Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Ready - keep up with the optimism!

Re knitting - are you having a go at anything, or are you just putting it off as you feel you can't do it? I'm putting it off because I'm knackered! Doing quite a bit in the evenings to try to get my other business going a little more regularly and don't feel like starting anything after that.

Ready · 04/02/2008 09:58

Nope... no knitting going on MT... I am rubbish

T'is very quiet like you say... I think it is the winter blues

Although, as per bleedin' usual, I am optimistic and bouncy. There is no keeping me quiet - When CD1 rolls round I hit rock bottom, and I think, I am never going to feel optimistic about this ttc again. Pah! Within a week I am temping like a newbie, pondering my chart, thinking about the possibilities. I am a law unto myself, and I am certain that before too long it will all come crashing down around me.

I mean, the optimism cannot be endless, surely?

mistlethrush · 04/02/2008 09:17

Hi Nomore - close in terms of timescale aren't we?

Its been very quiet around here lately... Where is everybody?

Any knitting happening?

nomoremagnolia · 02/02/2008 14:16

I'm still lurking, just not got much to say at the moment CD1

2 things in the post yesterday... Appointment for next Thurs for recurrent mc; confirmation that ds has got into one of the schools we went round last week, so a bit of and in th mistlethrush household.

Its been snowing up here, although it isn't settleing (sp? - with or without e ?) - when I say up here, it will be down here for some people, but probably not the majority....

Af arrived today. Rather peculiarly, after years of a 28 day cycle, just had 2 25 day cycles which is very strange.

hobnobs · 01/02/2008 11:04

Hello everyone. Well, just back from my day 21 (well 19 for me) blood test. Also had a vaginal swab to rule out any infection and the nurse mentioned that I have a retroverted cervix though she didn't think it would make conception any harder. Just done a bit of reading on Mumsnet and elsewhere about this and there seem to be various (conflicting) opinions about this though lots who say they got pregnant without trying !
Thanks for the sharing your experience of semen analysis tests! Just need to persuade DH to book his appointment now (they only do it two days a week so hope he won't have to wait too long for it). After the discomfort (albeit minor) I've been through this morning, it's the least he can do

PiggyPenguin · 01/02/2008 11:00

Hey all, its been really quiet on here! Was really hoping for snow today but sadly is not going to happen.

Is everyone ok? Am a bit concerned about you all when you are so quiet...

Ready · 30/01/2008 16:49

Haha!! MT, I know, that's why I put the - I had a book and everything Bless him, he knew he was working to a time scale

mistlethrush · 30/01/2008 16:43

Ready !!5 mins!! I certainly had to keep myself out of the way for a lot longer than that!!! I think that dh got nervous thinking about it and the pressure got to him...!

Ready · 30/01/2008 16:31

Lottie, I will repeat what I said on the temp thread about being pleased to see you back ? but then that is it, I won?t say it a third time in the ttc#1 forever thread
Looking forward to your new name - what have you been up to lately?

Thanks for the crossed fingers Hobnobs, I am getting anxious about it if I am honest, nothing in the post today, and I know it is only Wednesday, but still?
I remember when we had to take dh?s sperm to the hospital, it was comical. I sat in the car on the driveway waiting for him to do his thing. Gawd knows what the neighbours thought I was doing for 5 minutes just sitting there. Then we had to drive 20 minutes to the hospital, and there was nowhere to park so dh had to get out and walk, cup in hand while I circled the entire facility. How we laughed
I am sorry your dh is struggling with the idea that he might have an issue ? but better to find out than not. There is so much that can be done for semen issues, and their test is far less invasive than what we women have to go through, so best to do that first Hope all goes well.
I have got the TCOYF book too, it?s very interesting. I would say the best thing about charting (for me) is seeing the temp spike and feeling content that I have ovulated, it?s nice to see that we had sex at the right times, more relaxed perhaps ? although it hasn?t made any real difference so far . I guess it just gives me a sense of control, because ttc can be so frustrating and make you feel anything but in control. If that makes sense?

Thinking of you Nomore sweetheart, really missing you. Hope that you are ok? And you know where I am if you need to rant or vent or whatever. Hugs

Big wave to everyone else

Oh? Has anyone heard of KateWalsh? Her album is called Tim?s House ? love it. Just thought I would throw that out there? since I can?t comment on knitting because I still haven?t done any

Hobnobs - Hello! I know what you mean about the drive in - I've done 'taxi' service for dh in similar circumstances - we live about 6.5 miles from hospital so should be easy, but you have to get your timings right... Dh ended up having the day off when I was on a no work day (was meant to be doing college work that day!) and I basically left him alone until I was summoned! Hope all goes well.

hobnobs · 30/01/2008 11:23

Hello everyone.
Am a bit rubbish at keeping up. Fingers crossed for the job Ready . I ended up feeling ovulation pains last Friday evening so think my calcualations for my blood test were right after all although we didn't BD until Saturday morning (can't quite believe I'm sharing this information) which was probably a bit late.

DH has picked up his leaflets etc about sperm testing from the doctor though not quite sure how long it will be before he gets round to it - I think that psychologically he's finding it difficult to deal with any suggestion that there might be a problem on his side. It would just be good to know if there are any underlying problems either way. We have to take it to a hospital that's at least 30 minutes drive away within an hour of doing the deed - just hope the rush hour traffic isn't too bad!

Nomore I really feel for you. I alternate between feeling relieved that I've taken the first steps by just going to the doctor and unsure about how I'll feel, if we end up going down the assisted conception route (whilst I know it will take some time to get to that stage, we won't be able to hang around too long if that's we need to do).

I've just bought TCOYF by Toni Wechsler. Haven't got very far with it yet but have a question for those of you who are charting, if my cycles are fairly regular and I can usually detect ovulation with OPK, what are the main advantages of charting?

Ready · 29/01/2008 16:16

Oh yes... my mistake... the other thread

nomoremagnolia · 29/01/2008 16:07

Ready · 29/01/2008 15:46

Ok? someone tell me? did I dream LondonLottie popping back in?? Where did she go?

Sorry I have not been about for a few days, been a tad busy? had a job interview last week, eek, should hear whether I have been selected for the post some time this week. Fingers crossed. And then we had some friends come to stay, which was lovely. But it meant no time on MN

Scorpio Whaleish Tut. You look lovely!

Gilly, that website looks really cool. Will have to have a gander when I get five minutes. Shame there wasn?t any wool on sale on JL, but good for you for braving a London branch!! I found my knitting book, but I am still procrastinating. I wonder if I am subconsciously trying to delay the knitting thing ??
I had a giggle at you confessing to still calling each other wifey and hubby ? I shan?t repeat me and dh nicknames, but suffice to say, the novelty of pet names hasn?t worn off in our house either

Hobnobs, I don?t think that one day will make a dramatic difference on your Day21 test, however, I would be inclined to mention to the GP that you think you ovulated later than expected so if your progesterone level is not as high as they are expecting, then you should be able to do the test again to be sure.

Sybil, where does the time go? 20 weeks already hope you are doing well?

MT, funny you should say about spring being on its way? I was thinking that this morning. Planning in my head when to start growing tomatoes and peppers this year. Thinking of trying some salad things too, but not sure what is best in a grow bag or pot. There are also some shrubs that could do with some attention before spring, otherwise they will look awful come summer.

Nomore, thinking of you lots flower. Hope that the wait for IVF is short, now that you know what you are going to do next, it makes sense to get on and do it. Hopefully you won?t be waiting long.

Poppy, how nice to see you, although of course I wish none of us were on this side of MN? but you knew what I meant Good luck at your appointment, hope it brings some relief for you, if only that you feel a little more in control of the situation.

Anyone else I have missed? apologies hope you are well

mistlethrush · 28/01/2008 21:59

Gilly / Poppy - similar timescale here too - mc Oct 06 and again Oct 07 (effectively 'on-line' on mn...) - meant to be being referred for recurrent mc (as that's 3 out of 4), but not got any appointment through yet which is a bit annoying. Will have to do some phone calls...

poppy75 · 28/01/2008 19:41

Whoops I meant July '06 just realised how long ago that seems!!!

poppy75 · 28/01/2008 19:28

Thanks Gilly - My mc was July '07 so we've both been trying for around the same length of time. Thanks for the info, I guess I was really hoping that they could go ont he tests we've already had. I seem to spend all my time waiting for the next test and not really getting anywhere!! I guess I'm too impatient with this!

I keep thinking that if I hadn't have had my mc I wouldn't have been so focused on ttc.

Although your DH's tests were down they must be ok as you fell pregnant last time.

I really would like investigations into any blockages in tubes as my sister had a problem that was ok after laporoscopy.

Hello guys - I'm in and out of MN but some of you might remember me. MC 18 months ago and nothing since. Have my first clinic appointment on thursday and was wondering if any of you had any tips or questions I should ask.

What do they normally do? DH sperm are ok, I'm ovulating and GP blood tests have been fine, so not sure what the next step is [hmn}

scorpio1 · 28/01/2008 12:18

thankyou a much needed boost to my self esteem i do feel a bit whaleish at the moment, i am used to being a size 6/8 and this is my biggest ever baby bump!

nomoremagnolia · 28/01/2008 12:16

Hi Scorpio I have now seen your wedding pictures (had been posting from mobile so couldn't view them before) You look amazing - I hope I look like that when I'm 30 wks pg Can't believe there's only 10 weeks to go - it doesn't seem that long since you got your BFP!
