Impatient TTC - Thread 3..or 4?

Congratulations on having little Ava @sunflowersaremyfav93 💖 she sounds wonderful!

So I’m coming up to 2 years TTC and still nothing unfortunately ☹️ I’ve had quite a few other health problems going on this last year which has put a pause on trying for a few of those months. I’m trying to be at peace with the likely possibility it isn’t going to happen but it’s so so hard x

@Hope91 congratulations!!! Better late than never 😂 I haven’t been on here in ages, but I remember you as MackJM and I know you waited a long time for your BFP so I’m so happy for you!! Only a couple of months until you get to meet your baby! How’s the pregnancy been for you? I also often think of this lovely group of women who really got me through the months of waiting to start TTC!

@NewbieB congrats on your beautiful daughter and to anyone else who’s had their lovely babies!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 you were due in December I believe but I can’t find an update in this thread, so let us know how you’re getting on! Xx

@Hope91 thank you! We are doing really well thank you. Beginning few weeks were so hard but once we had moved past the colic it has been dreamier ❤️.

@gems05 thank you :) it’s still so early so now the dreaded tww is over and the 12week wait begins then to the 40 week lol. A lot of waiting :) I hope that whatever the outcome you have a good birth and your beautiful little boy will be here in no time :) so exciting :)

Gestational diabetes is managing - I'm 35+2 so just waiting for growth scan and consultant appt next Wednesday to find out how we go about delivering the baby boy 💙
Because of the medication/insulin I was told early on that it would have to be the main delivery ward (not the birth centre I was hoping for)

I'm just waiting for this dam heatwave to do one so I can keep pottering about getting things ready for my baby boy 💙 I'm ready for him to be here now

@Aurora1304 no problem at all. I know exactly what you mean this was cycle 12 for me so I familiar with that all consuming feeling. Sometimes it’s nice to just have somewhere to chat with people who are going through it :) so always here. Thanks so much fingers crossed it progresses :) x

Hi all. Quick update from me, I've had the baby ☺️. He arrived 37+6 and is 11 days old today. I'm having a pretty rough recovery with infections etc but other than that am very very happy.

@Hope91 thank you for your message yes it can get very draining and all consuming. Trying hard to not let it get to me though - another month down haha! I think having this outlet for my feelings will help - sometimes I feel like a broken record with friends and family.
That's a definite second line in your pic! Congratulations! xxx

@NewbieB thank you! You and @CookieMonster3001 have made me feel so much better my dh was like it’s really faint and I’ve been thinking all day how faint it is lol!

@CookieMonster3001 thank you so much! I am honestly so shocked after thinking we would be going down the infertility route. I keep expecting my period to come everytime I go for a wee- I hope that feeling passes as I am a ball of nerves. Thank you same I’m keeping everything crossed

Hayfever settled for me last month thanks. I’m 32 weeks on wed and looking forward to baby arriving (and trying to finish renovating our upstairs before!).

@Hope91 hello my lovely! First of all, that is not a faint line, that is 100% a strong positive!! Congratulations!!! Im so happy for you and whilst its still early days im keeping everything crossed for you that it sticks!

Im doing well! Not long left now! I am due in 8 weeks. Didnt find out the gender so will find out soon enough!!! Been washing all the babys clothes today and now relaxing while lil babe is kicking around! Defo cant wait to meet my angel. Starting NCT classes soon and have been doing hypnobirthing which has been great!

Little update from me… cycle 12 I am 11dpo and I have the faintest bfp. I am trying to not get too excited but this is the first time I have seen a second line. I have only told dh so far but next thing I wanted to do was share it with you girls as you have been with me all journey. Not going to tell friends and family until 12 weeks. Thank you all for all of your support over the last year I can’t tell you how much it means x

@Aurora1304 I am so sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage. I can completely understand about analysing the bleeding and wondering if implantation. Ttc is so confusing isn’t it! How are you doing now? Sorry to hear you are feeling really drained by it all always here if you need to chat!

I think I'm just going to admit defeat this month. I really though I might be pregnant as everything was different this time. I just feel so drained after these last few days and hoping - luckily have a weekend away booked with my OH so can relax xx

@Lollipop87@NewbieB thanks! I am not holding out much hope though - had a bit more bleeding this morning. Has anyone had that? It's stopped again again though so still playing with my mind haha!

@Lollipop87 i also had cramps like that. I remember taking a test at 9 DPO and imagining i could see a positive line in the light but then talked myself out of it (now i’m thinking it was a very faint line seeing as I tested positive next day).

@Aurora1304 let us know! Fingers crossed for you. I’ll be 30 weeks tomorrow 🤗
