Hi everyone! I got my BFP two days ago at 9DPO I'll attach a pic. 11DPO and line is much darker today. 2nd proper cycle TTC wouldn't count the first month as I had irregular bleeds after coming off pill. Sending baby dust to all!! X

@Lozzlepop sorry, that should say what do you PLAN to do numbers wise

thislittlebird · 16/03/2021 17:25

Honestly @Lozzlepop we could have had about 13 I think, but I didn’t want anyone there because I’m weird like that lmao. But I had a few, 7 in the daytime time and 9 in the evening for a really chilled sit down dinner in a nice area of a decent restaurant. I nearly did it with just us and witnesses but had to invite some after the off on off on again nonsense. What did you do numbers wise?

@XjustagirlX I don’t know much about Nk cells but I guess it’s good they’re not high high? I should read up. Do you know what steroids? I’m on steroids for resistant to treatment papular eczema right now and not sure whether to ttc while I’m taking them.

@Amy259 I totally lost it on Sunday night tbh. Friend posted her and her mum and she’s due this month. I don’t have a great mother and I’m still ttc....it hit hard. I hope everyone still trying didn’t have too terrible a day Flowers

XjustagirlX · 16/03/2021 07:35

@Amy259 I know what you mean about Mother’s Day. I did notice this year lots of people were sharing love for people who are struggling to be mothers. This was nice to see.

It will hopefully happens for us all one day. 💓

XjustagirlX · 16/03/2021 07:32

I got my nk cells results back.

For my dpo the normal range is between 1% and 5%. The high range is between 5% and about 11%. My results was 6%. So they have said I have high nk cells. I was just on the borderline into the high section.

Tbh I feel kind of happy. Knowing that some treatment will be given but also that it looks like I might not need a second biopsy.

The difference between ‘normal’ and ‘high’ treatment is the steroid drug. I have heard that sometimes the steroid drug negatively affects the lining and I do think I might also have a lining issue so I’m not sure what to think of with that.

I debated getting a second biopsy done anyway. But if the answer comes back as high then I will still be given the same treatment. And if the answer comes back normal I think I would still be given the ‘high’ treatment as I had at least one high result.

Amy259 · 14/03/2021 17:08

Hi ladies, hope you’re all good! The Mother’s Day posts hit me a little today (which I hadn’t really thought about beforehand) so just wanted to spread some love ♥️

Lozzlepop · 11/03/2021 17:30

Hi all,

@Annny27 well I am taking that with a pinch of salt as I was told that my progesterone levels were fine but then was told this? How was the AMH test? Is it just a blood test?

@thislittlebird we only pushed back by a month, it was just going to be too tight to get my dress back etc! Did you manage to have the numbers you wanted? They never gave me any levels- I only had one of the 2 tests done as the nurse couldn't get blood out of me the first time lol

@Kiza so pleased to hear you are doing well!

@MIW01 so sorry to hear about the cock up thats so frustrating! Will they fast track things for you?

@XjustagirlX sorry to hear the procedure was painful! By the time you've done the recurrent mc tests the IVF appointment won't be so far away!

@orangeloo nice to hear from you! New job is going well thanks, I've got 6 weeks of training so still a way off until I actually get stuck into the job lol! Whats the IVF process been like for you so far? Just so I know what to potentially expect lol!

Just filled all of my IVF forms in this afternoon and it all seems scarily real now!!

thislittlebird · 11/03/2021 16:18

Oh sorry @XjustagirlX, I read hysteroscopy as the long name for HSG, my mistake. Still frustrating they don’t offer proper pain relief for any of these things.

orangeloo · 11/03/2021 15:41

Hey ladies, it's been a little while. Feels like I've had loads going on but I haven't really. The journey to IVF is seriously time consuming though.

@Annny27 that's a great amh nice to have that reassurance even if the eggs don't seem to be playing ball.

@Lozzlepop how's your new job? Have you arranged a new date for wedding?

@Kiza lovely to hear about your scan glad your getting on well.

So I should be starting IVF this period or next depending on if AF decides to come early or not. I had the earliest spotting I've ever had so I suspect she might come earlier. Typical of my uterus to throw a last minute curve ball. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 she behaves.

XjustagirlX · 11/03/2021 15:18

@thislittlebird my hycosy was absolutely fine. Not painful at all just slightly uncomfortable. It was the biopsy and hysteroscopy which hurt. Ye I think everyone has varying degrees of pain which just doesn’t make sense.

thislittlebird · 11/03/2021 12:21

I find these tests so different when people report back and I’m bricking it that mine will be like yours @XjustagirlX. Some people have no issue, others have a lot of pain. I don’t get why they’re so variable and it seems like some more pain relief should be offered in case they are painful.

I’m having to take a break due to medication but contemplating getting a hycosy done while I can’t ttc.

Oh @Annny27 my amh isn’t a world away from yours, it’s 36! Not terrible for my age. AF is here and it is normal for me 👀. Very exciting tbh, I’d be freaking out about light and short periods for months, this is positive. A dermatologist has also put me on a low dose anti anxiety med so I’m hoping that will help me too, when we can ttc again in late April early may.

Amy259 · 10/03/2021 15:01

@Annny27 thank you! Haha well at least I’m not alone in the obsessive thoughts!

@XjustagirlX that sounds awful, hope you’re feeling better now!

XjustagirlX · 10/03/2021 14:50

@Annny27 no it wasn’t crampy. It was like someone had shoved a sword up there. Ye I feel like hopefully things are moving and coming together around the end of March.

Annny27 · 10/03/2021 11:33

That's soooo frustrating @MIW01 honestly it's like they do it on purpose:(

Did they reschedule for you??

I had my AMH results back - 41 pmol/l :D so very normal for my age which i am happy about! Still not pregnant so if my eggs could start acting like they are there that would be good 😂

@XjustagirlX lots happening for you over the next few month then! Was it like a crampy pain?

@kiza absolutely amazing I am so glad you had a good scan! Can you show us your scan photo on Sunday- I would LOVE to see :)

@amy259 welcome lovely - I have to br honest I think about ttc all day every day! It's so hard not to when it's all that you want!

@thislittlebird any AF sign?

XjustagirlX · 09/03/2021 16:32

So my hysteroscopy was really painful as I expected. I was so terrified of the pain I asked my gp for high strength codeine. It still really hurt though. He said that every looked ok on camera and there were no cysts or anything. He said the biopsy will take a couple of weeks to come back.

Annoyingly he said I should have a follow up appointment in 6 weeks where I do the ivf firms. The letter cane through and it’s 3 months away!

I’ve got my recurrent miscarriage tests in 3 weeks too.

Amy259 · 09/03/2021 16:13

Hi ladies, do you mind if I join in?

I’m 30, 3dpo into cycle 8 TTC #1. Feel like over the last 8 months I’ve read/googled more than my brain can handle - how do you switch off?! Always stressing about something, waiting for something, over thinking everything. DH starting to struggle a bit now with performing when he knows it counts too, which isn’t helping the overall stress levels!

Reading this thread has been very comforting. Been in a couple of threads (dip in and out of MN) now but moving on from early ttc threads to feel a bit less lonely on this journey the longer it’s taking. I’ve had day21 bloods and all seems fine there, and DH has SA pot awaiting him.

Hope you’re all having a good Tuesday x

MIW01 · 09/03/2021 12:42

So the NHS has cooked up again! Apparently the Dr who referred me for AMH - her approvals haven't gone through the CCG so it got rejected. I need to wait until the GP surgery contacts me to say her approval has gone through and then go for my AMH test. This really is a piss take!!! Hope you had better luck @Annny27?

@thislittlebird nothing said about another scan atm

Thanks for reassurance @Kiza but apparently if it's too low I won't qualify for NHS funding!

Good luck @XjustagirlX and @Lozzlepop

Kiza · 07/03/2021 12:40

@Annny27 sorry I've been a bit MIA, tiredness kicks in strong after work and am going to bed around 8pm most nights!
Scan was wonderful, even though eggsy was a blob just seeing the umbilical cord and heart beat was amazing. We've booked a private scan for Mother's Day so DP can come along. Have had my midwife appointment and routine bloods and all looking great 🤞🏼🤞🏼💓

@MIW01 @Annny27 good news that you're getting your Amh done soon, although don't be disheartened if it's low as mine was but still managed to get a good egg!

@yeahwhynot my DP also had low morphology on both his SA, he took a mixture of zinc, lycopene, vitamin e. It didn't improve his morphology but doubled his count and motility to incredibly high levels so could be worth it?

thislittlebird · 06/03/2021 12:14

Oh no when did you postpone to @Lozzlepop? We had to change ours twice last year and ended up doing it in October in the end.

Can I ask what your progesterone was? Mine was 10 last time round so I’m really hoping they’ll offer me clomid. I’m assuming this was nhs?

I had an early day 14 ovulation this month (if I ovulated at all Confused) @Annny27, so I’m expecting AF the next few days, I’m 10 dpo.

Annny27 · 06/03/2021 10:35

Morning ladies 🥰 around 4dpo now so a bit of an early ovulation at cd13 for me!

@lozzlepop that's interesting I didnt know clomid could be used for that! I am having my AMH test on monday! Bit nervous for it 🥴

@XjustagirlX how did the procedure go?

@thislittlebird some of the waiting times are ridiculous arent they!!

Hows everyone else doing @MIW01 @orangeloo @lottiepink @Kiza

Lozzlepop · 03/03/2021 11:30

@XjustagirlX good luck for today, I hope your appointment goes well and its not too uncomfortable ❤️

XjustagirlX · 02/03/2021 17:25

@Lozzlepop I’ve got my hysteroscopy tomorrow morning. I’m absolutely terrified. My nk cells biopsy hurt so much that I’m so worried about the pain. I’ve got codeine off my gp to hopefully make it better. Apparently gas and air won’t be available ‘coz covid’. At the appointment I’m going to ask to be put on the ivf list now so we can get the process started.

I’ve finally got my recurrent miscarriage appointment. It’s booked for 30th March for a booking in call and then I go and get my bloods the next day.

By May I should hopefully have my recurrent miscarriage results and my nk results.

Unless there is a good medical reason to not TTC after I do my rmu tests we are just going to start trying straight away. I’m not missing anymore cycles. And I don’t want to wait for the results before trying again.

Lozzlepop · 02/03/2021 17:06

Hey hey!!

Sorry I have dipped out of the chat again! Been a bit of a mental week- started my new job on Monday last week and postponed our wedding on the Tuesday lol 🙈

@Annny27 I am booked in for my AMH in April, the Clomid was offered to try and increase my progesterone levels (although she told me they were fine) but was also offered progesterone pessaries but only after getting pregnant! Just feel like I'm getting told conflicting info all the time!

How is everyone else doing? A big welcome to all the new ladies, quite a lot of new names ☺️

@Kiza how are you getting along?

@orangeloo @XjustagirlX how are you ladies doing?

thislittlebird · 02/03/2021 15:35

I’m waiting for the gynaecologist referral appointment @Annny27, feels like ages away

Annny27 · 02/03/2021 11:37

@thislittlebird what appointment are you waiting for?

I am ovulating atm haven't managed to dtd much this month :/ but we will still be hopeful!

@kiza did you have your scan? ❤
