so hard in that moment to stop your mind from racing. I did a lot of reading over the weekend about bleeding/spotting in early pregnancy, as was worried myself, and it helped me feel a bit more reasured, but completely understand if that isn't for you as too much reading/googling also can go the opposite way can't it. I'm feeling very much like you where I'd rather go for a scan a little later if possible couldn't deal with being there and there being ambiguity. Really hoping for you the next few days and weeks leading up to your scan go okay.

Thanks everyone for the supportive messages on Saturday. I'm hoping it was just a little bit of implantation spotting. I only had a tiny bit of Saturday and then an even tinier bit yesterday. I never got this in my last pregnancy so it scared me a lot, but trying to think now that it is just them getting nice and comfy and secure in there. It is so nerve wracking as every time I go to the bathroom I'm so frightened I'll see blood and not sure I'm ever going to get that thought out of my head. My tests do seem to be darkening quite well (I included a pic, but completely understand if you don't want to see, I'm so sorry if it is triggering to anyone) and getting a few symptoms now. I'm approaching when AF would have been due as 12dpo today, last month I got AF at 13dpo. Just hoping I pass that hurdle and then can focus on getting to the next one one day at a time.

Recent MC - New cycles & trying again
AMS19 · 22/03/2021 09:57

Sorry to hear that @gizmo167 sorry to ask but please remind me why you have a deadline? I know its hard to not put pressure on it but our bodies are figuring themselves out and it won't be long I'm sure 🙏🤞

gizmo167 · 22/03/2021 09:49

CD1 for me ladies, had awful cramps most of the day yesterday so that ended the need for a test and she's here this morning! Gutted but well I did expect it. Countdown is on now, 3 months and thats my ttc journey over :(

@No1worrier lovely I am so very sorry, youve been through an awful time, fc that rainbow baby will be around very soon! No reason to wait unless the Drs said not to, I just jumped back in after my 2 mc's, I didnt get my BFP until a year after the first and I'm only on my first AF since the last mc x

Ralala · 22/03/2021 09:44

@Seasalt1984 I’m due on Friday although first Cycle post AF after my mc. Hoping it’s just a normal length! I have ovulated but can’t pin point when as cycle was a little up and down xx

Seasalt1984 · 22/03/2021 09:32

@pettylamby oh bless you, like the others have said it sounds a really common feature of lots of pregnancies but completely get the fear it is setting off for you. Keeping everything crossed all is well xx

@ralala whereabouts are you in TWW?? I'm about half way through, 7/8 DPO and 7 days until AF due.

Ralala · 22/03/2021 08:36

Good morning ladies! I have so many pages to catch up on today. Nothing to report from me . In the tww. Having slightly longer cycles mean I never have a cycle twin haha! Xxx

AMS19 · 22/03/2021 08:33

@Pettylamby I totally get that! It's so frustrating when mentally you've let yourself relax then you get bolted back to reality. I had spotting in my last pregnancy at 5+6 and everything was fine after (it was in no way related to my mmc). It was baby snuggling in and they could even see the little bleed on the scan. It's so so so common! Which I know doesn't make it less scary at all. The advice I was given after mine was to relax physically as much as possible xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 22/03/2021 08:33

@Pettylamby I completely get that, any bleeding is frightening despite it being pretty common. A week and a half away must feel like a lifetime but hopefully the spotting stops, you’re able to feel better about things and keep yourself busy and distracted! Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Pettylamby · 22/03/2021 08:24

Thanks @AMS19 and @SuzieDeLaTour - it's so hard! I just feel like I'm back on edge. I don't think I'm gonna phone EPU, I'm only 5+3 and i dont want to go for a scan which could be ambiguous! I'd rather just wait until a stage where it would be a difinitive answer! My epu scan is booked for 6+6 so I will know for definate then, just seems like a million years away!

I know that light spotting is considered nothing to worry about and it was literally just on the toilet paper but I was just starting to let myself relax and get a little hope after my 3+ yesterday but now I'm back to being guarded and terrified there's something wrong! ☹️
