This is my puss, he’s called Cat Stevens like the singer 😂 I also have two dogs.

Flowers222 · 08/03/2021 17:46

@ChinChilly I'm so so sorry you have started bleeding, it is really awful when it happens. Are you having cramps as well? I hate to say this but to me it is sounding similar to my chemical where I started spotting the day after I got a positive on a digital and got watery brown discharge. It then became proper red bleeding and the tests went negative. Though I had bad cramps even before the spotting so felt like something wasn't right. It's absolutely heartbreaking. Hopefully for you this is just normal bleeding and it stops, I think it's quite common in early pregnancy, but I would take a test in a day or 2 to see if it is still positive and just take some time for yourself with your OH xx

ChinChilly · 08/03/2021 17:01

@Tillybabs quite abit when I wiped, it was reddy brown.

It’s so disheartening to take this long to get pregnant and it’s gone with in a couple of days

Tillybabs · 08/03/2021 16:56

@ChinChilly oh no! How much bleeding are you talking about? Could it possibly be old implantation blood? I’m so sorry XX

Tillybabs · 08/03/2021 16:56

@Kay00 they are so cute! I was thinking you they have the same name as @Juno231 cat which is amazing given the unusual name. Didn’t realise what cat tax meant lol!

ChinChilly · 08/03/2021 16:30

I’ve started bleeding this afternoon so I’m assuming this is the start of a chemical 😢

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 16:03

@Tillybabs OMG I love that!!

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 16:02

Oh - haha! I'm so out of touch! Grin Well, Cecil was a beaut!

@Kay00 ha sorry, cat tax is an internet thing where you get asked to pay cat tax with a pic of your cat if you mention it. His name was Cecil

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 15:18

hehe, Tax is cute!! Looks like he knows how to lure a lady in for some cuddles Grin

Juno231 · 08/03/2021 14:52

@Tillybabs that's one fancy cat! I feel like it needs a bow tie!

@LauraT94 noo I'm so sorry to hear about Freddie :( Your tortie is gorgeous though! There's one down the road that goes bananas for cuddles when she sees me - literally falling off the fence trying to rub against me! So sweet.

@Kay00 love the light in your pics, looks so dreamy

I'll see if I can dig out a pic of my puss!

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 14:29

@Tillybabs Wow! Stunning cat!!

ChinChilly · 08/03/2021 13:53

Pressed send too soon

@LauraT94 yup that’s exactly what my OH is like, he’s desperate to tell him mom I’m just like lets make to the weekend first. Oh your kitties are beautiful. Missing pets is my worst nightmare! My aunts cat disappeared for 2 years and just turned up at the back door one day, so definitely don’t lose hope.

@Kay00 @Tillybabs love the pet pictures, all so cute!

Tillybabs · 08/03/2021 13:47

@LauraT94 oh gosh how awful! I would also be devastated. Don’t give up all hope though as you never know, he could come back one day.

They are gorgeous 😍

@Kay00 your dogs are gorgeous too and I love the photos. Great sunsets!

This is my cat lol

@KH512 my thyroid isn’t being treated, my GP didn’t think it warranted treatment. I’ve had some more brown watery discharge today so I’m going to give it a couple more days, I don’t they will be able to get me in for bloods before my appointment anyway she said they were really busy and short staffed.

The brown discharge looks exactly like when my period is starting, really hoping it’s nothing 😬

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 13:28

Gorgeous kitties!!! Thanks for sharing @laurat94

I know doggo's get shared a lot on here, but here are my two long legged beauties from last night 😍

@ChinChilly OH super excited but you being cautious describes me and my OH perfectly! I'm having trouble accepting it as truth and he's just cracking on and asking how many weeks I'll be at the wedding haha! (The answer to that is 26! 😜)

@Tillybabs thanks! I can't stand Piers either 🤢

@Juno231 thanks! Cat tax below for you 😜 that's my Georgie the naughty tortie! I'm sorry you're feeling so down about it all, I did wonder! Any actual signs that AF is coming or you're just feeling like that? How are your temps?

Cat stories have made me sad especially as my Freddie cat (Georgie's sister - they were the only two of their litter and have been inseparable all their lives) disappeared in November 😢 I feel like a terrible person to admit that the loss of Freddie made me grieve more than the miscarriage did! But OH succinctly put it that 'i knew Freddie longer' 😂 Freddie is on the left in the third pic!

KH512 · 08/03/2021 13:11

@ChinChilly I called my GP asap after BFP and they upped my dose straight away, but since my first appointment with the consultant they are taking over from my GP and are treating my thyroid.
Everyone will tell you not to test, check RHR and temp but its easier said than done, I was totally doing the same. I didn't get a really strong line until a week after I missed my period. Although I knew checking wasn't going to change anything and wasn't helping with my anxiety (kept having nightmares that I lost the baby) it just took me a bit of time to get myself out of the habit - I think it was largely as I did so much testing and thinking whilst TTC that it was harder to let go

Kay00 · 08/03/2021 11:41

Ladies, I feel your pet loss pain, I had two beautiful cats who were the apples of my eye... one a 13 year old Bengal (who was far too intelligent to be considered a normal cat) and a 4 year old black moggy (who was pretty stupid, but so so cute). My Bengal got cancer and got very poorly before passing away in an operation, and my 4 year old died black moggy of a broken heart about 2 weeks later Sad. That was three years ago, and I often tear up when I think of them

@TheDaydreamBelievers In answer to your question, i'm CD46 and im spotting, so I think AF is on her way! Hopefully this is Ov for you!

Tillybabs · 08/03/2021 11:16

@Juno231@ChinChilly I feel so sad reading your pet stories! I have a cat and I dread that day. They are our babies.

mrsmacmc · 08/03/2021 10:50

@ChinChilly & @LauraT94
I keep 'finding things to do' instead of uni work

@Juno231 he was doing research - here is the link spermmeetseggplan.com was quite impressed he's been looking at things when on the other hand I need to physically hand him his vitamin 😒

ChinChilly · 08/03/2021 10:29

@Juno231 oh god, that’s terrible! That must of been really difficult. We had a cat that literally just died infrong of out of nowhere, he was only about about 4! It wasn’t sudden with the dog, he was quite old he was 15, which is quite old for a labrador and he had been in and out of the vets and was going downhill for a couple of days before my mom decided he was suffering too much and didn’t have much quality of life so had we had to have him put to sleep. It still makes us all tear up.

Juno231 · 08/03/2021 10:20

@ChinChilly aw - was it sudden? I think that's what made me struggle with the cat. He was only 9 as well, I had expected another 9 years to go tbh! I'd been out shopping and when I came home he immediately came to greet me at the door. Didn't even have time to take my shoes off before he'd died of an embolism! I felt terrible that I hadn't spent that last day with him
