Mustkeepgoing2 · 30/04/2021 12:41

Thank you all so much ladies. Really really early days but going to take a day at a time.

@elsimo We have been trying since January 2020. I would have liked to have started earlier than that but my period only returned 18 months after my little boy was born.

I fell pregnant in April 2020 but it was sadly an Ectopic and then I fell again in July but it ended in a chemical and again in August 2020 but sadly at the 10 week scan we discovered our little boys heart had stopped. It has been a really rough journey and it has all but broken me at times.

I am honestly so thankful for this group. Even though I haven’t posted much I have been following everyone’s story’s and it has honestly kept me going and made me feel like I am not alone. So thank you all.

Thinking of you all and keeping my fingers crossed for you all too.

Stay strong xxxx

elsimo · 30/04/2021 09:08

Thanks guys, i'm ok. That was a 29 day cycle so hopefully things are settling down eventually.

Just thinking thats @Mustkeepgoing2 and @RichmondLady1981 both falling pregnant after starting IVF - maybe I just need to pull my finger out and get on with it xx

bez91 · 30/04/2021 08:42

OMG! Rather unbelievably girls I have just tested at 9 DPO and it’s a BFP!

Very faint. I’ll upload in a minute but it is there!

I am literally due for my baseline scan and order of my IVF drugs today!!!!!!

It’s so early and I am feeling all sorts of nervous and confused as I was so geared up for it all.

(You are the first people I have told! Is that weird?)

Xxx

SLCxxx · 30/04/2021 06:49

@1990EM congratulations, thank you for the positivity and hope 💕

Lollipop25 · 30/04/2021 00:46

chloedancer897 · 29/04/2021 20:31

@1990EM it's so lovely to hear from you and such a lovely story to share! I remember you from last year and so glad to hear your little rainbow baby is safe and well xo

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 18:30

@1990EM hi 👋🏻 so lovely to hear a positive story, thank you so much for sharing. Definitely gives a little hope that there may actually be light at the end of the tunnel!

1990EM · 29/04/2021 15:48

Hi ladies. I haven't posted on here in a few months but have been checking in every so often and cheering you all on. I joined this group nearly a year ago when I devastatingly lost a baby at 10 weeks pregnant. This little community helped me so much. I'm so sorry to see some familiar names still waiting for their BFP, what a journey it is Sad and one that none of us would have chosen.
I now have my little rainbow baby, born a few weeks ago and even though we love and adore him and are so grateful for him, I think every day about the one we lost and I think of you ladies a lot too, such a strong and courageous bunch!! Just wanted to come on and send everyone some love and prayers. you never know how much sharing your stories on here, even anonymously, can help someone else who is needing the support they don't have anywhere else ❤️

bubblybrit · 28/04/2021 13:34

Thank you all. It’s taught me to symptom spot less and not get too excited when AF is late....even if it’s by 5 days. Work is difficult today but just soldiering on. Trying to think ahead to the next cycle x

susiebluebell · 28/04/2021 11:14

@bez91 I think it's really good and about time! Makes me angry how we put up with care options being essentially like doing the lottery; sooo many messages on here about 'push them to do x; I can't get z where I live' etc... beggars belief really but we think it's normal.

It's tough though because as much as I get riled up about it, my miscarriage is something I actually DON'T want all my colleagues etc to know about. It's painful enough talking to family about it. So it's hard to know how to go about opening the conversation up - but I suppose that's the same as other touchy medical things.

Re your other question, my normal cycle is 34 days and I should have ovulated a couple of days ago! But recently I've had all these ridiculous long (45+) cycles and am just hoping for one in the 34-day range. Will keep doing OPKs 3 times a day and see what happens.
