Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

New thread especially for Ready

Good, I think Ready- thanks for asking. Have also put up picture of my bump...so yo know what I'll be stroking on your behalf! Will have new scan pic in a few weeks, and hopefully a name...19 weeks and counting. I have a friend who, the whole way through her pregnancy kept saying to me (who was on meds to try and conceive...and she knew it) "you really don't want this"
I can honestly say that I am wishing you all suffer backache, flatulence and stretch marks, because I know ho wmuch you all want it!

Ready · 07/01/2008 17:48

Lovely to see you Floss - Hope all is well. Had a sneaky look at your profile at your scan pic, hope you don't mind How's it all going?

makecakesnotwar · 07/01/2008 17:43

Hello all- justpopped my head roundto check in and to sprinkle New Year baby dust over you all very liberally, if that's OK with you. Hoping this is the lucky year (and indeed month) for you all. You have all been so supportive to me, I can't tell you how grateful I am....special hello to nomore, who is knitting baby Uggs!

Ready · 07/01/2008 16:17

Well in which case Sybil I take your one beauty product to be Oil of Olay
But come on girls - you can't tell me that you don't pamper yourselves at all?? It can be anything - and if you like, you can say what item you couldn't live with before you had children.

mistlethrush · 07/01/2008 13:24

Sybil - I agree - its the mornings that you eventually make it into the Ladies at about 11.30 (having coming into the building first thing in the morning thinking you'd have to go to the loo soon...) and find that, when you look in the mirror that you never did manage to get round to doing your hair and that there is some weetabix (or other, potentially worse substance) on the shoulder of your jacket from when ds got a bit carried away at breakfast time when beauty products really do take the back seat!

Back at work - not sure I'll manage the whole day as finding it difficult to focus (actually, rather than just on doing the work) which makes ready and using screen difficult - so not going to be long here as it makes me feel even more peculiar...

PiggyPenguin · 07/01/2008 13:15

Ah Ready, that would have been a good question before I had the kids...

Now, I'm lucky to get time to slap on a bit of much needed Olay moisturiser in the morning. On bad days I am still running around in my pj's at 8.15 and I need to leave the house with my two bright faced darlings by 8.30! And, after the mums on the school run have already seen you in no-make-up, hair in hasty pony tail mode, it seems a waste to go home and then preceed to do a full face.

Ready · 07/01/2008 10:31

OK!!! Let's get this thread moving again

Ready's Random Question: What one beauty product could you not live without?

For me, Liz Earle cleanse & polish! I love it. And without it I would look even more of a spotty teenager

nomoremagnolia · 06/01/2008 21:18

Really like James Sybil

OP posts:
Ready · 06/01/2008 12:42

Sybil, James is a lovely name. Great choice. For fun times Jamie is sweet, but when he needs to be taken seriously James sounds so strong.

PiggyPenguin · 06/01/2008 12:37

Hey all, thanks for the names Ready, I like them all especially Noah but dh is very very fussy. He has decided he likes James, and the kids really like Jamie and have started calling my bump that so I suspect that the decision will be taken out of my hands. Although I do really like James, so perhaps not a bad thing.

It really is deserted here at the moment. Sadly not like a tropical beach with only you and a waiter carrying a never ending supply of margeritas (golden, obviously) but close.

Ready · 05/01/2008 18:00

It's oh so quiet

it's oh so still
you're all alone
and so peaceful until...
you blow a fuse
zing boom
the devil cuts loose
zing boom
so what's the use
wow bam
of falling in love

Ready · 05/01/2008 11:00

I had gone. And I suspect the same is true of you now

I remember those ugg boots... oooh they are soo lovely, and I am not really a fan of Ugg boots for grown-ups. at your knitting skills.

nomoremagnolia · 04/01/2008 22:48

I'm here, but you're probably gone now
Do any of you remember the knitted baby ugg boots? Well I've started knitting them!!

OP posts:
Ready · 04/01/2008 20:51

Wheeeerrrreeeeee iiiiissssss eevvvvvveerrrryyyyybbbooooodddddyyyyyyyyy????

Ready · 03/01/2008 10:26

Thanks Sybil - Would you go for a 'a' sounding finish, or would you prefer them to all look the same written down? If the 'a' sound is ok...How about Connor?? Oliver? Alexander? Oscar? Noah? Micah?

PiggyPenguin · 03/01/2008 09:45

Oh Ready, I am sorry, but your turn will come. In the meantime, we get to appreciate you.

Scorpio, you must be so excited! what a fantastic start to the new year.

Nomore, I'm open to all sorts of names but dh likes traditional. Both ds and dd (who loved, loved loved her dog by the way)have traditional names and both end in 'a', so another of those would be nice, although I thibk I may already have the only boys one. (Joshua). Our surname is two syllables and starts with a b, so fairly easy to match. Any ideas?

Ready · 03/01/2008 00:24

MT, maybe next new years you can relax with the hootenanny - and a new baby I feel a little sombre this evening... looked back at some old posts, and one one thread everyone has graduated but me so feeling a little left behind. Daft I know.
Sorry don't want to bring down the thread

mistlethrush · 02/01/2008 22:32

Wow - what a busy day!! and after so many slow ones...

My sil was married at 5 mo (her dress made it look 7 months, but it didn't matter!) - hope your day goes really well! One good piece of advice I was given was try to take 30 mins out during the day for yourselves - having a little time out does help to enable you to savour the day more easily - and you'll probably need it!

Ready - we are hoping that things are somewhat less dramatic than they were at the end of last year! Hows things going with you?

Ready · 02/01/2008 21:23

The disposable camera pictures are great to look at, because of course you can't be on all the tables, and it's great to see how everyone enjoyed themselves.

Wedding fever

scorpio1 · 02/01/2008 18:57

yeah we are doing disposable ones on tables and out-laws, my parents and 2 sets of friends will have digi cameras, they have been ordered!

and am so chuffed my dress is maternity! (big bump emoticon) also have a cream fake fur shrug to go with it.

nomoremagnolia · 02/01/2008 18:51

sift through the best cameras? They won't be your friends after that
Seriously I agree with Ready It all goes by so quickly. Some of our best photos were from the disposable cameras we put out on the tables (in 2002 only 2 people at our wedding had digital cameras )

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 02/01/2008 18:44

oh we're not having a photographer, lots of people will have digi cameras and we are going to sift through the best ones after!

We are doing it cheaply

Ready · 02/01/2008 18:36

oooh how exciting Scorpio!! I love weddings. I went to one just before Christmas and it was lovely. My pearl of wisdom, is, savour every minute. The day goes by so quick, it's unreal and if you can afford it, get the photographer to take LOADS of photos. You won't regret it.

scorpio1 · 02/01/2008 18:29

wedding is 2 weeks saturday, the 19th.

hope all well?

and god, some people can be so nosey can't they about how/when/if/how many children. i just smile sweetly.

lots of peple have thought Millie was an accident or that im nuts , err, no i am not. and yes, i may have more after this one (god willing). nosey beggars.

Ready · 02/01/2008 18:23

MT - My word!! Your new years eve sounds horrendous. Hug. Would it be churlish to sing "things can only get better"? Onwards and upwards hey!!

Nomore - I am sure you didn't bore anyone with your knitting. I am super impressed

Sybil - How exciting, a boy huh - please continue to share your news with us, it's always lovely to hear how people are getting on. Nomore hit the nail on the head, it's getting forgotten about that stings the most. And hey, I am always first in line to talk names - what did you have in mind? Do you have a regular surname or a funky one? Obviously don't tell us, but just so we know how far we can go with first name ideas 'citing
