@orangeloo oh I am over the moon for you!! Congratulations 🥳

@Kiza 22 weeks! Congratulations on your boy, they are amazing & so loving 💙

As always ladies, I forever have my fingers & toes crossed for you all xxx

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 15:40

Thank you @XjustagirlX

Sorry to hear about DH sperm but it's good that you have funding approved and a way forward already.

XjustagirlX · 14/06/2021 15:17

@orangeloo huge congratulations! I’m so happy for you.

We have received my DH sperm dna fragmentation results this morning. He has 33% which is outside the fertile range of 25% so another blow.

What is really frustrating is the nhs constantly told us his sperm analysis is normal which technically it is. I have researched it and it turns out those sperm analysis normal results are just the lower range for the 5 percentile.

So even though his results were above the lower limits he is still in the lowest 10-15 percentile of men. I cannot believe the nhs still use sperm analysis as it doesn’t show anything useful. People end up assuming sperm is normal when in fact it isn’t. It is giving false readings.

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 14:55

@Kiza Thank you. I haven't spoken with clinic yet but will tomorrow as that's my OTD. I'm not sure when they will tell me to stop but I too will have surplus and will wean off gradually. I will be too scared to just stop and I'm surprised they actually tell people to do this. Yes I believe they will do an early scan around week 7 and then I graduate to GP

Kiza · 14/06/2021 14:49

@orangeloo woohoo that's great news FET worked first time for you. I was the same early on of not knowing which symptoms are down to the drugs or what was natural pregnancy symptoms. How long do you need to continue to take progesterone for? My clinic said to stop at 12 weeks but I had surplus and decided to slowly wean off.
Do you get an early scan with the clinic?

@Annny27 yes we're having a little boy which is super handy as I get all my sisters things for free!! Spotting is so random, some women I know had it for a while during early pregnancy and some didn't have any. I used to be a regular spotter but after IVF didn't have any, I wonder if that was down to the high level progesterone I was taking though?

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 14:23

@CycloGoose thank you lovely 🥰💜💜💜💜💜💖💖💖 xxxxxxxxx

CycloGoose · 14/06/2021 14:02

❤️💖❤️💖❤️💖❤️ I'm absolutely delighted for you @orangeloo xxxxxxxxx

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 09:53

@Annny27 Well it's good your spotting has eased even if it just helps you stay more positive each cycle.

I have felt quite dizzy and lightheaded the last 5 days. Felt nauseous. Hot sweats at night. I'm on oestrogen and progesterone so I couldn't rely on these and just kept putting it all down to the drugs. The most reliable symptom I did have I now know, was in the implantation window I had this pinching throbbing pain In The same spot for a day and a half.
X

Annny27 · 14/06/2021 09:04

No deffo not TMI! It will help me if I am ever in that situation. Spotting is so common in tww and early pregnancy but as you say, it's never bene positive for us before so you jump to the "oh it's not worked". But sooo pleased that it was a positive sign for you :D

Do you have any other symptoms?

I haven't been spotting as much recently but ita definitely a beige tinge to my cm only when wiping for a few days before period and then one day of proper brown spotting. If I wasn't investigating each wipe on toilet paper I wouldnt been notice! (My period arrived a few days ago so onto next cycle!)

Thank you @Annny27 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It is shocking haha. Feel like I'm dreaming. I do hope you get your sticky baby real soon. Xx

Absolutely- I spotted from two days after transfer up to yesterday so I seriously had doubts our embaby could hang on. I also had a couple of old looking clots. Spotting was a bit of pinky red and dark brown and light brown.
Sorry tmi I just want to reassure anyone that experiences this.

Annny27 · 14/06/2021 08:49

@orangeloo I am absolutely delighted for you ❤❤❤❤ a HUGE congratulations to you both! Must be so shocking to see a bfp after all these years!

When was your spotting and what was it like? As a serial spotter you must have thought oh great this is the start of normal period arriving! But I am so pleased it wasnt :D :D

** that should read hardest shittest journey. Definitely not shortest. We wish!

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 07:42

Also I've been on this chat for 2.5 years. And it has been a great support for me so I just want to say thank you. Xx

orangeloo · 14/06/2021 07:41

Thank you @Annny27
All that crossing must of helped because I've just had my first ever BFP's

I can't believe these tests are mine. Feel like I don't know what to do with myself at all. I am on cloud 9! I know we have a long way to go but for now I am pregnant and overjoyed.

I am thinking of all you this is the hardest shortest journey and you are all amazing. I wish you all love and your own good news. X

@Kiza OTD is tomorrow but we went for today as OH goes away tomo.

I'm 10DP5DT today.

@orangeloo will be crossing all my fingers and toys for you!! Yes it's nice to be in the bubble I imagine testing will be very nerve wracking!

@kiza wow 22 weeks!!! Are you blue or pink or dont know yet?

And yes would deffo consider ivf but I wont get funding untill November and my surgery for endo will hopefully happen before then and I am hoping we can conceive naturally after that 🤞🤞

@Lozzlepop oh wow! Congratulations on your day!

@orangeloo how exciting! Glad FET went well for you, I ended up testing 2 days early but I remember I just couldn't look so made my partner. When's your OTD?

@XjustagirlX great news that your funding has been approved and come through. Fingers crossed they accept your just naturally a slight build and can get cracking with IVF!

@thislittlebird it's so frustrating how inconsistent the NHS is with IVF. Some areas are great and some are shockingly bad! Ours is classed as good but we didn't have the best experience with them. I really wish the government would put more funding into fertility and IVF.

@Annny27 sorry to hear it's another month of bleeding for you. I can't recall if you said but have you considered the IVF route?

Now at 22 weeks ladies and this old timer is really starting to believe all is going to work out well 🙏🏼

orangeloo · 11/06/2021 14:49

@Annny27 I'm 7dp5dt so I could test but I'd rather stay in the bubble a bit longer and incase it ruins my weekend haha.

Annny27 · 11/06/2021 12:40

@Orangeloo do you know what dpt you are or are you trying not to think about it?

I am 14dpo and spotting today so period arriving tomorrow or sunday I think!

Stunning @Lozzlepop congratulations 🥳

@Annny27 I have frozen embaby on board. It was amazing and straightforward. Felt great for a couple of days. Had some spotting so just swinging between hope and not thinking this is it. The tww is hard although work has been a good distraction and I am actually coping better with it than I thought.

Annny27 · 09/06/2021 17:10

@xjustagirlx oh that's interesting as mine is low too (always struggled to keep weight on and both parents and my siblings are all tall and thin too haha)

Will try pack on a few pounds to get my up to funding level then!

OP posts:
XjustagirlX · 09/06/2021 10:52

@Lozzlepop congratulations. What a great photo.

I went for my AMH blood test and my scan last week at the ivf clinic. They weighed me and it turns out my BMI is 18 and it needs to be 19 for funding!

My BMI has been 19 for about 10 years (I am naturally very small as is my mum). I think I must have lost weight when I started cutting gluten out a few weeks ago or maybe the stress of ivf and work.

My funding has already come through so I guess I will find out next week at my consultation if they are happy to go ahead or if I need to put weight on. The clinic don’t cere about my low BMI but it’s the funding which has actually already been approved.

Annny27 · 07/06/2021 22:11

@lozzlepop congratulations beautiful!!! You both look so lovely ❤❤❤

Glad that you managed to go ahead with it all! How does it feel? I loved being in the newlywed bubble

@orangeloo do you have a frozen embaby on board yet?
