Just moany Margaret again 🙋🏼‍♀️
I don't know if anyone remembers me saying I've been bleeding after sex since last year (even while I was on the pill, more so though since coming off it) and I had an examination, when the dr was examining she said I had an inflamed cervix, but I've just got my results back and everything's fine and dandy but she hasn't told me what it could be? Sex isn't an issue he isn't too rough or not doing enough before it and it's not uncomfortable but I just don't know what it could be.. has anyone else ever been told they have an inflamed cervix? 😅

Melissaq94 · 24/03/2021 15:42

@Elsie2021 so sorry to hear about what's happened, I hope you're getting lots of support off your nearest and dearest 💕

MancMama39 · 24/03/2021 14:58

@Elsie2021 I am so sorry to hear about your MC xxx

Tillybabs · 24/03/2021 14:53

@ChinChilly it’s definitely not failure. There could be so many reasons why it hasn’t happened yet but it doesn’t mean it won’t.

I’ve got my first appointment with the fertility clinic in May so looking forward to some answers at least.

ChinChilly · 24/03/2021 14:38

@Moocher90 keeping everything crossed for a BFP for you!

@Kay00 it certainly looks like something happened

@Tillybabs @Nellieee it is a real emotional rollercoaster, the whole referral to a fertility clinic has left me with the overwhelming feeling of failure 😞

@Tillybabs sorry to hear about the thrush, ouch! Hope you get that sorted

@Nellieee I used to get the odd twinges and like you thought there was something sinister was going on but I haven’t noticed it the last few months

Nellieee · 24/03/2021 13:57

@ChinChilly it's such a rollercoaster of emotions and you have been through a lot. I hope your doctor is more understanding in the future, and the tests can provide some answers for you. I am not quite in the same position as you, but have found this process really disheartening lately.

@Kay00 one more day of a high temp and maybe...? Keep us posted.

CD10 of cycle 6 for me, and second day of flashing smileys. I usually ovulate on CD12 so heading in the right direction.

Does anyone else get twinges in their pelvis generally? I've noticed it more lately, not only around time of O, but randomly in my cycle. I'm hoping it's nothing sinister, but can't help my mind questioning everything!!

Tillybabs · 24/03/2021 13:46

@ChinChilly sorry to hear you are feeling down at the moment but glad to see your GP is going to get the ball rolling for you to get seen by the fertility clinic.

I haven’t been active much in here as been a bit down myself. I keep getting reoccurring thrush winch coming off the pill and it’s on and off but last month it hindered things and today it’s just awful again I’m so fed up with it.

I’m seeing my GP next week who is going to have a look and take some swabs.

I feel like it’s possibly a skin irritation

Kay00 · 24/03/2021 13:33

Ladies... I think I ask this question once per cycle and I think I know the answer: no, I haven't ovulated, my temps are too low 😆

But wdyt? Ovulation??

Post Pill Party - The Line Dance
Moocher90 · 24/03/2021 13:33

@ChinChilly it is quite possible it’s a reason for me ovulating or it could just be coincidence.... I guess I will never know

And @Kay00 yes all dairy including cheese which I used to love! I eat the cheese alternatives but they are defo not the same :( but if it helps with ovulating then I’m all in.

Kay00 · 24/03/2021 13:29

@elsie2021 so sorry to hear about your MC 😔 it must be very difficult for you both, please take lots of self care xx

@chinchilly sorry to hear your feeling down about the whole process, im totally feeling the same at the moment too. Good to hear you're getting tests done though. I'm currently GF, and it's really not that hard, just a few simple adjustments. I'm not dairy free though, just lactose free, @moocher90 have you cut out all dairy... including cheese? 😬😬😬

ChinChilly · 24/03/2021 13:05

@Moocher90 I could definitely do the GF the DF may be a struggle! Do you think that’s helped you ovulate?

Moocher90 · 24/03/2021 12:47

@ChinChilly it’s defo worth giving a go it may help with the itchy hands!

ChinChilly · 24/03/2021 12:23

@Moocher90 Funny you mention the itching, I get incredibly itchy hands, I use an antihistamine to control it atm. It does sound incredibly restrictive but I think I’m going to have to try it properly again.

Moocher90 · 24/03/2021 12:17

@ChinChilly
I really think gf and df has helped. I’ve felt much better in my self and I used to get really itchy lower legs which would bleed after scratching them so much and I no longer have that since being df and gf I think there was definitely inflammation I wasn’t aware about. It’s probably a slight intolerance I had and never really knew about. It is restrictive but you just get used to that way of life. Not sure how it will work when the world opens up again and when you can go out for dinner etc 😂

ChinChilly · 24/03/2021 12:10

@Moocher90 I really hope so, I’m really feeling like I’m done with it all at this point.
Great that you’ve ovulated, must be exciting that you’re in your first TTW for a while!
Has the GF and DF been positive for you then? I may have to give that whirl again

Moocher90 · 24/03/2021 12:04

@ChinChilly nice to see you are back! Sorry you are feeling down I know it’s so frustrating but atleast you have now got the ball rolling and who knows you may fall pregnant and stay pregnant before then xx It’s been over 6 months for me and it’s the first time I have actually ovulated. Im due my thyroid bloods on CD3 so beginning of April and will start taking levothyroxine but I think it’s also because I have hashimotos and means if I get pregnant and my levels are not good I run the risk of miscarriage. I’ve also got to go in for day 3 and 21 bloods to check my hormones but they want it to be done in the same cycle and because of my crazy cycles I will probably see how long this cycle lasts and hope tone next cycle is the same length so I can get them done.
Gf and df I think has really made a difference for me

ChinChilly · 24/03/2021 11:47

@Elsie2021 so sorry to hear about your MC, utterly heartbreaking.

I’ve been abit quiet on here, I’ve been trying to take my mind off the whole TTC stuff. My doctor called this morning, she was adamant the TSH wasn’t anything to worry about, she said they don’t routinely screen women for TSH who may be trying to get pregnant or in early pregnancy’s. Basically as long as levels are in the normal range they aren’t a concern.

She did ask me to go in for 21 days bloods, she said they’ve already done the day 3 tests apparently. She’s also going to send me for a scan of my womb and all those bits to check all is ok, OH has to do a SA, which he isn’t impressed about, and then a fertility referral. She said she’s going to get the ball rolling as I’ve had 2 early losses and its coming upto a year since i stopped the pill.

It all seems like abit of a grim milestone to be honest which I’m feeling abit down about so I’m off to lick my wounds!

Nellieee · 24/03/2021 11:36

@Elsie2021 I'm so so sorry. Can't imagine how hard that must be for you. I hope you are taking care of yourself 💐

Tillybabs · 24/03/2021 11:03

@Elsie2021 I’m so sorry to hear that xx

Flowers222 · 24/03/2021 09:12

@Elsie2021 I am really sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what you are going through x

@FlyingGiraffe thanks that's really good to know! Only my 2nd cycle using them and last time they matched! Like you, good to know I still have time to bd!

@Moocher90 I'm so happy for you! Great you are finally in your TWW!

FlyingGiraffe · 24/03/2021 07:54

@Moocher90 This is great news Grin I'm so happy for you! Officially in the TWW :)

@Flowers222 I think the CB tests go static when they first see the LH surge/estrogen increase but I've found that my peak hasn't been til either that evening or the next day on the IC's too. I think they're just super sensitive to it and that's why it stays static for 48 hours. I'm sure you're probably covering yourself but keep going! 9 days of flashing smileys would have driven anyone mad by the way!

CD15 here and I tested with an IC this morning with fmu after getting the static smiley yesterday and the line was super dark, but still not darker than the control so I'm kind of glad I haven't missed it completely! Will be BD after work tonight and tomorrow to give it a good 3 days in a row chance!

FlyingGiraffe · 24/03/2021 07:27

@Elsie2021 I'm so sorry lovely Sad Look after yourself as best you can. xxx

Moocher90 · 24/03/2021 05:35
