@Annny27 we have 4 embryos in the freezer. Hopefully at least one of them works. Although I do believe my issue was that I needed prednisoline tablets.

Annny27 · 13/08/2023 22:09

Oh he is such a little cutie @Kiza ♥️♥️ yeah he is doing well now 🥰 we havent had tantrums yet but he has started throwing his head and back back when he doesnt want to go down for a nap so maybe thats the start of defiance haha!

@XjustagirlX do you have any embryos waiting or will it be a full cycle again?

@whatsthecraic91 oh goodness they have grown up so quickly! Do they get on well?

XjustagirlX · 12/08/2023 23:31

Hi, long time no speak everyone!!!! Gosh us old timers went through didn’t we!! My boy is 22 months now and a fully fledged toddler with a wild spirit, affectionate and I get whiplash with the amount of mood swings he possesses daily 😆.

@Annny27 so so happy to hear you have a little one, rough start to entering this world for him but the little I read you’re both doing well now?
@MIW01 how are you getting on with the private route?

@Annny27 I'm so glad he is doing well! I'm sure NICU was a scary experience. Yes he was 2 on NYE! So I have a 24 month old & an 8 month old. Life is chaotic 😂🙈

@XjustagirlX oh my goodness! Congratulations! I'm sure that was such a shock! Hope you're both doing well 😍

@Lozzlepop how are you doing?

@MIW01 im so sorry, I can't imagine what you are going through. Praying the private route works for you 🙏🏼

XjustagirlX · 30/01/2023 11:01

@Annny27 @Lozzlepop thanks.

@Annny27 She is doing really well. Luckily she had to come out due to my health not hers. She was on the cpap breathing machine, then she went down to oxyflow but now she is just on a tiny bit of oxygen through her nose but no pressure. So glad your baby is out of nicu now. It’s a strange experience.

@MIW01 im so sorry you are still going through this. I really believe you will get your baby.

Lozzlepop · 23/01/2023 21:06

@XjustagirlX massive congratulations I hope you are both doing well.

@Annny27 how are you getting on now you are home and settled?

@MIW01 my heart goes out to you lovely, I can’t even imagine how tough it must be. Hopefully the private route works out for you!

MIW01 · 22/01/2023 18:58

Congrats @Annny27 and @XjustagirlX sorry about the complications hope they're doing better now?

Just feel so, so low with this all now. 5 fucking years so far! I am so, so ready for my baby now . . . I am even past the point of feeling joy for others . . . I just feel so, so sad about it all.

We are starting the private process now. Contacted Access Fertility and TFP Wessex, and GP RE tests (again) and need to discuss financing more IVF with family. So gutted we are here after all this time. Would have been 28 weeks if we hadn't lost our one and only BFP 😪

Annny27 · 22/01/2023 14:35

@whatsthecraic91 @XjustagirlX sorry it didnt tag you in the above message

Annny27 · 22/01/2023 14:34

Sorry @whatsthecraic91 i missed your message in the craziness! We ended up spending 10 weeks in the NICU and have been home for a few weeks now! So now the sleepless nights really begins haha.
Has your little boy had his birthday?

@XjustagirlX oh my goodness! Feel free to PM me, i was (and am!) Permanently attached to the pumping machine when we were in the nicu. We spent 10 weeks there. How are you feeling and how is she doing? Is she on breathing support etc? Xx

XjustagirlX · 21/01/2023 19:07

Hi everyone

so at my standard 28 week midwife appointment I got rushed to hospital with preclampsia. I was told that my baby needed to be delivered within the next couple of days.

had an emergency C-section at 29 weeks. So my baby girl is currently in nicu and I’m recovering at home permanently attached to the milk pumping machine.

whatsthecraic91 · 19/01/2023 21:40

@Annny27 how are you getting on? x

whatsthecraic91 · 14/11/2022 10:48

@Annny27 I hope he's ok and you can go home soon! How are coping with it all? Hope you're feeling & recovering well. Well done, pumping is such hard work!! I'm back at work now 3 days a week & pumping at work 3 times a day, it's not easy!

We are getting on well DD is now 6 months & weaning! DS is now 20months & an absolute handful 😂 time is flying x

Annny27 · 12/11/2022 11:07

Oh and he was just under 6 pounds!

OP posts:
Annny27 · 12/11/2022 11:06

Thank you everyone! Me and baby are still at the hospital in the NiCU poor little guy! So I am permanently attached to the pump making milk haha!

Hows everyone else getting on?

XjustagirlX · 26/10/2022 20:00

@Annny27 congratulations on your baby boy. Hopefully he will be hone very soon.

@thislittlebird soery I must have missed your last message. I took prednosoline from just after transfer to 12 weeks. It actually stopped my horrendous sickness as I was so ill from 12 weeks.

Lozzlepop · 25/10/2022 20:59

@Annny27 massive congratulations to you both! Sorry to hear your little man was so poorly but they are such little fighters and he sounds like he’s doing well and is in the best place. What weight was he? Do you have a name for this little champ yet? Hope you are doing ok recovery wise. I’ll be keeping you all in my thoughts! Xx

Annny27 · 25/10/2022 20:26

Hello :) our little boy was born by csection after a long induction on saturday.
He was very poorly immediatley after birth and was immediately transfered to a specialist hospital 1.5 hours away - he is in the NICU and is intubated with machines breathing for him but he is stable at the moment and making small progresses 💙💙

We are so in love with him he is just adorable 💙💙💙

OP posts:
whatsthecraic91 · 15/10/2022 20:01

@Annny27 he absolutely loves her now. At the beginning not so much 😂 he can say her name & is always giving her kisses it's adorable 😍 I hope you're enjoying your last couple of weeks of pregnancy before the fun starts 🤩xx

Annny27 · 09/10/2022 23:28

@thislittlebird sounds like such a hard situation with no real answers or definitive next steps :( Have they checked for endometriosis with you? I had little to no symptoms

@whatsthecraic91 that's so good she is feeding well ♥️ how does your son get on with her? Haha oh no entering the terrible twos will be a fun experience!

@XjustagirlX that will be exciting to have a surprise:D whens your due date again?

thislittlebird · 09/10/2022 21:32

@XjustagirlX interesting. We may well have a quality/viability issue because of our age now, but we can’t really help that. I was supposed to do two this cycle but one didn’t survive the thaw. How long do you have to take the pred for?

Yeah we’re meeting the Lister on Wednesday. I am hoping for better care, the last month of so with my nhs clinic has been atrocious. Sending me invoices, chasing me for payment for money I don’t owe, me arguing with them about it, no on replying to me emails asking for help. I took myself to EPU but I was really disappointed the clinic do literally nothing when you have issues after a positive test. Wouldn’t even blood test me.
