Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Poor you! Have you tried John Lewis? They do free delivery within 2 days and have good prices on toys, blankets etc.. I got a few kids presents from them

mistlethrush · 18/12/2007 17:27

I've just spent 2hrs looking for presents for next door's dts (f) - 20mo and friend at work's dd 14mo and failed miserably. Don't think that those Tshirts would make it in time, otherwise would be a good option.

gillystarrynight · 18/12/2007 16:02

Check these out - they are hilarious!!!!

My favourite is 'spit on that tissue and I'll call social services'

mistlethrush · 18/12/2007 13:35

Next year, possibly - but this year, he cannot remember last year, so, although he has got the idea of Father Christmas and compiled a list, I don't think he can really be too excited. Certainly not at 6.45am on a Monday morning when Christmas hasn't been mentioned at all....

gillystarrynight · 18/12/2007 10:27

organic oats are strong stuff (!)
He is probably hyper because of Christmas.

mistlethrush · 18/12/2007 10:15

Well, from the sound of it, some of Dh's had walking sticks - but you wouldn't believe that to look at ds! Had a comment from nursery yesterday evening that he'd been a bit 'hyper' all day - never stopped apart from sleep in the middle of the day. Anyone would think that I fed him e numbers for breakfast, not porridge made with organic oats and raisens...

gillystarrynight · 18/12/2007 09:34

He chickened out and drove instead. Left the car in a permit only area (there are no other areas in London!) and duly got a bit lost in the hospital, then couldn't find someone to take the sample. Eventually a porter found someone from the lab. Still its done and only took him 5-6 weeks since the GP asked him to. Now lets see what the results are like. We both think there will be a low sperm count or as DH says he has half of them swimming the wrong way and the ones which are going the right way are doing a slow front crawl

mistlethrush · 17/12/2007 22:20

(thinking about what other bus passengers would think if they knew what was actually in that coat pocket/bag....)

Hope he got there in time. I had to be a delivery driver for similar situation. Dh not amused by the whole thing

gillystarrynight · 17/12/2007 12:01

I think everyone must be out shopping!

I went to the GP to pick up my results. My FSH level was 5 which she said was good and certainly did not give her any reason for concern. She run down all sorts of other figures and I am not sure if I got it right - progesterone level at 40.7? Overall she said that I was fine and as soon as DH did his sample and the results came back she would refer us to UCH. The waiting list is about 8 weeks. ?and DH has promised me he would do his sample today! He has even stayed working at home so he can do it but he is going to have to take the bus to hospital to drop it off as there is no parking. I hope he gets there within the hour!

mistlethrush · 17/12/2007 10:27

Ready - hope all goes well with the move , and Happy Christmas etc if you don't get back on before then - hope you do.

Its been very quiet here recently hasn't it? Where's everyone gone?

Ready · 17/12/2007 00:03

Hullo everyone!! Just popping my head round the door real quick... moving house tomorrow, and no idea how long we will be without broadband (dh still not decided which provider he wants )... so want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Be back as soon as I can

xxxx

scorpio1 · 15/12/2007 19:41

MT - i hate it when mothers do that, they dont know just how precious and magical their little bumps are.

i'm having a 3d scan tomorrow!!! so excited, am going to put pics on my profile by tomorrow night.

so, we placing bets? i think she is still a girl but dp not so sure....

i may still have a Dexter!!

gillystarrynight · 14/12/2007 16:17

Boo hiss at lady at the nursery - jammy people!!!

mistlethrush · 13/12/2007 15:57

Grrr...

Just seen mother that used to go to coffee mornings pick up young son from nursery - stopped to say hello etc (I was just going in with violin to help with 'nativity' play !!!!). She said 'we've got another one on the way... due in June.... that will be two under two!' and rolled her eyes.

I think I just shrugged and smiled. But felt like answering along the lines of why on earth was she complaining - it was her decision to start trying when she did, she should just be grateful that it was all going so easily - and I would have been expecting in June too if things hadn't gone awry.

Sorry, rant over. Just needed to get it off my chest....

mistlethrush · 13/12/2007 11:56

Ready - good luck with the move, hope everything arrives unbroken (and on the correct day!)

mistlethrush · 13/12/2007 11:55

Had to make buns this morning for ds (off cows milk products so all baking stuff at nursery unlikely to be ok). And sandwiches and other nibbles. Found that the crisp (Organix, low salt etc) are rather out of date, but have sent him with them anyway

Got so much work to do this morning, don't know what to do next, so am mumsnetting instead !

Ready · 13/12/2007 11:15

Gilly - Yep!!! Storage/Removals or whatever they are called, arrive at our new place at 10.30 am on Monday - Just in time for Christmas. I am still waiting for something to go wrong... but keeping fingers crossed.

You gotta love how quick they learn MT - If cake teaches ds not to bite, then I'm up for that - If I promise not to bite anyone, can I have some cake Don't be hard on yourself, all children bite, they don't know better until they do it.

4 more sleeps

gillystarrynight · 13/12/2007 11:08

V. impressed. Your cat looks like Jamoroqui!

mistlethrush · 12/12/2007 23:18

Feeling very lacking in preparation - as you will have probably noticed when reading my list.. which I haven't had time to do anything about.

I have managed to do CHristmas letter for cards and emailed it to work so I can print it off on the colour printer ([fshcok])

Ds's Christmas party is tomorrow afternoon. Should have made some cakes this evening, but not managed. I'll let you know about the effect of the clown tomorrow evening!

Feeling a bit of a bad mother - he bit his best friend yesterday (I am friendly with his mother too!!!) () Ds was put on time out at nursery, then not allowed any Beebies when he got home (usually may have 20 - 30mins chill out between nursery and bed and eat supper at the same time), and had no cake for pudding either! He came home and told us that 'I've not bitten x today, I want cake' !!!!! i think he will learn quite quickly that it doesn't work like that!

Nomore - great hat, and very impressed that the cat will wear it! (Mind you, my mother made one of the family dogs a 'bride's dog' costume, although she only wore it for about 3 mins as the other dog went frantic when she 'wore' anything!!!

PiggyPenguin · 12/12/2007 19:20

Hi all, glad to hear the hats are coming on well Nomore, that's a very accessorised cat you have there!

Gilly, I think everyone loves to have presents that people have spent time and effort on don't they? Otherwise they don't deserve them.

How is everyelse else? MT, Ready? where is everyone at the moment? Christmas shopping probably!

nomoremagnolia · 12/12/2007 18:27

Have added a pic to my profile of my latest hat being modelled by my cat

nomoremagnolia · 12/12/2007 18:21

gilly LLL is fifi And the numbers in brackets are if you're making the bigger size! I've made my second hat now and I've been and bought more needles so I can make a jumper next.

gillystarrynight · 12/12/2007 14:17

LLL this TTC thing is a right rollercoaster and there are some very, very low times within it. We have all been there, you are not alone ? vent off all you want. How is your PCOS being treated?

MT how did the clown go down? My DH when little would have screamed blue murder. He and his brother HATE painted faces on people, let alone themselves. I really don?t know why, neither does MIL.

Ready how is the house move going? Are you going to be able to get all your stuff out for storage for Christmas?

Nomore, how?s that knitting? I gave up on my ?draft? try of the DB hat. I found it too hard to read the pattern (what do the number in brackets mean?). I am doing the baby blanket instead and learning lots of different stitches. I can?t decide whether to keep it for my yet to be conceived child or to give it to a work colleague as a baby present. She is due in March. Thing is it may be a disaster and not really up to scratch, she is an investment a manger?s wife and has very, very nice (read expensive) things. I think that , even if it turns out perfect, it may look a bit poor compared to all her other stuff

How is everyone else? Sybil, where are you? Fifi are you still around? And Kensgirl?

Ready · 12/12/2007 10:24

MT - You'll have to let us know how ds reacted to the clown

Hope everyone is well?

mistlethrush · 11/12/2007 11:48

Was warned by nursery that there is a Christmas party on Thursday afternoon at which a clown is invited ! It has been suggested that I may need to talk to ds about the clown (and Father Christmas) coming - at which I think I looked a bit surprised. Thought I had better broach the subject this morning - ds grinned widely, so should be OK
