Hi ladies!

Anyone else ovulated today? I'm pretty sure I did after a peak OPK yesterday and now starting the dreaded TWW... my first as we're on cycle 1. I'm CD16 with a generally 30 day cycle.

Would love some company as I inevitably drive myself absolutely loco over the next fortnight 😂

Any early symptoms I can look out for to keep me occupied?!

Good luck to everyone!

Morning everyone! How are you all today?

I think I'm finally off my period 🙌🏻 so ready to get started again soon. AF took a full week this time so I wonder if my cycle will be a bit delayed. Has anyone else got experience of trying again after a chemical?

Won't lie, felt a bit down this week at points and struggled a bit but feeling lots more positive now. The hormones went a bit haywire for me I think.

@WonderCity how are you feeling now love? Hope all okay xx

Hey @WrongendoftheSTIX I hadn’t thought of coq10 but it’s now on my list. Thanks!

Well I’ve been hit by some kind of bug pretty bad so I think it was all just the beginnings of that. A few days R&R should sort me out. I’ll be back to count down the next tww with you ladies.

WrongendoftheSTIX · 02/03/2021 12:53

@WonderCity I've had a very different AF this month too!

Don't know if it's down to the supplements this month but I often have long, drawn out periods 4/5 days with 2 days of spotting.

This month I'm cd3 and spotting - only need panty liner! Day 1 & 2 were heavier than usual and day 1 was ridiculously painful with nausea etc (v unusual for me) but I'm done!
My BBT is rising now too so chart shows I'm over AF too and gearing up for ov. Glad I ordered the ubiquinol on CD1 so I have been taking it for a couple of days ready for ov!

Thanks for the replies. This morning the cramps are much better and I’m generally feeling less worried about it. Ive got no FRER so couldn’t test but I Amazoned some so I will do that tomorrow morning just to be sure. If I get more bad cramps or the bleeding returns I’ll definitely call the gp. I actually quite like the new system of telephone calls rather than face to face. Nothing worse than turning up for your appointment but waiting for like an hour because the dr is always running late...

Jaymar · 28/02/2021 22:43

Hi @WonderCity. Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell. Is it maybe worth doing a more sensitive test like a FRER tomorrow morning? Then if it’s negative you can maybe rule out pregnancy (ie ectopic or early loss) as the cause and 111 or your GP can explore other abdominal causes. If it comes back positive you can try the EPU.

HaresHoping · 28/02/2021 22:15

Hey @WonderCity 👋🏻 I'm so sorry you're having those horrible cramps and all that confusion 😔 have you spoken to your OH? I haven't got any knowledge of ectopic pregnancies but I do know it can be super painful. If you are in ANY doubt at all I would strongly suggest you ring 111 to get peace of mind at least. That's exactly what the service is there for, so make sure you use it if you need it. I would if I were in your position. Hope all is okay and they can reassure you and advise on how you can get some relief. Will be thinking of you ❤️ let us know how you get on xxx

Guys can I pick your brains?...

So, as you know I’m out this month as AF arrived yesterday morning. Thing is, it’s now totally disappeared. So that’s around 36 hours of bleeding. I sorta though well maybe IB but its late (would have been about 14/15dpo) and it wasn’t always light. It was odd actually. At first light and brown, then dark but not the usual red of a normal period. It was like a medium to heavy period yesterday afternoon then today it just tapered off. Another thing is the cramps. It started a couple of days before af turned up. Mild at that point. However after the bleeding started the cramps have been seriously bad. I’ve never had a period like it. The cramps are constant at a low level and then there’s times when it’s like someone has stabbed me in the uterus lol. I’m doubled over in pain until it passes, normally in a few minutes. I still have cramps now even though no bleeding. Then there’s the stomach upset and TMI sorry - diarrhoea. The last odd thing I noticed is my boobs. Swollen tender and prominent veins. Hmmm. So I googled a bunch of stuff and now I’m worrying about things like ectopic. I did a test bfn but all I had in the house was a cb digi. Maybe it’s nothing, maybe it’s just an odd period. I’ve never had a 36 hour period before though. Normally 5 or 6 days. Urgh.

That's the sweetest message , your children are very lucky to have you @GCB1234 xx

GCB1234 · 28/02/2021 16:58

And hellooooo Aunt Floooow

Yes, that’s me out! What a roller coaster of a week!

I have four beautiful bambino’s and have never experienced the two week wait before. I have a new level of respect for anyone ttc and going through this month after month. It’s been exhausting!
This is me out out, as we are not ttc and my fifth baby, my business, is due to re-open having been closed due to the pandemic. I will be starting the mini pill now and focusing on ensuring that flourishes. It’s certainly made me realise maybe I could squeeze out just one more beautiful fresh human... they are worth it all, and more, aren’t they?

The energy and dedication I’ve seen in this thread, the love and the passion, the commitment - what wonderful Mummy’s, Mummy’s to be, and soon to be Mummy’s to be you all already are. Giving you’re all to this. I admire you.

Good luck to those who have life beginning.

Good luck to those who are life creating.

May all your dreams come true.

Thanks for the laughs, making my madness feel normal and putting up with my drama lama!

Good bye for now!

G xxx

Thank you so much @xRRx really kind of you to say. Hope all going well with you, got everything crossed it's nice and smooth for you ❤️ yes the new baby is a proper belter! 9lbs2. My friend is a hero!

Hell yes @WonderCity the bottle will be polished off today 😂 ahh that's good with the due date. If my cycle stays the same I would be due around same time I think. Good time of year, just gearing up for the festive season! Let's both have a nice chill for a few days then and then it's charting ahoy ⛵️

@HaresHoping a glass, or bottle of wine sounds perfect! I love that feeling when you sit down with a drink. It’s like instant de stress. We have similar cycles. Anything between 28 / 31 days for me but usually 30. I’m getting better at using the opks and now with charting I’ll be able to see when I’ve ovulated Im sure. So we’ll be repeating this next month! I’ve come around to the idea of December birthdays I think. Also my due date would be December 4th. That and last time I had gestational diabetes and I wasn’t allowed to go passed 38 weeks. So really it would be anywhere close to Christmas. It would be the cycle after.

xRRx · 28/02/2021 13:26

Ah lovely news with the new baby! 💕

xRRx · 28/02/2021 13:25

@HaresHoping all the best for next cycle! Enjoy the wine in the meantime!
You are a pro with your charting and only having ttc for 1 month! You really are on this I have no doubt your BFP is on its way soon x

HaresHoping · 28/02/2021 12:55

Ahh thank you @WonderCity. Honestly feel fine about it now but we were a bit upset this morning. Oh god I have created a charting monster! 😂 my cycles are usually 30/31 days long, how about you?? Will be nice to have a buddy ☺️ we are going to just crack on I think. Slightly concerned if we are successful my OH will have to then deal with 3 December birthdays (me and my mum are just over a week apart 😂 our close friend is then a week after me too...) but wouldn't be too worried about that really. How are you feeling? I must admit I am DELIGHTED that OH is coming back with wine shortly 😂

Said close friend mentioned above welcomed a little girl into the world early hours of this morning, which has given me hope. As has the beautiful sunny weather ☺️ xxx

WonderCity · 28/02/2021 12:12

I’m sorry @HaresHoping. It absolutely rubbish to have your hopes raised like that and then have af arrive. If you’re trying next month then I guess we will be on the tww at similar time. How long are your cycles normally? Btw I am already obsessed with charting and I think I have you to blame for that Wink

HaresHoping · 28/02/2021 12:09

Thank you ☺️ off to get a massive joint of beef to eat in sandwiches with a bottle of red! Feeling okay about it now. It's a good sign that I can get pregnant so keeping positive xxx

Jaymar · 28/02/2021 10:24

Ah that’s such shame @HaresHoping. Hope you get some sunshine and a huge glass of wine today.

mrssunshinexxx · 28/02/2021 10:14

Really sorry to hear that @HaresHoping best of luck for next month. X

HaresHoping · 28/02/2021 09:59

Morning everyone. Think it was a chemical for us unfortunately. Nothing on the FRER this morning and started with brown spotting a few hours ago, thought it would be implantation bleeding but just been to the loo and seen red blood and clots. Such a shame but not to worry - will try again next month. Best of luck to everyone still waiting for AF and who already had their BFPs ☺️ xxx

mrssunshinexxx · 27/02/2021 14:59

Ah ok maybe different areas are different. We won't be getting it again

Jaymar · 27/02/2021 14:56

@mrssunshinexxx I’m in Scotland and I think the NHS have started doing them if your results from the usual 12 week scan measurements come back as very high risk. But we are thinking of getting one done privately anyway just for some reassurance. Think it can be done from 10 weeks onwards.

mrssunshinexxx · 27/02/2021 14:46

@Jaymar I thought you have the harmony tests at your 12 week scan?

Jaymar · 27/02/2021 14:32

I’m going to self refer on Monday. Haven’t decided on an early scan yet this time round, but we are leaning towards getting the Harmony test which I think would mean getting a scan at 10 weeks.

Our first due date was April, which would have been lovely, but early November means being close to bonfire night so we can celebrate birthdays with fireworks 😃 I think a Dec birthday would be great. January less so - everyone skint and on diets 😆
