@bez91 nope no AF here 🙄 2 days late but a BFN - excellent lol xx

Florence15 · 28/03/2021 13:12

@bez91 I’m sorry to hear that too 🥺. I totally understand how your feel. It’s just so emotionally draining when you get the BFN isn’t it. I hope you feel better soon and sending you hugs 🤗 xx

ELMcg · 28/03/2021 12:56

@bez91 I'm so sorry, I had everything crossed for you this month and was hopeful you would get a positive!

You've done all the right things, sending lots of hugs and hope a walk manages to clear your head a bit ❤️. Fully understand wanting a break too, it's an exhausting journey each month!

bez91 · 28/03/2021 11:12

Thank you @NatJ24 @Marvellouslymadmum 💕 I really appreciate it.

@Mustkeepgoing2 you're right it truly is shit. We seem to be a similar amount of cycles post MMC. I do have some paid healthcare available, I think it only amounts to £100 though for counselling. I've thought about acupuncture too just nowhere that local. I've bought an acupressure mat this morning to cheer me up. It was either that or a new car so I've probably chosen wisely 😂 where are you up to this cycle? X

Sorry to hear this @bez91. I also dip in and out and find it helps because otherwise I found it all consuming and felt like day by day, week by week I was wishing my life away if that makes sense.

I am on cycle 6 since my MMC. I had previously had an ectopic and fell pregnant with my MMC two cycles later which in a way made it all easier as it felt like it was just bad luck. On reflection I am finding this the hardest as it’s been 5 months now with nothing. I am actually seeing a therapist now which actually really helps.

There is no rolling this situation in glitter! It is just shit!!!

I was lucky with my therapist as it was provided with my work private healthcare. I would really recommend it if the opportunity is open too you.

Contemplating acupuncture now too but I am sceptical about it!

Thinking of you and sending love xxx

Marvellouslymadmum · 28/03/2021 09:38

@bez91 so sorry, it is totally emotionally draining and taking a month of may definitely help. Sending hugs

NatJ24 · 28/03/2021 08:28

Morning @bez91 ohh, I am so gutted for you! I was hoping so much for you this month 😭 its such a rollercoaster of emotions. Its good to have a cry and let it all out, it can help and better than keeping it all in. Fresh air is always good too. I hope you are ok, sending hugs 🌟 xx

bez91 · 28/03/2021 08:11

Thanks @elsimo 😊 you're right. Heading out for a walk to give myself a lift. Did AF show for you? 5th one since MMC right? Same as me I think? X

elsimo · 28/03/2021 07:35

FFS @bez91, I was really hoping for u this month 😭😭.
Take care of yourself today. It's just so so tough to find the strength to keep trying every month.
Xx

bez91 · 28/03/2021 07:10

Got up super early, couldn't sleep so tested, BFN. Feel pretty gutted more so this month don't know why 😔. Got back into bed with DH for a bit and sobbed which isn't like me 😳 may take a bit of a break next month tracking, it's so emotionally draining 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Marvellouslymadmum @Florence15 @NatJ24
Thanks for your replies ☺️ i only had my surgical management on the 15th so still waiting for a negative test but I'll certainly have a look at those recommended so I'm prepared for when its time!

SLCxxx · 25/03/2021 22:36

Hey Ladies,

Congratultiins @NatJ24 @ELMcg, so happy for you both!

AF, the witch, caught me so I’m CD3 now 🤦🏼‍♀️.. here we go again!

@MeganChar1 @SamBass so sorry for your losses

ELMcg · 25/03/2021 19:10

@bez91 hope you are taking it easy! At least it's nearly the weekend and not long until you can test by the sounds of it! 🤞 For you!

Marvellouslymadmum · 25/03/2021 18:42

@SamBass I use the clearblue digital advance opk I tried various cheap strips but could never get any decent results

Florence15 · 25/03/2021 18:26

@SamBass Hi, I’ve been using the easy at home ones (Amazon) which are really good alongside clear blue advanced digital. Used them for the last 2 months and had my peak on both months.

@ELMcg and @NatJ24 wow congratulations guys that’s amazing news. I’m really happy for you both. It gives us all hope!! Fingers crossed for sticky beans 🙏

bez91 · 25/03/2021 17:39

Hey @NatJ24 I'm ok thank you. Feeling absolutely exhausted, fell asleep at 8 last night 😳 and today has been a struggle. Not reading too much into it as I seem to get fatigue at this stage in my cycle anyway just not usually to this extreme. I might test on Sunday at 12dpo. How are you feeling? Has it sunk in yet?

OP posts:
NatJ24 · 25/03/2021 17:10

@bez91 how are you today?

NatJ24 · 25/03/2021 17:09

@SamBass sorry about your MMC.
I think a few of us on here use the CB one with the dual hormone detecter? The purple stick one. I've used it a few times and its worked well, easy to follow 😊

NatJ24 · 25/03/2021 17:06

@MeganChar1 so sorry for your loss. I think after a loss most of us get anxiety in some way, and your own personal experience will trigger it for different things. When I had my scan it was with a big screen and I seen it up there and there was no heartbeat and it was always something I wish I didnt see so I know where you are coming from. Maybe if you did get an early private scan in future you could ask them to turn that bigger screen off.
It normal all the worries you have, just take each day as it comes 🌟

MeganChar1 · 25/03/2021 13:43

@bez91 definitely seems that way so I’ve done quite a lot of research off my own back and will be happy to pay for bloods privately e.g medichecks etc.

Has anyone had private progesterone testing on day 21 before?

bez91 · 25/03/2021 13:30

Welcome @MeganChar1 sorry you find yourself here though. Unfortunately the shit reality seems to be that there is only support the more MCs you have had. I've had 2 the last being a MMC that required surgical intervention. My local EPU have said they'd probably rescan me if I fall pregnant again but they all differ so private seems the only way. I try and concentrate on the here and now rather than what could happen in future, any scans etc as it only exacerbates anxieties.

Anyone testing soon?

MeganChar1 · 25/03/2021 12:12

@justwant2beamum I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease with my thyroid about a year ago which causes underactive thyroid, but I just took my medication and didn’t think anything of it really until pregnancy and then mmc. But I now know my TSH level was 5.5 when pregnant and it needs to be under 2.5 for pregnancy. I would recommend asking your gp because when I was diagnosed I was just feeling tired all the time so they tested everything x

justwant2beamum · 25/03/2021 11:57

Hey @MeganChar1 sorry to hear. I had a mmc too, found out on 1st March. I have long worried about my thyroid as always cold and tired, dry skin etc. Did your GP test you after your MC? I'm scared to ask in case they say no.

SamBass · 25/03/2021 11:40
