Missing period! Stuck in limbo

Hi everyone just wanting some advice or experience. Ttc #3 last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th January. That has come and gone and still nothing. Negative tests obviously. Always been regular have missed the odd one before. Have also been using opks but there still all fairly light so nothing happening on that front. Just feel like I'm stuck in limbo. No ovulation happening up to now and no period. What do people do in this situation?! Just keep DTD? Or is it pointless with negative opks all the time. Soo frustrating. I'm now cd 49 roughly. Confused driving myself mad testing all the time . Why does ttc make us go so crazy??!! Grin

@skl2021 haha I hate the 2ww I'm so impatient and every symptom I convince myself I must be pregnant then get all disappointed when I get my BFN!
Fingers crossed for us this month 🤞
@crazydoglad123 I did one last Sunday so would have been around CD 39 which was negative.

@Sparkles512 without getting your hopes up, have you done a recent HPT? I've read a lot of positive OPK's after no period can also mean you're pregnant.

@skl2021 I really hope so 🤞 I've been getting so frustrated that AF hasn't made an appearance and just wanted to get on with the next cycle!

@Sparkles512 I think it is possible yes. And with all the signs your saying I would say u are! I would take another test just to be sure it wasn't faulty. How exciting if your are! Hoping I will be in the next week or so 🤞

@skl2021 yes the timing is exactly right for when I should be ovulating.
I've had stomach cramps today which could possibly be the start of AF or ovulation pains?
Is it a thing to miss a period but still ovulated? I'm not very good at all this TTC stuff haha

@Sparkles512 maybe u just missed your period and now your ovulating again? The timing is about right isn't it. Can you take another one just to be sure it's not faulty? And obviously start getting busy 🤣🤞

Hi everyone, I'm so confused!

I have just had a Positive OPK, my last period started on 2nd January so I'm on CD 46!

Am I just ovulating but not had a period this month or are they just faulty!?

What does this mean, I just want AF to arrive so we can try again!

AF arrived 14 days late! Ah well, I'd pretty much accepted the fact I wasn't pregnant anyway by this point. Good luck everyone ☺️

@Gembo25 it sounds like maybe you're not ovulating/ovulating properly. Have you asked your GP for any investigations yet? May be worth seeing if they'll do a 21 day blood test on your next cycle to check your progesterone levels

@Gembo25 you could try tracking ovulation to make sure u are actually ovulating? But if it's to much stress and upsetting I wouldn't. Don't put more pressure on yourself. Have u tried anything else? I know some ladies try other things that may help. @Crazydoglady123 might be able to help you a bit more she has tried alot of things before going down the IVF and doctor route. Some times out bodies like to throw a spanner in the works. My period finally came on cd51 this time. Never does this either! Have u tried another test lately?

Haven't tracked ovulation, and tried to conceive for bout 12 months then sort of slacked off and stopped tryin so hard as it's upsetting when doesn't go to plan, Iv been 1 or 2 days late but never 5 days! Xx

@Gembo25 welcome. Sorry your in this situation with us. Did u track ovulation? Have u ever been late before? Is this your first month ttc?
@Crazydoglady123 give us an update when u start using them I'm intrigued! Pee sticks and technology in one.. amazing! I'm going to have a look and see if there's any I need 🤣 fingers crossed aswel 🤞

Sorry jump on guys, I'm currently 5 days late and BFN? Confused but don't have any symptoms for AF!! I feel tired and Goin loo a lot but that's about it xx

@Crazydoglady123 wow just looked them up they are cool 🤣 didn't even know they existed. I need to up my game 🙈 I was just going to start when my period finished I'm usually on for about 5 days. As I don't know when I ovulate just thought I better test everyday to make sure I don't miss it . And to see that I do actually ovulate 🤔

@Skl2021 I bought the Clear Blue connected ones that connect to your phone 🤩 It's saying to start on 18th Feb but as I've had such a short period I think I may start Monday. When are you starting testing?

@Crazydoglady123 I have been looking at clear blue ovulation tests aswell. Used them with my 1st easier to tell with the smiley face. Are u starting the ovulation tests now? Think I'm going to buy some more 😂 yes I think your giving it a good try testing some things first. Hope accupuncture goes well this time and it doesn't hurt!

@Skl2021 us women and sticks to pee on eh 🤣 Normally, I'd spot for 3-5 days and then bleed for 3-5 days. I had no spotting this time, straight to bleeding and now done! I've actually brought some clear blue digital OPK's for this month and some myo inositol and some preseed which all thanks to Amazon prime arrived today. I definitely feel like these last couple of months before the IVF starts I want to give my body every chance possible to do it naturally. Having the scan on CD15 will be good too to see if I've ovulated. Apparently acupuncture is actually scientifically proven to help as it increases blood flow to your uterus. My IVF clinic offers it before and after embryo transfers. Personally I didn't like it last time. The needles in my hands and feet felt fine but she put one in the middle of my abdomen and it was a killer and felt pretty queasy after! However she did say to tell her if it's uncomfortable and I didn't but I will say before we start this time 🙄

@Crazydoglady123 glad u sorted things with oh. They don't understand the stress we go through 🤣 2 days seems weird doesn't it? What's your normal length? Ooh acupuncture never ever tried that but if it's got good reviews it's worth a shot isn't it. Anything to help! Does it hurt? Let's hope it gets u that positive result! Yes I'm feeling better thanks. Just want to get this over and get testing them opks so I know I actually ovulate! Sucker for a pee stick 🤣

@Skl2021 men are just so useless to it all. Mine just doesn't understand how I feel at all and thinks the way I feel is abnormal. I keep telling him I talk to plenty of women on here who go through the same and his only knows his opinion as he doesn't talk to anyone about what we're going through so he knows no different! I hated him last night and went through all the emotions of I'm not trying anymore but we've sorted it out this morning and back on track. He just needs to be a little bit more sensitive on the way I feel.
Sorry your AF isn't nice either and you're going through a rough time too! Are you any better today?
It's weird, I basically stopped bleeding last night so all that time and it's lasted two days! I've booked for acupuncture on Saturday. I've been hearing so much good stuff on it and even my IVF clinic on the webinar meeting said it's actually proven to help. I had one session before when I came off my depo as it took 5 months for my periods to start. I had my session and within a few weeks I came on however I hated the acupuncture so never went back...till now 🤣

@Crazydoglady123 I feel you. I also had crying session just had to let it all out. I'm finding myself snappy with the other half I know it's not his fault but I just keep taking it out on him 😩 this period has been a different one for me too 🤔 painful clumpy trying not to think to much into it but it's hard isn't it. I'm glad your scan if booked gives u something to look forward too hopefully they can find out what's going on and get u sorted. Can't wait for this af to be gone!!! 😒

Hey @Skl2021 not having the best day! The reality of AF hit me today as I really believed I could be pregnant this time so felt really down which the OH doesn't understand at all and so we had a massive row tonight. He was talking loads about his friend finding out his wife's pregnant this week which just felt like him driving a knife into my heart what with pms hormones etc but he really can't understand why I feel this way. I'll be okay in a day or so, I always am. Also having a horrible period. I passed to massive chunks of fleshy tissue earlier 🤢 On the plus side my scan to check my cysts is now booked for two weeks today.
How are you doing?
