Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

We didn't get the buggy until after ds arrived - it was booked but not picked up. Didn't want to get that far ahead based on previous experience. In fact, generally left any shopping as late as possible - and basically bought hardly any clothes - didn't need too many and got enough given to us.

Will have to sort out an add-on picture option. [grins even more, imagining all those posh cars, mostly 4x4 with wavy scratch lines caused by Boudica add-ons to buggy] Mind you, ds could do quite a good line in stick dragging which could also be quite effective. Unfortunately never had stick at the right time....

littleladylollipop · 18/03/2008 11:13

toomuchtimeonline · 18/03/2008 10:23

Not long till your little whale pops out now though

scorpio1 · 18/03/2008 10:14

toomuch - i feel like bloated whale too

toomuchtimeonline · 18/03/2008 10:11

Oh MT your poor DS - is he feeling better now! Off to google your pram choice - which shop does the add ons you speak of

Gilly - yes you have a real challenge! may the best lady win!!

scorpio night out was good - although I feel a bit like a beached whale - I'm so bloated and my waist seems to have disappeared.. sitting next to all my fantastically skinny friends isn't normally great for the self esteem at the best of times (but then again they aren't growing a baby )

Morning everyone else!! Nearly Easter - yay!!!

scorpio1 · 18/03/2008 09:45

Hi - been away due to day off work followed by ds's ear infection - Sun am was 'I want my mummy' - I am your mummy - 'I want a cuddle' - I am cuddling you - 'I want my daddy' - Daddy's just getting you some medicine so that we can help you feel beter - 'Whaaaaaaahhhhhhh'!!!!

!

Babybear - have you thought of cranial osteopathy - may help, won't harm - helped hugely with ds's colic, and would take any dc2 to cranial osteopath even if there was no problem.

Buggy wars - we've got MB urban - still copes with ds, nearly 3, although I don't think that we've used it for 2 months now.(Ds walks and/or cycles on balance bike)

Add ons - I have imagined the MB with a Boudicca charriot add-on knives to the wheels and or handles - mainly for people that park on the pavement so that you end up wheeling the buggy on the road to get round them....

Handles - MB has only one and this is really good as you can wheel with just one hand leaving the other free ( in our case for dog lead, but also good for phone etc). MB does not rear face - got round this by talking to ds a lot when he was little or sometimes singing to him. He started following whet the dog did at an early age which was great to see - and showed that he could follow to quite a significant distance.

toomuchtimeonline · 17/03/2008 18:11

oh well - off out tonight to pretend to drink whilst supping a lemondade spritzer... it is very weird that noone except my mn mates know!

Speak to you tomorrow girls

toomuchtimeonline · 17/03/2008 18:10

londonlottie - yes I'm illegally here as I am too wuss to join an antenatal thread... I don't want to get your hopes up - I was just letting you know that I didn't even test for 3 days when I was late as I had full on PMT and cramps. The cramps continued for the first few weeks and I even bled a bit - all very periody (however, apparently it is your womb stretching!) - so never say never!

Ready Madeira is meant to be lovely - it's on my list of places to visit! A friend went last year and had the most amazing time! I have to admit that I am open minded on the Bug and therefore will definitely take a look at it whenever I go buggy shopping!

LLL - what was your old name again? It's really annoying me trying to remember.. How are you by the way? Your vote is obviously for McClaren then?

Ready · 17/03/2008 17:07

Littleladylolipop welcome back

hobnobs, I can?t believe it ? I don?t like a bugaboo ? the bee is not for me. The chameleon/gecko still are though? not sure I will ever change?
PMSL at you asking where the ?keeper was at a rugby match

Gilly, the basics of cricket I can cope with, the 4?s and 6?s (but bless you for explaining how a 4 is scored ) and the like ? it?s the googlies and leg spinners and byes that make me glaze over. Have to agree though, tall glass of pimms, and a sofa, and I?ll watch pretty much anything ? ?cept golf or motor racing. Tennis is my second fave after football ? I?ve been to Wimbledon and watched a match on centre court ? it?s fantastic fun

Nomore, how are you feeling chick?? Better I hope

Toomuch, we are pretty set on Madeira, we wanted something peaceful and low-key, and it seems to be just about perfect. Going to stay in a 5* hotel, bit of luxury, that we feel we deserve after all that has happened over the last year couple of years
Oh, and if you want to go off road, get a bug? the wheels are second to none (imo)

Hope everyone is dandy this afternoon?

littleladylollipop · 17/03/2008 15:38

Sorry Hobnobs cross posted.. just took ages to press submit!

Good luck with the bonging - one night off or so won't do any harm .. I know I can't wait for the detailed report on which buggy I need {echoes hobnobs lazy emotion}

I have to say that I am still in denial that I am pregnant and haven't really looked into anything - I may believe it when I get a proper bump and see the baby on the 12 week scan - but for now it just feels like a bit of a cold - I think it is because we haven't told anyone either so it just doesn't feel real..

toomuchtimeonline · 17/03/2008 15:12

BB He is really cute - I hope the refux thing sorts itself out soon for you

hobnobs · 17/03/2008 15:09

Yes - Ready of course, you can still have your Bugaboo! Although I did notice a thread in active conversations this morning on which the merits of Bugaboos were being discussed though think they were talking about the Bee (will see if I can link to it):
Bugaboo Bee - someone talk me out of it

Toomuch I quite like your criteria for a buggy so will wait and see what those more experienced in these matters come up with (lazy emoticon!) You're right - we're at the "business" stage of the month at the moment. Thought we were doing quite well over the weekend and then DH was feeling a bit under the weather last night so it didn't go quite according to plan. He's under instructions to be home at a reasonable time tonight though.

Gilly Have to admit that, unsporty as I am, I find tennis more interesting than cricket, even on a summer's day (maybe it dates back to when I was a child and we were dragged off on Sunday afternoons to watch my father play). I did at least learn how to score in tennis when at school though. DH took me to a rugby match last year. After about 20 minutes I asked where the goal keeper was Needless to say, I've not been invited again.

Hello to everyone else.

toomuchtimeonline · 17/03/2008 14:49

LL Yay to fixed lock - but boo to cramping - although don't give in - I had period style cramping for the first 3 weeks (mother nature is very cruel to make AF and early pregnancy feel so similar )

Scorpio - how dare the nasty midwife keep you waiting {stamps foot!} Didn't realise you were going for a home birth - I'd love a home birth! Have you done it before?

nomore - you a dab hand at the old knitting now aren't you

scorpio1 · 17/03/2008 14:04

Thankyou so much nomore she will look fabulous!

MW was supposed to be here at 10am for homebirth appt - i had solicitors at 11.30, so i rang her at 11am and she said she wouldnt be round till about 4pm!!

I have very bad PMT. Made slightly better by the fact i have just sold our PC (we use laptop now), get paid tomorrow and i had alco-free lager yesterday which was wonderful.

nomoremagnolia · 17/03/2008 13:49

bella you are more than welcome anything I can do to help please say.
scorpio I have bought the pink wool today so Millie's boots will be in production as soon as I've finished baby makecakes's second one

You are all lovely. Will let you google finer points of reflux, but it is basically heartburn for babies and involves pain and throwing up.

Nomore - you are particularly lovely! Have said so in the email but also wanted to say it publicly!
