Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

New thread especially for Ready

We got navy blue and it doesn't seem to have done too badly. Would have preferred a more mid colour - I think sort of sandy brown would have been ideal for us! My father said that we needed to wash the buggy - but my attitude now is that its quite good if it looks a little disreputable as we can leave it outside the loos at the park etc and its still there when we get out. Whatever colour you get it is going to show some things, but at least relatively dark things don't show stains too badly!

Ours doesn't get used that much now, although we do sometimes still take it out on walks. SOmetimes ds is not feeling like going for a walk directly after his nap but we have to go then due to the early arrival of darkness - so we sometimes take the buggy so he can sit in it and eat his 'lunch' from a 'lunchbox' as we start the walk. This means buggy gets covered in crumbs, tomato juice/seeds, cheese, and blackberry jelly (not much of this !)

Of course, if you don't go into the countryside much, you won't need to worry quite as much as we did on the practicallity side - but you still need to make allowances for milk, suncream, rusks, biscuits, duck food, juice etc etc etc! (Let alone mud from boots and shoes as they get older)

Oh, yes, and, if like us, you book the buggy before you know the flavour, you will need to find something that is appropriate for either (although ds does like pink and purple, might give other people the wrong impression)

MT - PMSL at it not being me drooling over the cream bug ...With your sensible comments in mind, would you say the all black bug would be best then? I had thought about that - but me, being me, wanted something pretty over practical ... Aaw bless your DS not being able to have his Thomas top

How is everyone today? I am eeking out the last couple of hours of certain internet access

mistlethrush · 21/11/2007 08:51

Pale cream... probably looks fantastic for the first 1/2 hour.... (Sorry, have a bit of a sensible head on this morning) - it won't be you drooling over the pale cream buggy - it will be dc - and drool is the least offensive thing that will get onto it . I think suncream is probably the worst, although ours does get covered in mud and dog due to dog walking in muddy fields in all weathers due to necessity...

Kensgirl - can you get an early scan - I hope so. Don't worry about changes - these will happen, and you won't feel the same every day anyway. Fingers and toes crossed that everything goes well this time.

Ready - like the jumper - ds wore similar things. He's now into Thomas and was upset that he couldn't wear one of his Thomas tops this morning - both went in wash last night so still damp this morning. He had to wear his halloween scary monsters top instead - which he managed to get milk on, although not sufficient to have to change! (I know what he'll come back from nursery looking like!)

I saw a beautiful cream cameleon the other day - I was practically drooling

I've been a bit lax with my dream shopping, so thought I would give you something.

Was in John Lewis (in you know where nomore) at the weekend, it was bedlam, but I did go and peek at the prams. They didn't have the Bug Chameleon, which annoyed me, but the Gecko was there - and I am still smitten, everything else just pales in comparison (imo)

nomoremagnolia · 20/11/2007 20:41

Love the jumper BTW - absolutely adorable

Hi Ready I'm here

OP posts:
Ready · 20/11/2007 20:16

Kensgirl - Fingers crossed that what I am expderiencing is not period related then!! I will know before the week is out though, so not long to wait! Don't worry about not having pains/symptoms 24/7 - I am sure it is natural to worry, but just enjoy the times without ache and pain

Where is everyone?? I get internet access for longer than normal and everyone buggers off

kensgirl · 20/11/2007 18:30

Happy birthday scorpio! I love the name you have chosen, I hope you are right about your blue feelings!

Mistlethrush, I;m relieved for you that it's looking good as far as no repeat molar is concerned. I hope your luck id due to change.

Ready, don't rule the month out yet, as I always get pre period niggles in the 4 or so days preceeding af, and I still had them this month too, I'm putting it down to implantation pain now .

I think I am 5_+ 4 today, and have been quite sick this morning, but a bit panicky as my boobs are not sore today, and they have been for about 2 weeks, so i'm trying to think that all is fine, and they don't have to be painful 24/7.

Hope you are all OK xx

Ready · 20/11/2007 15:48

CUTE!

Ready · 20/11/2007 15:21

I like the middle name to be a family name, and have some relevance.

Nomore I am clinging to the rumour that pre-period niggles can just as easily be progesterone than actual menstruation based - gullible? Me?

Happy Birthday Scorpio - 23 Enjoy your day!!

MT - That's exactly what I want, to have names ready so that when I meet them I can say the name

mistlethrush · 20/11/2007 14:28

We'd only got blue name definitely sorted for quite some time. Went something like dh's grandfather's name, dh's/my father's/my grandfather's name, dh's 'family' name, surname.... So did keep it quite well in the family.

I liked Charlotte for pink name - would have been Lottie when little probably.

I actually liked Charlotte Elizabeth - but both rather long names, even if number of syllables just right.

Its a good thing dc turned out to be ds - was really nice to say hello '...' when he was first born...

nomoremagnolia · 20/11/2007 13:02

Happy birthday scorpio
Can't have William as a middle name as tradition in DH's family is to give grandparent's name as middle name. I have lots of pink names if you need them
ready hope it's not AF

Scorpio - happy birthday !!! 23!!!!!!!!

Even writing it backwards was a long time ago. Didn't meet dh until I was 28, got married when 29....

Hope you have a good day

scorpio1 · 20/11/2007 10:02

nomore, you could have william as a middle name, assuming your bean will be a blue one anyway. actually, assuming my bean is blue!!

I don't watch the programme Dexter-im hoping the name wont get popular as a result, iyswim?

Our surname begins with a c and also has an x sound in it so sounds quite nice. I bet bean is pink now! i have no pink names.

Ready fingers crossed its not cd1 for you. maybe you can have a xmas pressie bfp??

its my birthday today, im a very old 23

Ready · 19/11/2007 22:21

One of my other MN mates has just called her baby Dexter - loving the name Scorpio!! Anyone else watch the series called Dexter though??

Chuckling at nomore - thinking of william with your surname, I actually like it DH thinks it sounds like a poet's name

Big hugs MT - sounds like you are really going through the mill at the moment. Thinking of you.

Kensgirl - Yay!! Congratulations again - yes, things are still very much up in the air for us, but hopefully not for too much longer. Fingers crossed

Hope everyone else is well?? I am making the most of having internet for a few days ... on a sour note, I am pretty sure this month was not successful, I am getting some tell-tale niggles

nomoremagnolia · 19/11/2007 21:27

Like Dexter William a lot - here's hoping it's a blue bean!! William was on my list but doesn't really sit well with our surname unfortunately.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 19/11/2007 19:19

Boys names cos i just know is a blue one! Dexter william is his name, do u like?

mistlethrush · 19/11/2007 10:48

Kensgirl - congratuations - how far?? Have you had any early scans???

I went for scan to confirm that all OK - but didn't have scan as test was bfn. Good that didn't have to have scan, although I will be testing again in 2 or 3 weeks - as got v. strong bfp on Thursday, even though I know that I'm not pregnant. Don't want levels creeping up after af and then dropping so that below test levels at af...

Might see if I can get referred for recurrent miscarriages - although only 2, it's not great as it takes so long to get there in the first place. The nurse said that at least this way might be able to get early scans to 12 wks which would be reassuring (given history....).

Wishing me a bfn and lots of bfp's for everyone else!

Still not going to do anything now until after Christmas - need a bit of a break.

kensgirl · 19/11/2007 09:43

Thanks Ready! Are you still a bit up in the air with dh job/where to live, I hope its all moving in the right direction for you both. I think, in my experience , that the toughest times bring you the closest, and we have had a fair few of those over the last few years.

I can see you with twins Nomore! One of each will be on my letter to Santa for you, to be delivered ASAP. I can't think of anything nicer than being on a pg thread with you, Ready and Gilly too, so everything crossed.

What name are you thinking then, Scorpio? Are you feeling it is a boy, or just find boys names easier to think of?

Hope everyone is OK today xx

nomoremagnolia · 18/11/2007 19:59

Hi Ready how's things? I had totally forgotten about the Highgate Cemetery meet-up!! We should do it - it'll be even more atmospheric in the winter
