@Juno231 They're pretty varied! I think a 6am alarm every morning would definitely annoy my OH each day! Haha. I'll have to try figure out a pattern. It's due to be delivered tomorrow or Monday, so was going to start tracking Monday. Although having just been to the toilet, after wiping and noticing a little pink tinge, I think AF is finally gonna show tomorrow or Monday. Fingers crossed!

@flyinggiraffe well... my temp did go back up, but it wasn't the steep incline I was hoping for. So I'm still suspicious that I haven't actually ovulated yet 🤔🙃😆

Cams50 · 27/03/2021 15:18

@FlyingGiraffe thank you! Ok I’m going to keep taking it all and see how I go 😬🤞🏻 Haha I did the exact same with the agnus castes!! I took it for about two months but then stopped because I freaked myself out as loads of threads say it messes up your cycle but then loads say how it helped! Great you got your static smiley though. Sorry about your bad nights sleep. Hope you sleep better tonight and see a big temp rise tomorrow ☺️

Lovebug06 · 27/03/2021 14:49

@MintGreenLife it's good to know all this, thanks! I'm glad yours is looking better now.

MintGreenLife · 27/03/2021 14:16

@Lovebug06 they don’t usually check your cervix length unless you have more than 10mm removed, and I only had 7mm which is why in Bristol they discharged me from consultant care without checking. In Herefordshire I felt really uneasy about not being checked so pushed for the scans and they were happy for me to have them. From what I understand what I had removed was fairly minimal, but the scan at 18 weeks showed I only had 3mm length above the length they worry about, but by 19 weeks it was longer again ☺️ Hopefully it won’t cause you any trouble, but definitely good to be aware of the possible complications, as the sooner you can have a stitch if you need one the better xx

@FlyingGiraffe thank you 😊 💕

FlyingGiraffe · 27/03/2021 14:02

@Kay00 @Flowers222 thanks! I think I've ovulated but I did have a terrible sleep. Woke at 3.30am again but this time struggled to get back off. My temp was about 0.1 higher than yesterday so hopefully that wasnt a dodgy one and they stay nice and high. I dont want any early spotting this cycle! @Juno231 and @flowers222 it's so nice having tww buddies! @ChinChilly you wont be far behind now too! What happened with your temp this morning @kay00? Hope it went back up for you! 🤞

@Cams50 I take the busy bee vitamins too. Obviously you know I'm not the best person to ask but I only started them last cycle so I'm hoping they just needed a bit longer to start working for me! I also take the seven seas ttc vits, vitamin D and sometimes (when I remember!) extra Vitamin C. Oh and I did try agnus castus again this cycle before ov. I was taking 2 capsules then panicked about messing up my cycle and dropped back down to one! Then I got the static smiley! 😂 I'm also conflicted over whether I should be taking it after ovulation but I've stopped it for now as quite a few things online say not to.

@MintGreenLife I remember lurking all that time ago when you got your bfp! Congrats 💕 so nice to hear some success stories!

Lovebug06 · 27/03/2021 13:05

@MintGreenLife okay that's so good know. That's not good if they tried to not do it in one area then in another you have needed it! Lucky you are in a different area now and good you are receiving checks. If I am fobbed off I will know to maybe push it now. Im not sure about you but my cells were quite bad and I had quite an area taken out with the LLETZ. Also good to know they would ask me. Thankyou X

Moocher90 · 27/03/2021 12:21

It’s due on day 3 of my period x

ChinChilly · 27/03/2021 12:11

@Moocher90 when is your next thyroid test? If they have gone down I may have to follow you in the GF/DF diet! Put my love of all things dairy to one side for the greater good 😂

Moocher90 · 27/03/2021 12:05

@ChinChilly yes it will be interesting to see if they have gone down on their own!

ChinChilly · 27/03/2021 11:22

@MintGreenLife glad everything is going well!

@Moocher90 it will be interesting to see whether the df & gf had effected your TSH levels!

I had my first ever OPK where the test line is darker than the control line last night, they’re normally the same colour as the control line.

MintGreenLife · 27/03/2021 11:00

@Moocher90 so many typos in my message 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hopefully it makes sense x

MintGreenLife · 27/03/2021 11:00

@Moocher90 definitely worth it! The only thing I noticed when I reintroduced gluten and dairy is my skin flared up and is still bad now. I had it quite bad I’m the first trimester, cleared up around 10-12 weeks, and then got back again around 18 weeks, but worth a few spots to be able to eat whatever, as felt a bit cheated being pregnant and having to be so restrictive!

@Juno231 it’s going fast and slow at the same time really! I feel better knowing I have the progesterone pessaries now. The scan on Tuesday should be quite telling, as they won’t put a stitch in any later than 24 weeks. I’d prefer not to have one as there is some risk involved, but like you say most important thing is keeping baby safe ☺️

@Cams50 I was surprised by how early I felt movement as I have an anterior placenta, but I’ve been able to feel his little kicks since 16 weeks. This morn I saw them from the outside for the first time 💕

@Lovebug06 it’ll come up in your first midwife appointment - the booking appointment at around 8-10 weeks. They don’t start doing the cervical length scans until 16 weeks though, and then every two weeks until 24 weeks. Interestingly in Bristol the consultant signed me off and said I didn’t need the scans, but when I moved to Herefordshire I had to redo the whole booking in process and the midwife referred me to the consultant who did want to scan me. Am so thankful that happened as I was close to the limit when they would intervene, and my consultant wanted me to start progesterone as a precautionary measure.

@Flowers222 thank you 😊

@Kay00 he seems to be rather active! Which is super lovely as so reassuring 💕

Cams50 · 27/03/2021 10:47

@Kay00 ok amazing thank you! That’s all I needed. Any excuse to keeping taking alllll the vitamins 😂

Kay00 · 27/03/2021 10:13

@Cams50 yes, I take the Busy Bee too! I still take a prenatal vitamin, but as long as you're getting your folic acid anc vit D then you are probably fine to drop the Pregnacare

@mintgreenlife so lovely to hear from you, and to hear your pregnancy is going well 😊 and wow, he's kicking already 😍 thats amazing ❤

Flowers222 · 27/03/2021 09:35

@Moocher90 I hadn't realised you had been waiting so long for ovulation! So so happy you are finally in your TWW!

@FlyingGiraffe @Juno231 great you have both ovulated! I woke up this morning with a temp rise so looks like I am 1 day behind.

@TheDaydreamBelievers oh no! I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is the worst!

@MintGreenLife I am so glad your pregnancy is going well!

Lovebug06 · 27/03/2021 09:18

@mrsmacmc my boy has those little brown eyebrows and mouth too. He gets lots of lovely comments on them calling him handsome, I say he will get a big head soon Grin
@MintGreenLife I've had LLETZ a few years ago, when it happens for me do I need to remind them straight away? Or do they start to look when you start to get a bit bigger. Not sure if that's a stupid question 😂

Cams50 · 27/03/2021 07:52

@MintGreenLife wow your baby is kicking!! That must be amazing. Glad it’s going well and they’re monitoring you closely.

@Moocher90 great that ovulation is confirmed and the lp is going well. Hope it’s a long one!

@Kay00 can I ask a vitamin question? I just ordered the Busy Bee vitamins I think you recommended as I’d been taking B-50 before that. As these contain higher doses I think I should stop taking pregnacare too. So now I’d be taking the b complex which contains vitamin c, vitamin d, a probiotic, EPO to ovulation and uniquinol. Does anyone know if that seems fine? By stopping pregnacare I’m missing out on vit E, zinc and iron though? But I don’t want to over do it!

Juno231 · 27/03/2021 07:14

@JT90 how varied are your shifts? If you can't take your temp roughly at the same time each day (even if with an earlier alarm and then going back to sleep) then bbt might not be right for you. You could still give it a go if you don't mind the £10 as potentially you could still detect an overall pattern. I keep my thermometer under my pillow :)

@MintGreenLife crazy that you're at 22 weeks already! Feels like you were here with us not that long ago. I'm glad everything seems to be going well and hope you won't need a cervical stitch - although if you do it's not the end of the world either if it keeps baba safe ❤️

Moocher90 · 27/03/2021 06:11

@MintGreenLife that’s good news and no intervention so far is needed! I think gf and df has made a difference as I wasn’t ovulating abit like your story prior to your BFP. It’s also stopped me from itching my lower legs so I do think I had a slight intolerance anyway but didn’t know. My temps in LP are looking very good as like yours were my FP temps are generally under 36.1 and temp at 6DPO is 36.54 so I know I’ve def ovulated. I’m going to continue to be df and gf and hope I get a BFP doing it! It is restrictive because you can’t just eat whatever u want but it will be worth it

MintGreenLife · 26/03/2021 23:32

@Moocher90 thanks for asking ☺️ I’m 22 weeks now. I’ve been having some extra scans to check my cervix length due to previous LLETZ, and one week it was looking like it had shortened and was close to the length when they would intervene, so was given progesterone pessaries to start, but a follow up scan this week showed it back in the green zone. Got another scan next week so hopefully it’s still looking the same. Was a bit nerve wracking but feeling better about it all now. He’s busy kicking away lots and all was well at my 20 week scan.

Hope you’re finding being gf/df ok so far? Xx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 26/03/2021 23:26

@JT90 I keep it on top of my phone so when my alarm buzzes it's the first thing I touch. I then hold it in my closed mouth for 4min (cause I sleep open mouthes)

Kay00 · 26/03/2021 22:51

@jt90 I set an alarm to take my temp at 6:00, I take it quickly in the dark with minimal movements then fall asleep immediately afterwards. Most thermometers will keep a record of the last temperature it took so you can record it later that day.

JT90 · 26/03/2021 22:44

@Juno231 Ah okay; thank you for your help! Wow. Certainly sounds like there's more to it than just taking temp! Where is best to keep it then, on my bedside table I guess so it's handy? I'm abit concerned about timing it as I wake up different times each day. Even more so when I return to work in a couple weeks as my shift times always change! Confused
