Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@xoJellyBean it was thought for sure, I spent weeks thinking was it something I'd eaten or done, or even if my body was able to carry a child! No lovely this is our second cycle of TTC! I was only 19 at the time and although I didn't feel ready I would've kept the baby. I am now 23, so I've had 4 years to get into a stable secure well paid job and a house so that I felt financially stable! It's just typical I fell pregnant as an accident and now I'm trying it didn't happen first time 😂 it's always the way! Xx

@Genevive123 aww bless ❤️ I'm sure that was so emotional for you! Have you been ttc since? Xx

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 20:34

@xoJellyBean I was late for my period which was weird! And It was a bit of a mistake we got drunk and had sex, I went and got the morning after pill and it failed as I must have already ovulated! Of course I was going to keep it, the fact that the morning after pill had failed had made it an easy decision to keep the baby as I felt it was meant to be! But obviously it wasn't as I lost it at 10 weeks xx

@Genevive123 omg!! How did you find out that you were pregnant? X

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 20:13

@Kty09 it definitely depends on each woman! I got to 10 weeks pregnant before I lost the baby and I had no symptoms no morning sickness, no sore breasts or anything ! Just a UTI a few days before I found out! X

xoJellyBean · 21/03/2021 20:11

@Kty09 Most of my friends that have been pregnant said it started around 5-6 weeks 😲 but I guess some women will know right away... aka us who track everythinggg 👀🤣

Kty09 · 21/03/2021 19:50

@Genevive123 I have seen a lot of people say the first thing that they noticed was the lack of AF symptoms rather than anything else! thats good though I guess you are more likely to pick up anything out of the ordinary!
Do you know around how many weeks you actually start to feel proper pregnancy symptoms or I guess it differs for everyone doesn’t it?

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 18:36

@Kty09 I could be completely wrong haha! But when I got pregnant accidentally a few years (before I miscarried) back I didn't have my usual AF symptoms I ended up with a UTI which makes me think maybe that will happen again? Because I've never been on contraception and I started my period quite young I've really got used to my cycle x

@Genevive123 wow you’re so in tune with your body to notice those things haha I’m just usually painfully bloated a few days before! Im assuming I may come on at some point before next weekend and im excited for the next cycle too 💕

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 17:28

@Neom87 I would say it's not worth testing unless it's a first response early response hun! Normal tests just aren't sensitive enough x

OP posts:
xoJellyBean · 21/03/2021 17:16

@Neom87 it is totallyyyy up to you!!! See how you feel 🥰 and re the chemical... I think if your test doesn't get darker then it's not a viable pregnancy? As long as the lien keeps getting darker :)

I'm having a mini freak out now because my temp spiked this morning and both my apps have shifted my ovulation day to 17 March making me 4dpo now 👀

Neom87 · 21/03/2021 16:50

@genevive123 and @xojellybean you girls are getting in my head now 🤔 is there any point in testing tomorrow with a standard test rather than an early, if it was positive is it going to be really faint because its not a frer, or would it not even show up at this stage 11dpo tomorrow and it's the frers that would pick up the faint line?

Does anyone know at what point a chemical can be ruled out?

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 14:25

@xoJellyBean yes yes you're so right but I know my cycles pretty well and my symptoms of AF and so far I have them all 😂 including 2 lb weight gain which always happens in the week before AF! You know it's so exciting to say that AF is due a week tomorrow because it's either going to be W positive test or a start of a new cycle 🙈 x

xoJellyBean · 21/03/2021 14:18

@Genevive123 still not out until af shows 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I'm fine, having a lazy Sunday with the dogs 🤣 trying to not stress out 🥰 x

@Neom87 I defo agree that frer are the best... pink dye is apparently more accurate than blue dye!

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 12:48

@xoJellyBean I'm ok thanks lovely, got my usual symptoms that I get a week before AF arrives! So really think I'm out but very excited for the next cycle as ovulating on my birthday and hoping that it will be my month 😍 how are you??

@Neom87 yes do it! First response early response are the best ones xx

OP posts:
Neom87 · 21/03/2021 12:37

@xoJellybean not you as well!! I have some of those cheapy strip ones I got with some opks, I also chucked a couple of cheapo boots ones in my basket when I was ordering from them the other week. Are the first response the best early ones?

xoJellyBean · 21/03/2021 10:33

@Kty09 my OH did think I was crackers when I started doing it 🤣🤣 takes a while to remember to do it though 🙈

@Neom87 get one ordered 🤣 have you any cheapies to test with too??

@Genevive123 how are you feeling today?

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 09:33

@Neom87 haha sorry hun just can't help it, I'm dying to know if any of us have managed to conceive this month 😂 good offers on prime too ! You might as well order them because by the time they come tomorrow you'd have to wait until Tuesday for FMU 😉

Neom87 · 21/03/2021 09:18

Ignore the "referral"! 🙈

Neom87 · 21/03/2021 09:17

@genevive123 oh your referral a bad influence!! 🤣 I don't have a FRER... but I do have amazon prime! 🤭

@kty09, I was on the pill for 18 years prior to January! Crazy really! I'm totally the same as you, most nights this week I have had really vivid dreams, its wierd. I felt like I hadn't dreamt for so long as I hadn't remembered anything and all of a sudden I'm having loads!

Kty09 · 21/03/2021 08:50

@Neom87 I’m exactly the same! I have had the implant for 6 years and had it taken out in jan - I’m pretty sure my body will still be adjusting from that! I think if I wasn’t to come on before next weekend I would do a test as I will be 14DPO.
I have had such vivid dreams since getting the implant out I wonder if it’s something to do with the hormones?!
I have felt a few twinges and thought oooh could this be something 😂 so I’m not totally chilled haha!

Think my OH would think I’m crackers if I started taking my temp every morning hes sooo chilled about it so he doesn’t get all the tracking haha if only he knew!

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 08:42

@Neom87 definitely keeping me on my toes 😂 oooh can't you get a FRER and do one cheeky test? 😂😂

@HopingForBabyM2021 Hello, I am using premom, it works well for me. I love their new version of the calendar😂 It tells me when to test, which is very helpful!

Neom87 · 21/03/2021 07:53

@xoJellyBean....or its completely in my head!! 🤣🤡 Nice to see I'm not the only one sym spotting!! I'm trying to hold out for a bit yet. My app says period due 26th but I'm not too sure how accurate that is at the moment. Not going to lie, when I woke up yesterday and needed a wee I did have the thought that I could poas, as I see others 9/10 DPO doing it! 😄 I quickly went to the loo so that I couldn't!! 🤣
