My OH was also convinced we will get pregnant straight away (his ex gf did in his teens), he Thought every woman will that sleeps with him with no protection 😂 he even initially wanted to wait to ttc for that reason. Now I can't get pregnant straight away it's almost satisfactory in a way to tell him: 'SEE...?'

Just remind yourself that it takes on average a year to get pregnant :) and stay positive, I know it's disheartening at times

Right, I think that’s me out for this cycle. I hoped the spotting I was having was implantation but its too heavy so has to be AF. That’s 5 days earlier than all my apps have said and earlier than any other month after ovulation.
Ive ordered some Soy Iso to hopefully bring ovulation forward (it was CD35 this time) and also vitamin C to take after ovulation as I’ve read it can help thicken the uterus during the luteal Phase - still taking Seven Seas TTC and have a pretty good diet so not too worried. It was only cycle 1 for me but I still feel incredibly sad. I know my OH is pretty upset. He had got it in his head that we were going to be lucky.

@taytay2020 oh I'll have to give that a watch. I definitely find there is added pressure with bd when you know it could potentially result in pregnancy, even I find it a bit hard to relax at times 😂 I'm hoping that getting back to a bit of normality this month may help. I'm going back to work this week so feel like it might take my mind off everything a bit and help me relax a bit more.

I'm on CD6, gonna start opks on CD8. As promised, I have been prepping DH with many assurances that BDing does not lead to scary parenthood, it's all JUST A COINCIDENCE. 😉 I think he really felt the pressure last month. We also started watching Netflix's 'Babies' documentary together, so it's all feeling a bit more real. Baby dust all round! ✨

AF arrived yesterday for me. Happy to be on a new cycle and will hopefully get back on track trying this cycle after a complete fail last cycle. How are we all getting on?

I think crying was a bit melodramatic but there you go :)

I think the logical solution is guest bedroom/office and the nursery in the small room - currently office. Then we can have all 3 in use if needs be. Although day to day I would prefer guest bedroom/ nursery probably.

Haha @lemonswan I know the feeling! I've found that the prospect of fitting a child into our house really makes me good at decluttering. 😀 I feel like I've given away half my possessions on gumtree in the last six months. I'm also going through the same thoughts re: office/nursery, and guest room/office!

Lol I think now because I just had a hormonal cry about where we would put the nursery if not in the office, and where the office is going to do if not the guest bedroom or vice versa! I am already in full on nesting mode

@Veronika13 I think the chances of conceiving each cycle are around 30% so even if you are doing everything right it doesn’t always happen, it doesn’t mean something is wrong. Remember it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive. If you haven’t watched that video I posted before maybe give it a watch it’s quite a good insight! Hope you’re okay 😊

I had a bfn and due Tues which is good as I can go ahead with my plans of surgery. Get these implants out and then ttc. Good luck to all you ladies

@Kty09 I am feeling okay but that might be because I'm so excited! Still hasn't quite sunk in! I have felt a bit sick and my boobs are sore but apart from that I'm good. That might all change as I'm only 10 dpo today. I did take a CB digital today and it confirmed I am 1-2 weeks. How are you all getting on?
