Hey everyone! Cycle 3 starts today, I was disappointed but I'm fine now. I seem to have 9 day luteal phases which isn't ideal but I'm all in this cycle and am going to do the following:

-SMEP
-Proceive supplements
-Ferti-lily
-Agnus castus (to try lengthen LP)
-Pre-seed

Anyone starting their cycle again want to join me?

@Fifi1086 everyone around me at the moment seems to be pregnant or just had a baby. It's soo hard and gets me down 😞.
Positive vibes for March though 🤞🏻 if March isn't successful I'm giving the following month a miss. Not keen on a late dec/early January baby.

Just found out SIL is pregnant. Trying so hard to be happy but it just isn't easy

Hello, AF has arrived for my today so im CD1, cycle 8. TTC first baby. Any tips welcome.
This month i think we will try the SMEP plan & carry on taking vitamins recommended from DR larisas conception plan.

Fifi1086 · 27/02/2021 09:48

@Timetobeamummy oh yes I've a few Gins planned for this evening, consolation prize for getting AF!

@Fifi1086 I think I also ovulate late as well, which is why I’m going with OPKs this cycle.

@AKcheer I’m usually 31 days bang on the day- but last months long cycle 37 days was odd however just hoping it was a one off.

The only benefit of AF is that I can enjoy a very large glass of wine or Gin tonight without feeling guilty!

Fifi1086 · 26/02/2021 23:48

@AKcheer glad it's not just me! My cycles are 29 days but I ovulate late around 20 or 21 which isn't good cos then I've a short luteal phase. I'm taking soya isoflavones this month to try bring O forward. Staying positive this month too, hopefully this is our month!

AKcheer · 26/02/2021 22:35

@Fifi1086 me too! I was just reflecting on my week and it’s been stressful personally but also at work, but I feel like I achieved a lot at work too which is good haha! We absolutely do!! How long are your periods usually and do you know roughly when you ovulate?? Positive vibes for next month!!!!!! Feeling positive xx

Fifi1086 · 26/02/2021 22:27

@AKcheer I'm so happy it's the weekend. A crazy week at work. I have to say it's actually a relief to not think about ttc this weekend, no opks, no symptom spotting.. it's making me think that after O this month I'm just going to try switch off. I really didn't enjoy the last ten days or so it was stressful. We put serious pressure on ourselves!

AKcheer · 26/02/2021 22:16

All good thanks @Fifi1086 how are you? Anyone got any exciting plans for the weekend? Any exciting dinner dishes or deserts anyone’s cooking!?

Fifi1086 · 26/02/2021 20:26

Thanks for that @AlexaPlayWhiteNoise I had a read through there some really interesting stuff!! I'm ready to go and going to take them before bed!

How is everyone else doing today 😊

I've been toying with the idea of soy isoflavones for next cycle fifi. There's a couple of threads which explain about them that I'll link. Here's a recent one and an older one but with good information. I don't always ovulate so was planning on giving them a go but then got a bfp which turned into a chemical and was so preoccupied I didn't gave the wherewithal to order them in time. Where did you get yours from?

Fifi1086 · 26/02/2021 11:16

Morning everyone!! Well no mistaking that AF is definitely here! I picked up some soya isoflavones today to help bring O forward, I just can't figure out the dosage 😂😂

AlexaPlayWhiteNoise · 26/02/2021 10:50

Can I join in? I'm cd15 but still got another week till I'm due to ovulate. Coming in off the back of a chemical last cycle and late loss in November of our DS2 at 21+4.

We're doing SMEP with preseed. I also take 5mg of folic acid, CoQ10 and a complex b vitamin for ovulation. Vitamin C & E. And then a multivitamin on top.

I use OPKs and temp too, I'm going for a belt and braces approach. Grin

Dinomama21 · 25/02/2021 22:10

@Timetobeamummy thank you so much ❤ So hard not to be stressed! I plan for lots of distractions this cycle, might even buy myself a book too, doesn't help with lockdown either. Plenty of free time to over-think and Google every little thing!

Timetobeamummy · 25/02/2021 22:03

@Dinomama21 sorry to hear sending you a virtual hug and strength to fight for this cycle.

I’m on the OPKs and BBT tracking this month so let’s hope that helps. I mean one of the keys apparently is to stay stress free but the whole TTC is extremely stressful and I’m only just getting started!

Dinomama21 · 25/02/2021 21:57

@Fifi1086 Thank you, I'm a firm believer in everything happens for a reason, so Im taking massive comfort in that ❤ I'm going to try not to either, I have a busy month ahead so I'm hoping that helps🤞
I have OPKs and tracking my BBT, found them super helpful as I ovulated sooner than I normally do last cycle, and it did sort of work I suppose 🙈 ooooo I ill be googling those now, thank you 😂

Fifi1086 · 25/02/2021 21:01

@Lizbb welcome! @Dinomama21 so sorry to hear that, it's so unfair. I am absolutely, 100% not testing early this month. I haven't got past 9dpo on a cycle yet, so if I manage to get to 12dpo this cycle I'll test. I've researched soya isoflavones and I've booked acupuncture for Sat!!

Dinomama21 · 25/02/2021 20:17

Hi guys hope I can join, I had 6 positive tests since monday, which got lighter, BBT then dropped and today AF showed up- uglier and heavier than norm, why do we test early and do it to ourselves?! 🙃 Had a good cry about it and now I'm feeling positive and ready for the next cycle! Just reading through your posts, and making myself a shopping list- I don't currently take anything at all 😱
Pineapple juice and then eat a load of pineapple after ovulation?
Pomegranate juice
Vitamin C and D
Brazil nuts
I sware someone needs to write a dummies book to TTC 🤣

Lizbb · 25/02/2021 20:12

Hey ladies. If I may also join p/s. I'm cd4 pass. This is my af from a mc in jan. Was gonna ttc before period but thought to let my lining etc heal. Just ordered strips so hoping to start testing once my af finishes as everything may be all over the place for now lol. Will see.

Timetobeamummy · 25/02/2021 20:10

I mean trying to get pregnant is expensive business! At least it will help us prepare for all future outgoings when the babies arrive. The more I search the more I add to my list!

Fifi1086 · 25/02/2021 20:05

A lady I spoke to on another thread spoke about a book called Period Power which went through all the different things you can do to help fertility and understand your cycle. I'm thinking of getting it, esp as she got a BFP this month!

OP posts:
AKcheer · 25/02/2021 19:43

Hahaha don’t forget your Brazil nuts as well guys! I actually also drink pomegranate juice! See I try everything!! @Fifi1086 i think I’d be the same 😂

Fifi1086 · 25/02/2021 18:54

That's going on my list too! Along with everything else 😂

OP posts:
LemonDrizzle44 · 25/02/2021 18:29

@Timetobeamummy & @AKcheer I had heard about pineapple helping implantation. Didn't know about pomegranate. Just had a quick google and these are now added to my shopping list 😂.

Fifi1086 · 25/02/2021 16:25

@AKcheer you know if someone said to me that shaving your head and running round the garden naked brings ovulation forward, I'd do it at this stage!
