Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

((((Nomore)))) - Thinking of you sweetness. I am so hopeful for you! x

mistlethrush · 05/12/2007 22:58

((nomore)) - but ds took 6 yrs, and look what we've got - definitely worth waiting for...

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:38

Mind you 6 weeks time and it'll be 2 years since we started ttc

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:38

Four weeks time and 2007 will be behind us - I just hope the only 'announcements' before then are on here - if they're are in RL I'll scream!!(with one exception - if you're lurking you know who you are )

I'm not too bad with knitting, although have no projects on at the moment - so with all the expertise on this thread, you can always ask the question and if anyone knows the answer they'll respond... Stripes - well, I'm basically self taught (had a few lessons from my godmother but really done most from reading the instructions - what I do is just start the new colour - then knot the new and the previous colour using a reef knot (left over right, right over left), then I try to knit in the ends onto the back as this saves having to wind them into the seams when you finish - what you do is knit a couple of stiches, then move the lose ends in between your left needle and the next stich (this means that they'll either point upwards or downwards) then knit another stich or two and do the same (ie down if was up, up if was down... )

Ds's comments - yes, get quite and a bit teary (me). He's not mentioned 'baby in mummy's tummy' since just before I did the last test (when he said 'there's a baby in your tummy') - and this time he is obviously wanting Father Christmas to bring that... . I've not said anything along these lines - or anything not normal or remotely baby related since then, so not quite sure where he's got it from. Lets hope that Father Christmas makes a bit of a late delivery here - and to some other households on this thread.

That's got me thinking of the New Year's eve when I was in the middle of chemo for the mp when dh told me that really good friends of ours were expecting - he wanted to get all the crap out of the way in the old year in the hope that the following one would get better.

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:16

tigerschick came to my rescue

I am pretty sure there is a MNetter called NotQuiteCockney, she is very knowledgeable with knitting

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 21:49

I'm trying to learn how to knit stripes - have posted on the arts and crafts section since bella deserted me

OP posts:
Ready · 05/12/2007 21:43

Good, you? Just sending you an email, sweets

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 21:38

Curtsies I would have said, but neither looks quite 'right'
How are you my dear?

OP posts:
Ready · 05/12/2007 21:22

or curtsies (sp?)

Ready · 05/12/2007 21:19

Yes I did indeed start the ttc#6 thread - for a laff - I couldn't believe there was a lady that actually was trying for her 6th - I wonder if she got her BFP??

LondonLottie did start the ttc#1 originally didn't she... I hope she is doing ok, I miss her

of the knitting My news years resolution is to practise and take it seriously. As soon as I move house (counting down the days!), I will!! I can aspire to ravelry

Gilly - Sounds like you had a lovely time in Gib

MT - Your ds is adorable. I think what he said is so sweet. Of course it is but it is very sweet.

How is everyone?

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 20:54

I shall come looking for you on there once I'm joined then! How do you change colour then? I've stopped at row 6 to do stripes (I'm inspired by yours!) as the pattern has 66 rows every 6th row would give 11 stripes. I have cream and chocolate brown wool.

BellaBear · 05/12/2007 20:33

8000 took about a fortnight, iirc
when you get on, find me, I'm EllatheElephant on there

BellaBear · 05/12/2007 20:32

See you could have these discussions with everyone who had knitted the hat on ravelry!

I didn't use the right wool, just some odds and ends which is why it is much looser. It's actually too big for the baby I knitted it for. I can't remember what needles I used ... but wait! I've written up the project on ravelry! so all the details will be there!

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 20:30

Cataloguing knitting needles?? That sounds right up my street
Have joined the waiting list - I've got 8051 people in the queue ahead of me though

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 20:28

Love the stripes!! Yours looks much 'looser' than mine - did you use bigger needles or am I'm knitting too tight? It didn't fit DGodS who's 10 months and it was meant to be age 6-12 months

OP posts:
BellaBear · 05/12/2007 20:09

done!

BellaBear · 05/12/2007 20:07

No no you can sign up to the waiting list! You should! Then you can do geeky things like catalgue all your knittingneedles so you don't buy replicas and so on,

I ahve that book as well, and I've knitted that hat. I'll try to put a picture in my profile, hang on.

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 19:57

you're right it was Ready!

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 19:39

Hi Bella I was put off the ravelry site as it looked like I couldn't join (something about it being closed now?) butI will go and have another look. I'm knitting another hat to the same pattern, but the smaller size - it will wait for the next baby (DH's cousin's I think) to arrive. It is Debbie Bliss - from the baby knits for beginners book. Do you know if your baby's a boy or girl? I think it's a girl

OP posts:
BellaBear · 05/12/2007 19:00

Seriously, sign up to ravelry, you'll love it. It takes about a month to get in because they are just at the beta testign stage, but then you can share all your projects and see other projects knitted to the same pattern and it really doesn't matter if you think you are crap. And there is a MN group on there!

Ready started the TTC no. 6 thread, I recall. Didn't Londonlottie start this one?

No names to share - we have them but we're not telling!!

Hi gilly I'm practicing ribs and moss stitch now, there's no stopping me! well there is as I can only knit things that need size 4 or 5 needles as I'm hoping santa might bring me some more so am not buying any!
Am feeling very reflective/nostalgic at the moment, do you remember when we started the ttc#1 thread and there were ttc#2 and #3 and someone posted a ttc#6 as a joke and someone who was ttc#6 joined? Was reminded of this as there are new #2/#3 threads started recently. We're the only original one
